This hotel was the solace we needed. To be honest we've had a string of bad luck since arriving into Santiago. It was only at this hotel that we felt really looked after. The staff and facilities are exceptional. Breakfast buffet is very good, gym and pool was great and top level bar/restaurant was amazing. We wished we had stayed longer.

For foreign visitors please make sure to bring the PDI slip that was given to you at airport customs to hotel so that you don't get charged tax for your stay.

This was our 4th stay at the hotel Solace. Great service with very helpful and friendly staff. Felipe, at the front desk, is great in arranging everything you might have in mind i.e. from a night out in the city to a winery visit. He’s not only very quick, he knows everything. The airport transfers or city transfers organized by the hotel are very reliable and professional. The breakfast buffet is excellent with several breads, cheeses, cold cuts and fresh juice, among other cold and hot choices. The room is nice, spacious and bright. It's always great to go chill out at the rooftop bar upstairs next to the swimming pool. Hotel Solace is excellently located in Providencia and in a quiet area. We'll be certainly coming back again.

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, the hotel gives a young and modern vibe, which I appreciate. The superior king room I had was OK, the hotel seems relatively new, the bed was very comfortable, the hotel is in a nice area within very close proximity to the main street + really appreciated the pool facility. I would recommend this hotel for a stay while in Santiago de Chile.

Even though the hotel seems relatively new, but in parts of the room I was in, it was already showing heavy signs of wear and tear, and also some damp issues (warping in the wall) and also have a damp smell in the bathroom.

Compared to our first stay, the air condition has improved and works now perfectly and silently. It's always great to go chill out at the bar upstairs. Hotel Solace is also very well located in Providencia.

Unfortunately, the bar did not have Gran Torobayo beers available during our stay...

This is a fabulous hotel in a really good location. Modern, clean, really good breakfast and the rooftop bar and pool are fabulous. Nice clean, modern room with a huge picture window and great view. What made it special, though, were the staff. They were all incredibly polite and helpful but special mentions to two superstars: Felipe on reception was super, super helpful and an all-round great guy, and Andy in the rooftop bar was a top guy. Really enjoyed our chats, particularly about football. A mention for Salvador in the bar as well. I loved my four night stay here and would definitely return

Good facilities.

- Lack of details in the room (to be a 5 stars hotel), for example, no toiletries that are expected from that kind of hotel. - Lack of hands sanitizer in the gym, and cleaning wipes for the machines. - The breakfast was good, but it was super annoying not having anything to put the empty sugar packets, or the used tea bags, etc. (Minimum standard) - The staff wasn’t totally skilled for a 5 stars hotel, this could be fix with training about standards. - The rooftop could have a better vibe, not like the TV with football very loud; or listening “rancheras” over the dinner.

Staff in reception, restaurant and housekeeping were amazing, and several were English speakers. Extremely helpful for those of us hopeless linguists. The bar and restaurant on the top floor of the hotel had a relalaxed atmosphere and food quite acceptable. Enjoyed having drinking water, tea and coffee available to guests throughout the day and into the evening. The breakfast included with the room rate was excellent. What a great hotel! We stayed in two rooms - one double twin and one king. The hotel was renovated and we were so excited to have access to an in room espresso machine (with pods) and a latte/espresso machine in the lobby. They also provided FREE sodas and waters in our in room fridge. Breakfast options were the best we had (sausage/eggs/fruit/baked goods buffet) in 2 weeks of travel across Chile/Argentina. The wifi was fast and the pool on the roof was chilly but awesome. We walked 2 min from the hotel to the train and used public transit with no issue. There were also a bunch of restaurants right behind the hotel. I couldn't believe what we got for such a low price. Staff were friendly. This place was awesome.

Very nicely appointed hotel with a great rooftop bar. The staff were very accommodating and undertook to make any special request happen.

There was a very nice doorman who assisted in unloading/loading your luggage at the hotel entry when you arrived or departed, but no bellman to assist with luggage movement to/from your room. My wife is disabled. We travel with 2 wheeled mobility aids plus luggage so having an extra set of hands to assist with luggage movement to/from your room would have been nice. Other than that minor inconvenience it was a very good place to stay.

Location is convenient to explore Santiago. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. There are not many rooms per floor, so the hotel feels not so crowded.

The pool was not very clean. The staff is nor very helpful. We arrived a bit earlier than checkin time and were asked to wait, however other passengers were checked in before us until we noticed. This added 1 hour to our checkin experience. In general the staff looked like they did not like to be there.
