If you are looking for a quaint little place to stay, this is perfect. It has all the expectations that you expect from a quiet country inn but in the city. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was great, the pub area was wonderful. Very nice to have a pint after work or before bed. The rooms were modern updated and so was the bathroom.

Unfortunately I stayed in Rugby during a cold snap and there was no heating in the room at all. So until they get that fixed it is a little chilly in the place. But other than that it's a nice spot

Stayed here a couple of years ago and the rooms were in need of refurbishment. This has recently been completed and the rooms are clean. The hotel is right in the centre of the town, with bars, shops and restaurants all within yards of the property. Parking is available at the Asda car park about 100 yards from the hotel. Scan the parking QR code in reception and pay for your parking via the link for £5 for 24 hours. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I understand from other colleagues that the “cosy” rooms are very small.

I had an upgrade as the television wasn’t working in the first room, the lovely lady on reception immediately offered to upgrade me I loved the room very comfortable, the staff were very helpful. The bathroom was finished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good I had a full English everything was very hot and freshly cooked.

The hotel is undergoing major refurbishment, because the building is so old it was quite rambling and creaky but you could see with the work already completed it will be good when finished. There were no pictures in the room I had, a nice picture and maybe a headboard would just finish it off.

The instructions for the car park does not work when you put in the sat nav. It took me to little chapel street by the marchant pub. Then I was told to put Asda rugby in and I drove around in circles for 20 minutes as that took me in circles Shame as it was so close but hadn’t been to this area before

The location was excellent. Staff friendly and for breakfast there was a good variety. Rooms were clean although on the small side, maybe to be expected with such an old building. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing. Room sizes are due to building structure so can't imagine how they could be changed.

Room was comfortable, on an exceptionally hot couple of days there was little that could be done about the temperature, but the staff offered a room change to a more sheltered side of the building. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and nothing would have been too much trouble.

Couldn't fault a thing.

The reception staff were excellent. Always very helpful and cheerful. I booked a small double bedroom that had already been refurbished. It was very clean and pleasant. The public areas of the hotel are in the process of being refurbished. However, this was not an issue and did not disturb our visit. We shall definitely return here when in this area again.

Room had recently been refurbished so was clean and new with good amenities in terms of tea making facilities. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment. The staff were very helpful with helping me pay for the parking and carrying my suitcase up and down the stairs.

Everything was fine.

lovely clean and modern hotel and rooms. really comfortable beds and very pleasant staff. check in and check out was very simple, great selection of drinks in the room including hot chocolate, a can of water....simple things just make stays more pleasing! would certainly stay again!

Really simple check-in process. Rooms are great and comfortable. Excellent choice of beverages and situated in a good location in the town centre.

Price maybe a little steep for the size of the room (double) and the fact you have to pay an additional £10 to check in early.
