Owners bend their schedule to meet our needs. Brought full dinner to our room both nights. Food prepared with local grown items of Lasithi Plateau harvests. Despite the outside temperature it was very comfortable in the room for two people from Alaska. There was electric blackout blinds on the patio. There was a wash/dry machine for us to catch up on cleaning our travel clothes. The windows had screens to prevent bugs from entering the pristine room. The bed, comforter and pillows were very comfortable and very clean. There is also an elevator to give yourself a break. The Cave of Zeus is a short ways away & shops with local products and the theme park nearby was a nice surprise.

/The room/apartment was beautifully done and extremely comfortable. The view, facing north over the plateau, was stunning but it did mean we got no sun. This was the beginning of October. I didn’t ask how it was at other times of the year. When i asked if we could have some heating on in the evening the wonderful owners sorted it straight away and we were then very cosy. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful. Unfortunately the Dikte cave was closed, exceptionally, but we walked up to it.

I cannot really fault anything. When we wanted to sit in the sun we went to the Taverna!

We loved the breathtaking view on the Lassithi Plateau from the balcony of our bedroom or the restaurant on top. The lodging is brand new (only 2 years of use) and much bigger than what it appears on the pictures. Everything is perfectly clean and well thought of. Plus, it is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer; it is pratical to stay there to wash laundry before continuing with your journey. Emmanuella, the owner of the place and restaurant, is a perfect cook and host; we ate very well! Do not skip out on her meals, they are worth it. She is very warm and welcoming person. We loved the entire family working with Emmanuella. They speak excellent English; making it very easy to communicate. We regret not having spent more time there. If you like to hike in the mountains; this is a perfect place to stay for 3 to 4 days. It can be nice to cool off a little bit in the mountains from the coast temperatures and be away from the crowd. That place will fit these needs. Also, it is only an hour away from Spinaloga and other beaches; it is easy to spend part of the day on the coast and be back for the evening.

The owners of the apartment are very friendly and kind, helpful. Location wasn't as good as we tought it is, as we've had to drive 40 mins to get up to the mountain every time in awful weather, but in good weather condition it would'be been a great place to be. All good in apartmen, comfortable bed, large living room, good four family with children.

This family run hotel and restaurant is over looking a gorgeous plateau, and a quick walk to the cave of Zeus. The apartment like suite was not only spotless and beautiful but had everything you could want with sm kitchen, fireplace, lots of space, balcony and a view die for, even a washer !…Oh and we didn’t even mention the incredible homemade food from the attached restaurant! fresh squeezed pomegranate juice and the best food you’ll have in Crete! Then to add the best for last -the wife , husband and son not only treated us with the best food and stay but generously helped us fix something that came loose on our car by first climbing under to look at it and then sending us to their friend in town , who was then waiting for us . (Cost 2 Euro ) The wife gave us her a greatest gift of hospitality, generousity and kindness even a gift of local plant tea . ALL THIS IN ONE OVER NIGHT STAY ! We can’t say enough praise about our stay in the suite or about the family .We only wish we would have know about this place when we were making our vacation plans, but it was a whim that we choose going the the cave and staying there as a side trip IT WAS THE BEST PART OF OUR TRIP TO CRETE!

We had a fantastic view over the lasithi plateau, rooms were very clean, modern and spatious. The owners are such sweet people, we truly felt welcome and had such nice chats. The same owners also run the adjacent taverna with good food, a great view and splendid breakfast in the morning. We didn’t have a car and as there is no supermarket in the village, the owner provided us with a packed lunch to take on our hike in the mountains. A lot of people visit the nearby Dikti cave, but when the cave closes in the afternoon, the village becomes quiet and these apartments are a true gem in the mountains.

A very comfortable apartment with everything one might need for a stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even though we had to check in quite late in the evening. The complex is located on a hill, so the view from the apartment and the adjacent restaurant was absolutely gorgeous.

The family running the place is incredibly warm — we felt like part of the home. The rooms were large, spotless, and the setting is absolutely stunning. Their on-site tavern served delicious food too. Breakfast was phenomenal! We'd return in a heartbeat.

The view was amazing. The apartment was spacious, clean, and we were very happy with the amenities. The owner family was the kindest and most welcoming.

If I must name something, it's that you have to run the shower for a bit, before warm water comes.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with unbeatable views across the valley. You can cook in the kitchenette if you like, but I don't know why anyone would want to with the fantastic meals just upstairs in the restaurant. Manuela and her family were incredibly hospitable and did a great job making us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The area is very busy and parking before 3:00 pm can be challenging.
