I had a great time staying here – Iku, Raymond, Richard are the best hosts! If you're lucky, you might even have the chance to taste their authentic homemade ramen. The area is very quiet, which allowed me to have the best night's sleep in their comfortable bed. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped, and the shared bathrooms were also kept clean. Their affordable, homestyle breakfast was a great way to start of the day.

Some guests might need a reminder about quiet hours, which is not the hostel's fault.

The Hostel structure and organization have beaten my imagination because this was a test to see if I could book again for a longer stay in the future. Yes, I would always book it again. From the outside serenity of the environment and its quiet location, it is a perfect destination both for short and long stays. It is in the heart of the town with just a 7 min walk to the train station. The inside is quite neat and houses a small store for groceries. The kitchen is well organized with a fridge to store safe food. The staff were quite happy and supportive at all times with a good sense of humor. The heating system is perfect and my room was warm and tidy with clean white bedding and duvet. I had initially booked for the bunk bed in shared rooms, fortunately, my room was upgraded to a small, single-perfect size room which served my purpose. This also beats my imagination at their kind gesture. If you are still in doubt about whether or not to book this hostel, procrastinate no more, it is a perfect place and you will be fine with it and have good value for the amount paid.

The shower is working perfectly well but the ejection speed was slow. If this can be worked, I think it would help a great deal.

The hostel is set in a beautiful location in the middle of the park but ideal also as a 5 minute walk into the town. The owner Richard and all staff are lovely and made me feel very welcome indeed. There is a fully equiped kitchen and fridges, making foid preparation easy and enjoyable. Also a nice dining and lounge area plus garden with tabkes and chairs. Beds are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I stayed in a single room - wonderful! The dorms are also very nice indeed and a chance to meet some amazing people. All in all a great place to stay, relax and enjoy. Train station a 7 minute walk away through the park so very convenient for trains to London/Cambridge.

I loved this cosy little hostel! Super quick trip from Stansted, easy to find in the dark on a Saturday night with no wifi, and a lovely warm welcome. The place has this amazing old-school vibe - books, board games, armchairs, a claw game machine - and everything is squeaky clean. Lovely hosts! Loads of parklands nearby which was perfect for my morning run. And lots of supermarkets within walking distance. I'd def stay here again!

The establishment is clean, nice garden and maintained. The rooms are clean and very nice, shower was excellent. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I'll definitely be back☺️

very nice hostel in a great position (2£ ride from Stansted Airport by bus 510). Fantastic owners. enjoy the private garden, the town park and the pub that's just in front. I've slept in two different rooms and both beds were very comfortable

The location is actually very fascinating. The location is almost dead center of the city. The coolest part is that this puts H.I.H. inside the city's central park. You can walk 5 minutes or less and enjoy everything the park offers. Right next door is great restaurant with outside dining along with bar. The fish and chip were great 👍 The owner and manager were great, plus there's a wonderful backyard area to go and hang out. Jeez, I have visited many hostels, this place reminded me more of home than any other. What a gem of a find. Even getting to the train station was only 15-20 minute walk.

Maybe a little hard to find, don't take a taxi they are bloody expensive. The train or bus is a better option.

For the price it was absolutely enough!! The staff was really friendly and very helpful and the location was just really pretty. Harlow itself is a very charming and especially green little town right outside London and I bet that transportation into the city would've been even better without the train strikes happening on the weekend I visited. The common area was very homey, if a bit cluttered but again in a very charming way - I almost jumped out of my skin and then dissolved into laughter when I only noticed the dalek in the corner of the room when I dropped off my keys to check out!! I could even check in a bit early which was entirely helpful.

It wasn't super squeaky clean but clean enough! I wish maybe one or two towels were provided and that the showers had a place to put one's clothes and towels so they wouldn't get wet on the floor.

Its a very quirky hostel in the middle of a beautiful park with farm animals. Harlow is a very friendly town although it can be a bit rough. The formerly horrific town centre is halfway through being rennovated and already has some really nice parts to it. I've been to over 100 countries and I view Harlow as a very unique, special and authentic place with a strong identity.

Self catering is encouraged by all means. The location is perfect walk to town centre, surrounded by beautiful landscapes of the town park, relaxing pub at doorstep,bus station,train station a walking distance.very good location. Staff very friendly and laidback, easy to sit and have a conversation with others within the property. No noise everybody seemed calm.
