it was good service from the moment we arrived in valet, check in was very easy, the room was very clean, enjoyed the decor from the moment you walk in you just feel special, bathroom was nice, they provide bath robes ( which we LOVED, we had wine and face mask,) the tv is a smart tv no hulu or peacock, we went down for dinner it took a while to get the food ( 1hr+) at 7pm but the food was delicious we both ordered the pork chop, and the breakfast was delicious as well they have the BEST GRITS ! check out was easy as well, you use the QR code to have ur car pulled up, and valet for one night is $37 which isn't bad if you plan on staying nearby or inside the hotel.

probably waiting for dinner, the soup dispenser fell off the wall, and took a while for the water to turn hot.

Consistency over two stays a week apart-June 21 and June 29. Elegant, good food, comfortable, well thought out property; great staff except valet guy 6/21 (see below); nice workout room.

June 21 in the evening—had a very incoherent valet guy. I reported him. He could barely spell my name on the valet ticket, was confused if I was checking in or out; then called my room when I got up there asking if I’d given him the keys. I went back down and by then I saw him drive away. He seemed really, REALLY out of it. Like, he was high as a kite, or was extremely sleep deprived. I reported him because he had no business driving around in anyone’s vehicle. Did not have any issues with the second visit. Valet were different, very coherent, professional people.

Amazing property with valet. Now one of my favorite hotels in this region! Classy! Downtown has been working hard to make it nice and welcoming. Great staff.

The AC was a bit tricky to set. I think the Valet guy Sunday night 6/22 was really high or something. He had a hard time comprehending my name, and then could barely write it on the ticket. Then, called me at my room to ask if I’d given him the car key. I went back down and saw that he had my key, I guess he figured it out.

The food is excellent!

The description of parking vs valet should be clarified. It had a line of cars for valet but no one was there. Then, I drove around and saw that people came to other side. However, I think they only carry luggage. I had to park in a close by parking lot and walk in rain. The guy approached Mr to take my suitcase. I said “no” because I had just walked a block to park. Why pay 30 dollars if they do not park your car? Parking shiukd be clarified . There is no circular path like other places. Other than that, it was excellent.

Absolutely loved The Gregory restaurant - for breakfast in particular, but enjoyed dinner and the bar as well. Fantastic wait staff, very polite and attentive! Big fan of the Belgian waffles on the breakfast menu; great coffee, too. Excellent duo provided live music on the Friday night of our stay. Concierge staff were very helpful, and we were given a wonderful tour of the vault area below the 1st floor.

The only minor quibble was not having a small microwave available for re-heating leftovers kept in the provided refrigerator.

This was such a pleasant surprise. Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Would highly recommend.

The main restaurant the Gregory is in the lounge, dividers should be added to block the checkin desk. Champagne should be stored properly. Staff opened a bottle and the cork flew across the room and champagne exploded. Stored in an area too hot. First world problem but if paying that much you expect a full bottle and correct storage.

The location was great. The room was comfortable. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. The room was clean.

We requested a room overlooking the water. This was ignored. As a top tier member a simple request could have been acknowledged. I asked at check in but the lady wasn’t very interested.

literally too much to list!! the staff let us check in very early, was super friendly once we arrived at the property, mr Billy from the valet parking was a wealth of knowledge about the hotel and city. made even our check out memorable by insisting we check the vault room and replay the scene from fantastic four!!! since we checked in early the only available room was on the second floor. the ladies “cautioned” the room had sky lights but no windows.. we didn’t know what to expect but when we saw the room and how cool the industrial inspired decor was it never hit us there wasn’t windows… basically anyone who hasn’t stayed on the second floor should book a trip just for the experience

nothing!!!! I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in the last many years traveling with my daughters and this hands down was the best hotel with the best staff that we have stayed

The location was very convenient for the graduation we were attending. The former bank building is wonderful, and the Art Deco theme is great! The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

One thing that would have improved the stay would have been a microwave oven in the room.

Very nice hotel. Location was great. Like the way it was decorated. Really like how you need your key card to get in the elevator. Good location within walking distance to various restaurants.

Wish there was a pool. Price is a little high but understand that all prices have gone up because of economy. Would have liked better parking other than valet but there was a parking garage a block away.
