The rooms were clean,the staff were excellent,

On numerous previous visits with our grand daughter the swimming pool was available to hotel residents now the situation has changed the pool is now part of a SPA which now means that the pool is now no longer available to children adults only and at an extra charge. Which meant that we had to look for alternative facilities for our granddaughter.

Nothing all was amazing

Breakfast is good. The coffee could be a little stronger. Also, it would be nice if kippers, smoked haddock or fish kedgeree were sometimes offered for breakfast. I love the swimming pool and steam room. We also like the cosy bar and the advice about local whiskies that Matthew provided.

My room was rather hot. It would be useful to have 2 keys for a double room. Douglas gave us good advice for the evening location nearby and was very helpful with our boarding pass printing. It was helpful to have the taxi to Glasgow International airport arranged and it all went smoothly. Thank you Cairndale staff!

From the moment we checked in, we hadn’t even got out of the car park with our bags and a lovely lady asked us if we needed help, turned out she was the front desk/manager. The check in staff were superb, room was clean with comfy bed. Lovely man behind the bar and the spa was just incredible. Lovely girl who worked in there from Eastriggs she was just lovely. The best staff I’ve ever experienced on a hotel stay anywhere!

Nice staff, clean & spacious room & good bathroom facilities. Had a 2 hour spa session-very good! Recommend it! Food & drink in bar restaurant very good. Room fittings a little tired & dated but no complaints at all. Would visit again

Got a very much appreciated free room upgrade. the quality of food and the choice was very good. Good breakfast buffet. nice lunch choices and the dinner very good. all staff very pleasant and friendly, and all trained well by a clearly visible supervisory staff.

The new SPA is beautiful. The only downside to it was there is no access to a toilet near the pool area. other than that no negativities.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. We booked the early spa 8 til 10am which was amazing, so new and luxurious. Breakfast is served until 11 am, so we didn't miss it. My two adult daughters and I will definitely go back. Their suite had a TV above the jacuzzi bath and a radii in the mirror which they loved.
