Clean. Convenient and decent location. Friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious food. Laid back but upscale ambiance also yet affordable.

The indoor pool is “closed for the season” along with the outdoor pool which was understandable because its February. One laundry room for 5 floors and it’s “not serviceable” at this time. I wish those things had been better conveyed beforehand as I chose this hotel specifically for those 2 reasons. The carpet could use a spot shampoo due to a couple spills from a previously inconsiderate guest.

Each morning I chose a different breakfast. The chefs are great well plated and great food. And server (Fay) is priceless. She made me feel at home. She treated everyone that way. People at the desk are so helpful with anything you might ask.

I am not sure what could be better. What a neat old/ refurbished hotel. Not many like them any more. It is sad that it is next to abandon motel.

We had booked this hotel to see an american football match at LSU stadium and on arrival at the hotel we asked how we should travel there as we didnt want to drive into town. The manageress called Janet said we'd be unlikely to get a cab and offered to have one of the staff (a young guy called Dontrelle) drive us in her own car to the game! He also came back and collected us after the game in his car and return us to the hotel!! Outstanding customer service and both should be congratulated.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I ordered just sides and it was a good value. Hotel felt safe and clean, room was good.

Lobby bar area is about as ugly and uncomfortable as one could make it. Had to call hotel to tell them I would not be there for the first night and the first person I spoke with was totally out of it. Could not find my reservation. Coffee maker in room did t work. Ordering breakfast is OK, but with the room already very highly priced for the area the food was not a good deal and I only ate there once. Restaurant not very welcoming appearance-wise.

My room was great. Front desk and bar staff were also fantastic. Not totally modern but a well maintained, clean facility with great rooms.

Only thing I can really ding them on is was the overpriced non-complimentary breakfast. The same bland, watery eggs that I'm happy to eat for free all day long ran me $17 here. I would have been better off grabbing some fast food on my way out of town. Also, the elevators are painfully slow. So slow that I still remember it almost 2 weeks later.

The GM was amazing. Very kind and attentive to everyone!

Few of the employees were a little lazy when asked if they would dip the pool they pointed at the net and said no you can. Were very short and snappy with a few other things.

Breakfast was very good. We were surprised to walk into a restaurant and have our order taken. The host was very nice and accommodating. We fully enjoyed our meal.

It was a very good experience.

Location and hospitality!! Best general manager we have ever had at any hotel we have ever stayed at. Mr. Vo!!

I love the building the decor it's absolutely beautiful makes you feel comfortable and classy I love the beds they're super comfortable I don't like the location I mean it's directly next door to a hotel that is known for illegal activity but the staff that checked me in last night was impeccable she was so kind and considerate forgot her name but she worked Saturday night on September 3rd 2022 about 9:30 10:00 check in she was amazing

Very tasty breakfast...in fact the food was delicious....was made to feel very special by the staff that worked the breakfast area.
