Prices are excellent, I have stayed with my partner for a week. I am so happy we found this place. We felt special from the beginning to the end. The reception was very helpful with lovely and professional staff. The lobby is beautiful with a lots of great drinks. The room was lovely, super clean with stunning views and with the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on! The bathroom with a shower and bathtub was very clean. Our breakfast was fantastic with an abundance of delicious foods and drinks. Dinner had a fantastic menu and scrumptious food served quickly. The live music was delightful with plenty of great songs. The spa was incredibly relaxing with a positive atmosphere and good vibes all around. And let's not forget, all the pools were clean and pleasantly warm. I was so happy with our stay that I was actually sad to leave! Overall, I had the best stay ever in Velingrad and definitely will be back there and will recommend this piece of heaven to everyone’s.

I liked the Gim and politeness of the staff. The food was plenty and different to choose from. The hotel location is good and near downtown.

The shower cabin was leaking, so we were moved to another room. What a surprise that the second room had ever greater problem with leaking shower cabin. I have been charged for a bottle of mineral water even though I did not use any. The hotel was very expensive, so I was not happy with any additional charges, especially fake ones. There was no lift to use to go to a restaurant, so I wander if you are too old or with wheel chair how you are going to get to there to get a dinner. The pools are cleaned once weekly, so at the end week they may be quite murky. There is no entertainment staff in the hotel. There was a female singer for the weekend, but she was so ungifted that I was rather escaping her performances.

Good value for money. We had a nice stay, SPA area and pools are good, with warm water, different temperatures, but all were warm, jacuzzi, saunas, all great. The relax zone was very nice, but unfortunately a lot of people do not have consideration for the others and don’t keep quiet and it really bothered us, that we could not enjoy it and relax. There were a lot of people with little kids and babies, who were screaming. It is good place for families, but if you want to enjoy some quiet time, as we were a group of women without kids, it is not the best place. The massages are great, we really liked the deep tissue and the classical massage. The room was big and comfortable with all you could need. All in all it is one of the nice SPA hotels in Bulgaria.

The restaurant could use a renovation, the style and furniture is a bit outdated. But other than that, the food was very good and at dinner and breakfast the buffet was with a lot of variety and choices and everything was delicious.

The location, and the food

We paid for a few different massages for my birthday, but only one of them was the full-length massage as mentioned. The other three massages were combined into one, yet we were charged for three separate massages. It was very disappointing. Additionally, since it was my birthday, the hotel didn’t offer any kind of complimentary gesture, like a little muffin or something. Genuinely they don’t make you feel very welcomed. This definitely didn’t feel like a 5-star hotel experience.

Location was great for a stroll in the woods or downhill to town when you had enough of the spa. Swimming pools were plenty to choose from and never busy. Food was fresh and tasty. The small things for the kids (slippers, gowns) were appreciated by the little ones a lot.

It would be helpful if food at the buffet in the restaurant was labelled for allergens. I had to ask staff about ingredients as we have coeliac disease in the family and I didn’t feel confident staff knew the ingredients that well. So we had to stick to the obvious gluten free options only.

I had a HUGE room with and ENORMOUS balcony. I thought there was a mistake and went back to the front desk. No mistake! Sat out on the balcony every morning to have coffee and watch the sunrise. The dining patio had excellent food. There was one indoor and one doors pool, plus several mineral baths. I had two incredible massages during my stay (ask for Boris!). A hiking trailhead was within steps of the front lobby doors. Scenery amazing. I will be back!

Great location! Peaceful surroundings within the forest where the hotel is located. Fresh and clean mountain's air perfect for people with respiratory conditions. The SPA was amazing too. The staff were very polite and helpful. The other thing that I can not fault is the food... a rich choice of delicious and quality local cuisine.

There wasn't much that we were not pleased with... just small things that could make a difference. Like for example the fountain in front of the hotel wasn't working, or the 2nd outdoor pool wasn't functional, etc... but overall it is a great place that we will be visiting again!

There are a lot of swimming pools and different SPA rooms. The location is out of the city with a beautiful clean forest next to it, where you can take a walk. Nice big lobby bar with a fireplace and poker tables. Nice big rooms, a big bed and the bathroom was clean and big.

The live music in the restaurant was pretty loud, and the menu did not have a lot of options. The restaurant is a bit expensive for what they offer. We had to wait for a whole day to get a bathrobe replacement. The couch in the room was a little bit dirty.

The food was good and plentiful. There were enough options for every taste. The pools and spa facilities were good. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The view was really good.

The only disappointment was the children play area outside the hotel. The equipment was very tired and some sections even dangerous. On the last day of our stay sections were dismantled, I hope for the whole area to be redone. For a family destination this is important and it will be a shame to leave as it was, as it will overshadow what I can describe and very good hotel in a beautiful location.

Spa facilities and variety of different pools were excellent. Views were amazing and located close to the town.

Spa facilities could do with a revamp. We went 2yrs ago and nothing has been improved in that time. Towels, dressing gowns need replacing and needs redecorating as feels quite dated. Facilities stated a'la carte restaurant this was closed as it was 2yrs ago when we visited. Room facilities stated coffee machine, there wasn't one. Food selection and quality for the buffet was good but not excellent for 5* hotel
