Nice and helpful people running the hotel, it was as expected for the low cost. Room was as pictured and fine for the 1 night, no complaints on comfort but it's an old bed. Towels/bedding were ok. I'm sure they'll continue to renovate over time.

The kettle was old and the white plastic stained dark inside, possibly from mould. Certainly wouldn't use it. It's a very cheap thing to replace, and if anyone had opened it they should know it needs to be thrown out. I am sure if I had asked for a replacement they would have but these sorts of things need to be switched for health reasons in my opinion

I had dinner which was superb. The service was very good. Good and healthy food too.

There's no one at reception sometimes. Customers need their questions answered dont get help until later. Try to have someone employed as a full time receptionist. You can't have the same person from cleaning to serving in reception. To look presentable and clean, it cant be immediately from mopping etc.That is my opinion as your regular customer. Some people cant handle the pressure. It leads them to mishandle the customers.

Everything. My wife and I use this establishment a number of times a year. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Rugby.

On this visit, I spoke to the new management that the room we were staying in needed a new mattress. The one we slept on was past its best. I was informed that that was in progress, as was other refurbishments taking place under the new management. However, this establishment is still ideal for holidays. Or just a flying visit.

good location close to town centre but quiet surrounding good car parking nice layout in the hotel clean and tidy the guy on the check in was very helpful and insisted on showing me to my room also carrying some of my luggage and informed me where local pubs/bars and eateries were will use this place on future work visits

as a contractor working away from home a lot it would have been good if there was a couple of plates/ cutlery in the room as we tend to to live on take outs and pre-prepared food although when requested from hotel check in it was supplied

It was clean, fresh bedding. The room was basic, but we didn't expect any better for the price we paid. To be honest we expected it to be worse than it was according to some reviews and star ratings. But it was perfect for our 1 night sleep. Thank you

The only thing I can complain about is that there wasn't any shower curtain or shower screen. Also I would say some beds need new mattresses.

I loved the fact there is a lived-in feel about this hotel. No corporate perfection and stuffiness. I just felt relaxed in the comfortable, clean room, that had everything I needed. Clean shower, basin and toilet, comfortable bed with clean linen, tea, coffee, kettle, hair dryer, tv and a window that opened for fresh air. The room was very well heated. Amy, who runs the place, works really hard, to keep her guests happy. There is no food available or bar, (at the moment), but Amy will direct you to eateries, shops and pubs a few minutes walk away. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Rugby Station and well priced, which is why I initially chose it. Would definitely stay there again! I'd like to wish Amy best wishes for her future plans for the Grosvenor.

Members of staff are very friendly and respectiful. All the four who served me during my stay, if I was their employer, I would keep them for long. The hotel's atmosphere has changed. The rooms are clean. They made themselves available and ready to give a hand at all times. Please pass my sincere appritiation to all of them. Thank you.

Perfect location for town. Free Parking. Lovely bar and restaurant with outdoor seating. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Got a bath and shower. Good price. Clean and tidy.

Bar was closed at 9.45pm when we returned which was frustrating as it was advertised as open till 11pm. Room needed decorating as does exterior of hotel

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The first was to visit my Father a month before, the second for his funeral. The staff remembered meeting him, and were very kind, personable and helpful. The room I had the second time was a double supreme/superior and was perfect for what I needed during a very fragile time, a real sanctuary, with a bath, suite to work at, lots of space and light and very comfortable. The location was brilliant, very close to both town and station and value for money was excellent, I could have not ask for more.

A vending machine on site with bottles of drinking water would be useful.

Very good restaurant , very helpfull Staff, warm room despite awfull weather and single glased old Windows, hot water all day , lots of tea and cofee , big room , very comfy bed , lot of toiletres, calm location not far away from city center , warm duet.

Dark corridors on Sunday morning when checking out , a lot of stairs to climb without lift , no carpets in a room .
