Although only small it had everything we needed for a 3 day stay . Spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated . Appreciated the Welcome pack on arrival consisting of bread , tea, coffee , milk, fruit, breakfast cereal , fresh orange juice. There are limited cooking facilities ( a microwave and a kettle ) which was fine for us as we did not intend to do much in terms of self catering. The owners , Pat and bill live in the attached property and were on hand to meet and greet us and were keen to make sure everything was as expected.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about the property . A slightly bigger fridge would have been nice but it wasn’t a major issue .

Exactly as pictured. A lovely, spacious bedroom, with ensuite and rural views. Plus a separate living room with a small kitchen area, table & chairs, sofa and TV. And a private outside space perfect for a cuppa/glass of wine. Absolutely spotless, I've never stayed anywhere so clean! Pat and Bill were lovely hosts - not intrusive, but there if you need them or want local info, and lovely people to chat to. A great base for exploring the local area.

We found the bed too soft (personal preference) and the sofa was uncomfortable (although I appreciate not cheap to replace)

The location is simply beautiful,lovely views over the farmland from the bedroom and house is situated in stunning alpine like grounds. There is a private garden for guests to relax in and deer, squirrels and rabbits are part of the gorgeous surroundings. It is an idyllic little paradise. The hosts Pat and Bill make the stay so welcoming. The accommodation is absolutely immaculate.

Host was very helpful and friendly, the place was immaculately clean and very homey, well equipped. Beautiful quiet location and relaxing garden.

Please note breakfast provided consists of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice, rather than a cooked breakfast which we mistakenly assumed. However it was pleasant and enough breakfast provided for the two nights' stay.

The property was very clean and had everything you would need for self catering. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. They even left a breakfast pack for us for the next morning which was a very nice touch. Great value for money. Property is in a great location to explore Dumfries & Galloway area. Would highly recommend staying at this property, would come back again.

Nothing, everything exceeded our expectations

Beautiful setting with great hosts. Helpful, but not overbearing. Price did not include breakfast, however there were many items provided for breakfast for our 4 night stay. Spacious, mini apartment, with room to move, separate living room/ kitchen, hallway and en-suite. We'll laid out, cozy decor. All of the details were well thought out. Kitchen with small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, all cups, glasses, dishes, cutlery, corkscrew, etc. All spotlessly clean, overlooking fields and a beautiful garden, which was ours to enjoy!

There's nothing to improve upon

Nice little set up with sitting too. Kitchen, en suite bathroom with nice little space outside to sit. Well located about a mile from Dalbeattie and very handy for visting the coast. Vrry prscefil. Hosys were exceptionally friendly and welcomimg.

Sitting room and kitchen was very small but acceptable for a short stay..The sofa was far from comfortable and was past its prime. It rather brought standard of other furniture and decor down

Excellent location just a short walk from the town center. Lovely welcome breakfast pack which lasted us for the whole of our stay. Pat was always available, attentive and very knowledgeable when we had any questions.

Living and kitchen areas are a bit 'cozy' as is the shower. fridge is a bit small for longer stays but we took a cool box so we managed. property can be noisy when owners are moving furniture upstairs!

A small but lovely property with everything you needed fitted in really cleverly. Great little kitchenette and comfy sofa. Garden is lovely. Comfy bed and good shower with plenty of hot water. Really friendly welcome and lots of goodies. A perfect and quiet spot for exploring the area and really convenient for cycling to Dalbeattie Forest to ride the trails.

Fantastic peaceful location as a base for sightseeing. Having a fridge and microwave facilities meant I didn't have to eat out. It was great to be able to chill out in the evening with a glass of wine and watch Netflix. And last but most certainly not least Pat and Bill were most welcoming hosts. It was a pleasure to have met them. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I was in the area.
