The room was very comfortable and loved the two recliners for watching TV. It was very convenient to restaurants, bars and shops. Loved the door code instead of keys!

The hotel accepts pets, but the grassy area around the hotel is very overgrown and a bit trashy. There is a park (Cooper Park) about 1/2 a mile on the opposite side of the street, near the river that is a good place to go, but a bit of a long walk before bed and first thing in the morning -- wish there was just a better patch of grass nearby.

We’re walkers so the location was great for us. Easy 15 minute walk to the center of town. Parking right out front and easy access to the highway.

We stayed in Room 3. I think being on the 2nd floor might have more road noise from the highway. Didn’t bother us, but if you’re sensitive to noise, I’d suggest a room on the first floor. Also, if you’re expecting something posh, this isn’t it. Perfectly adequate.

Rooms were huge and the beds were comfy, albeit a bit soft. We were in room 8 and the mattress was defective with a huge dip in the middle. We were kindly moved next door which was much better. The kitchenette was great and bathroom very nice. LOVED the coat hooks integrated with the frames. Would love to get some for my home if you can give me the info. The lady overseeing the property was wonderful and the housekeeper was very pleasant as well.

Water pressure in room 9 was horrible for the shower and took well over 5 minutes to get warm. Tv was too small for the distance from the bed.

It was clean, comfortable and had everything I could need. Check in and out was so hassle free;I loved being able to go directly to my room and not have to go to an office first. The room was really cute and i would definitely stay there again!

My only complaint Is that the WiFi was horrible…I liked being able to sign into my own apps for streaming but that and Samsung plus were my only options for t.v. And with the wifi being so bad it was impossible to watch anything because it cut out literally every few minutes.

The location was good. There were restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby and the area was very walkable. There were plenty of towels and toiletries. The room was small but cute, with a little sitting area apart from the bed.

There were some issues, primarily with the lack of hot water for a shower and the lack of places to hang coats or put your suitcase on, but we spoke with the manager, Bethany. She was very nice and apologetic, and assured us that these issues would be addressed for future visitors.

I liked how clean the room was, and the room had a personal ice maker, coffee maker, and fridge. Very clean bathroom!

It wasn't an issue for us, but I think you should advertise that many of the rooms are up a flight of stairs. This is especially important since staff is not on site. I would also rethink the cleaning products so that the Pinesol smell is not so strong. We aired out the room, and then it was better.

The location is great with some restaurants, starbucks, within walking distance. The room was spacious with good beds. There is no reception. Instead, room key codes, etc, were handled through SMS, which was convenient. Free parking at the property.

AC in my room was extremely loud (70dB) and didn't work well. This can be an issue during summer -- not least when forest fires make it hard to keep windows open.

The room was good sized and had a couch as well as a small table and chairs. The bed was very comfotable..

If you have trouble with stairs you would need a ground floor room as there is no elevator. It wasn't a problem for us. We loved the location too. It is across the street from a great bbq restaurant.

Perfect motel operation, and done without staff on site. Access easy with coded door, perfectly presented room with all facilities and instructions humorous and sensible. Excellent position close to Interstate (but no noise) and ideally placed for driving up 14,100 foot Mount Evans - book a timed entry ticket well in advance for that.

It's a bit bleak to arrive at an entirely unstaffed location but don't be put off. The management is done very well and you don't need a desk clerk for this style of operation, the cost is very fair.

Everything was great 👍 Recently remodeled with modern furnishings and touches. The single king room (#8) was huge and had great views! I prefer the location personally - you can access Clear Creek directly across the street. Best BBQ in the state IMHO also located across the street. It's a short drive (3 mins) over to the main area for more bars and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accommodating

Nothing. First time staying here - definitely will not be my last. Excellent little spot!
