Reception staff were very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Room was clean & comfy. Evening meals very nice. Pool adequate size for a few people at same time & lovely & warm. Great views from bar terrace area.

Noisey doors in corridor at night, they need slow door closures to stop them slamming. Need big sign on pool door to advise its unisex, as there are only two individual private shower/changing cubicles but rest of area is unisex. Personally i thought the cooked breakfast food under buffet warmers could have been hotter as mine was almost cold.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and eager to ensure my stay was perfect. Check-in was quick, and they provided me with useful local tips that enhanced my visit. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, modern furnishings, and a well-equipped bathroom. The little touches, like complimentary toiletries really made a difference. The swimming pool was a standout feature. It was immaculately clean. I enjoyed a relaxing swim and appreciated the serene atmosphere. The hotel also boasts a fantastic gym, fully equipped with everything from cardio machines to free weights, making it ideal for both casual and dedicated fitness enthusiasts. The breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, from freshly baked pastries to hot dishes and a selection of fresh fruits. The quality and selection exceeded my expectations, and it provided the perfect start to each day. What truly impressed me was the value for money. Given the exceptional service, the quality of the room, and the excellent facilities, the price was incredibly reasonable. I’d highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

Nice hotel, staff was friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist. The room was very spacious, and we had a lovely view over the golf course, which was a bonus (thank you!) The water in the pool was nice and warm and the pool stayed open till 9pm. We were able to extend our checkout at a very reasonable price, so we went for a relaxing walk in the morning around the golf course. The hotel was very quiet during our stay, which we liked as well. We enjoyed our stay, thank you :)

There were a couple of things that let the hotel down a bit, there was a lot of dust in the room, bathroom and even in the eating area. There was mould around the shower door, some cobwebs in the room. The swimming pool area had a raw unpainted, water damaged plasterboards on one side, which felt very uninviting.

Location and outlook. quality of room and meals.

1. When checking in it would have been useful to point out where the restaurant was and the alternataives. Receptioist seemed more interested in her hair than her guests. 2. Eventually found restaurant and requested table booking. It seemed only the restaurant manager could do that, and had a long wait for him to arrive. Requested table at 7, but was told it wasn't available so to 7.15 or 7.30. If he had told us the reason (they had a large party booked for 7) we would have chosen to eat earlier rather than have to be served whilst they were trying to look after the party.

We were upgraded to a Superior Double Room, which was a very generous size and very comfortable. Complimentary water bottles and tea/coffee were nice. Nice gym/ sauna/ pool, even though a bit on the small side. Excellent breakfast. We had dinner in the Orangery, which serves good quality 'pub food' and pizza at a very reasonable price.

We had asked for a quiet room, but were close to a family with 4 children, so it was not very quiet. We only stayed for one night, therefore it was not a big problem.

Staff were tops. Breakfast superb. Bedroom was upgraded and good. We had one each! Loved the lookout to golf course...clean, green, well kept. The lifts worked well. While we were in the annexe, it wasn't too far away from main hotel.

We ate only in the orangery as the bar was only for golf members. It was fairly OK and food adequate. Our rooms were very big...but a bit dull and grey. Could do with some bright pictures or wall hangings to make mire cheerful! The TV was fairly ok but really for size of room,..need much bigger screen. 42inch would be better. Weather was not great and we missed the sunshine! Oh, some seats would be good at edge of golf course....just to watch players or to enjoy the wonderful greenery....trees etc.

Room was tidy and presented well.clen pressed linen on bed and heating adequate. Leisure facilities were fine could do with floats ie bar floats etc for non swimmers like me to gain their confidence in the pool.Rececptionists ,bar staff and waiting staffwere kind ,polite and helpful towards their guest's. Food was very good and plenty to eat.I would definitely go and stay there again maybe get upgraded to a bigger double room as leaving a good review.

The wonderful welcome we received at reception from Thomas was a fabulous start. He was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He placed us in a quiet room, away from it all, as he understood we had come away from stress to chill out just for the night. The room was amazing, large, airy, comfortable and with an amazing view. It couldn't have been better. Masses of hanging space, a large bathroom with a separate bath and shower, very comfy beds, chairs and cushions. The restaurant at breakfast was so relaxed, and opened until 10, so we could lie in, just what we needed. Plenty of choice for breakfast too, all with an amazing view of the golf greens. We will definitely be back!

A very minor thing, we had hoped to eat in the night we arrived, but the menu was different to the one on the website, so there wasn't much choice to our liking for non meat eaters, so we went to Tunbridge Wells for an Italian. This is, however, just a matter of taste, not a criticism.

I booked a twin room but initially we were given a double. Then our new room allocation was next to the pool which meant it was quite noisy very early. The air con started up right outside our window and the doors to pool and gym were banging, which woke me up. We ate dinner in the bar and staff were very accommodating. We were disappointed with the food however. Small portions, over cooked fish and expensive. A bit more veg wouldn’t cost a lot and would have made the plate of food seem better value for money. We came to breakfast at 9.30 and the buffet was quite empty already, and wasn’t refilled. We weren’t the last people to arrive either.

I stayed 3 nights 1 st night was in a room with no air conditioning & it was a really hot few days so not the best in those conditions Due to golf weekend 2nd&3rd nights i fortunately moved to a single room in the newer wing which were so much better with full air con & great size room .
