Great location, only a ten minute taxi ride from the airport and right on the beach. There are lots of really nice restaurants and cafes a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. Alternatively, grab taxis are extremely cheap. We ate extremely well while we were there. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Bathroom was great with two showers! One indoor and one outdoor. Pool was really nice and seating by the beach was lovely. Cheap beers and 2+1 deal during happy hour! The beach was really fun too. There is some plastic in the ocean, but not too much, and the waves were super fun. Breakfast buffet was great, especially the coffee!

There are some fancier resorts in the area, but for the price I doubt you can do better than this place. Would definitely stay again.

Cottage accommodation was spacious, comfortable and a few steps from the beach, pool and restaurant. The whole atmosphere was warm and friendly. The property is a few minutes walk to a strip of restaurants and shops offering the whole range from street food to luxury dining. We loved it. Phu Quoc is hot with a remarkably uniform climate, reliably 32 degrees C every day at this time of year with warm ocean water and pool. Too warm for many, but not for us!

The lack of espresso coffee in the resort and local restaurants is a shame but can easily be tolerated given the other attractions.

- There was an instance during the night of the International Women's Day when Russian guests (who consider this a very important holiday) got heavily drunk on their patio and were yelling loudly until 3 AM. The staff didn't do anything to correct their behaviour but it was impossible for us to sleep. We were offered another room in the morning upon our complaint, however we expected enforcement of quiet hours as is the proper custom in hotels, especially expected in this rather high level and expensive hotel, not change of room. - Some of the staff spoke highly accented English which was difficult to understand.

Great location right on the beach. Next door to Versailles Mud Baths, so quite convenient for treatments, massages, etc. Excellent facilities and staff, great breakfasts which change daily. Only about 3 ks from the centre of town, so far enough away from the noisy hustle and bustle, but only a $3 grab ride into the action.

The bungalow we booked was described as beachfront, but was actually set back from the beach and behind the pool/pergola area. It didn't face the beachfront, but viewed it from an angle, so the description of our room (#312) was slightly ambiguous. Room #311 next door is more correct as described as a beachfront, my opinion.

Loved that our room wasn't in a building block/apartment style. We had a lovely room just back from the beach, garden views were amazing and we'll kept. Massive and comfortable bed, good sized room and decent bathroom. Resort restaurant was surprisingly good 👍 breakfast was great! Handy to a mini mart across the road. Best coffee on the island at Cafe 1984, 10mins walk (highly recommend the iced coconut coffee). Pool was awesome.

Rubbish in the ocean 🫤 the resort did a good job of picking up what came in. Didn't help that we had reasonably strong westerly winds so rubbish was blown in. Day 3 this cleared.

A truly wonderful property in all respects. You are charmed from the moment you enter this beautiful hotel. You come to Vietnam looking for the opportunity to experience the local culture, cuisine and history (something a shapeless block of concrete will not provide). The Anja Beach Resort & Spa immediately displays the classical architecture and beautiful garden setting you imagined and hoped for. All the rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated with dark wood traditional type furnishings that then compliment the tile and parquetry floors. The bathrooms have both a bath and shower cubicle for added luxury. Everything is spotlessly clean from the manicured gardens to the bungalows, rooms and balconies. The service is outstanding with lovely smiling staff who are both professional and friendly. Special thanks to “Daisy” the Reception supervisor – she went to great lengths to assist us throughout our stay – a wonderful representative for the property! Nothing concerning the property. Unfortunately some of the guests need to learn some courtesy, respect and manners. It proves money does not buy class. All credit to the staff for putting up with these rude peasants!

Great little hotel, there were no crowds or queues anywhere and sunbeds on the beach were always available regardless of the time of the day. Perfect for a relaxing holiday, as there’s no music or parties at the hotel in the evening. Plenty of good restaurants nearby on the main road and along the beach there’s a few massage places. Staff go out of their way to make everyone’s stay very enjoyable. New Year’s Eve dinner was lovely and with plenty of choice, and celebrating on the beach was one of the highlights of our stay. Along with the most amazing sunsets every day!

There could more options of fruit at breakfast, but that could be due to the time of the year. Breakfast is otherwise really nice and the lady at the egg/soup station is very friendly

We stayed our first couple nights in one of their bungalows, so in comparison, the deluxe rooms are smaller, yet the room was spacious. We loved being right at the beach and seeing the beautiful sunsets every night—breakfast included and provided a great variety of food. While the restaurant offers a small selection, everything we tried was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. As a side note, the restaurant and outdoor showers were under construction. They closed the restaurant right after breakfast and were up and running the following day. That is the fastest we have seen a repair take while minimizing the inconvenience to guests. You could still order food to eat by the pool or have it delivered to your room.

Fabulous service.. They think of their guests. Immediately from arriving the receptionist attended to my wound that I had received on the plane due to my eczema.. Restaurant always promptly delivered my food and drinks. Comfortable and clean room. Friendly staff, thoughtful. I have poor knees because of my weight. They noticed me on my first evening struggling up the stairs to my room.. I declined switching my room to downstairs because of the fantastic balcony view. :) Pain is beauty afterall. Wonderful beach and pool experience. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you so much. I will be booking here again in the future shall I return to Phu Quoc!!
