Location was perfect, half an hour away from Silverstone Circuit for the British MotoGP. Our welcome was very friendly, we were booked in and shown to our room by Matthew. Our room was spacious and very clean, the ensuite shower room was huge and again, very clean. They had a South African themed Braai (BBQ) on the Saturday night which we had and it was delicious, along with live music by "Dangerous Derrick" and we were made very welcome by the locals, we had a fab night. All the bar staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't want breakfast the Sunday morning as we were leaving early to get to the circuit so Matthew organized a breakfast box for both of us which was much appreciated (ham & cheese sandwich, pack of crisps, carton of juice and a flapjack bar) that was left in the residents fridge, with our room number on. We had dinner on Sunday night, which once again, was lovely. Service was good and wide choice of wines available. We both had the full English Breakfast on Monday morning which was delicious, good quality bacon, sausage and black pudding. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Wheatsheaf, we wouldn't hesitate to go back if we are visiting the area again.
Nothing in our opinion, we really enjoyed our stay at the Wheatsheaf.

Good B&B. Nice room, comfy bed, satisfactory bathroom with walk-in shower/wet room style. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Food was good. Breakfast included with your stay. Nice pub atmosphere to enjoy in the afternoon and evening. Walking distance to Crick Boat Show.
I have no complaints.

The breakfast was fantastic 😋 a great full English, very well cooked and plenty of it. The breakfast staff were very polite and friendly. Has a nice bar, staff friendly food good as well and not bad value for money.
Not that we didn't like, but for me personally i would have preferred breakfast a touch later, but that's my preference.

Breakfast was fantastic, although starting at 9am was too late for us on our second day. None the less the day we had it is was quite excellent
Very little to criticise. Breakfast started late is only a minor criticism. The room was a bit cold at night but in fairness there was an Amber warning for snow, so to complain would be harsh

A warm welcome with superb food, the staff were amazing, from James keeping our group happy to amazing cocktails by Courtney, apparently it was her first time making them and she did a superb job, just simply perfect. A good selection of ales as well as good prices. The bed was really comfortable and the room felt welcoming

Excellent location just a short distance from m1, perfect for an overnight stop. Good food both evening and breakfast ample parking easy check in and check out
Not too much of a problem for us but room was quite warm overnight as unable to leave window open as no window locks but may be an issue on warm summer night but would not prevent us from staying again

Actually everything. Staff is polite and friendly. Facilities are great. Continuous hot drinks like hot chocolate available any time was the best part. Specious room.
If at all I have to fill this box then I would say uncovered small like 5 steps walk from reception to rooms. But really nothing to complain.

The rooms have been very well thought out and are exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything needed for a short stay. The free fresh coffee was a bonus and available 24/7. The breakfast was good with a good and different variety on the menu.
With only one waitress on duty on the Saturday morning the wait time to be served was overly long. This may be due to the 9am start time and a number of guests arriving at that time. However, once served the service was good.

The staff were great, very attentive, polite, knew where we were and what we needed and just met our every need.
The bed was a little soft, but still reasonably comfortable. We also accidentally got our clothes very wet in the wet room bathroom

Great location in a lovely village. Close to Stanford Hall where we attended the VW Car Show. Secure parking so happy to park our classic cars.
Breakfast on the Sunday should be a bit earlier particularly if there is a major event. The car show was open from 8. In the end they weee prompt at serving at 9 which helped.
