From the beginning when we arrived we have luggage service from our car we were help with luggage and taken by electric buggy to our room, the place is all green, lots of palm trees and banana trees ,.mandarin trees ,the place looks better than on the site, food was in abundance with lot of options to chose from, drinks service at table ;the staff was very friendly and helpful ,the service was the best I have seen so far !and this comes from someone who works on the hospitaly industry and traveled so far in 137 countries, desserts made on the spot from scratch with lots to chose from ,enertainement staff was very involved with themed party every night, quality of the drinks was very good for all inclusive I especially enjoyed the Schweppes selection ,management was around all the time checking the quality of product from early morning .For me the best part with sets Melas apart from other locations was the quality of services and the fact that they have bottled sparkling water included in all inclusive available on the beach in the fridge because that's all I drink, also I really enjoyed the beach bar drinks ice cream and Donner kebab with was included in the al inclusive program, pizza available on the afternoon was very tasty. Amazing job ! THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF AND MANAGEMENT for a very relaxing vacation, everything was delightful. I am looking for next time to come here! I will recommend from the heart Melas to all my friends.

Staff not speaking English,,wich I understand because main clientele is German,and I have a suggestion : the ice scoop should be placed into a basket and then in the ice container so the handle touched by bartenders hands does not come into contact with ice so you avoid cross contamination .Another suggestion : there is no need for staff to work in long black pants on such high temperatures ,they can work on shorts so they will not be overheating.

Many thanks to the Melas Holiday Village for our amazing summer holiday! We were satisfied with everything, the room, food, service, the areal of the hotel, distance to the beach and to the centre of Side, evening program in the amphiteatre....everything was perfect. Special thanks to the amazing staff of the hotel! They were so friendly, nice and professional! The funny towel's animals created by the cleaning lady in our room was just an amazing cherry on the top! We can reccomend this hotel to everyone and we would love to come again!

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff very helpfull, even took us to our room on a galf buggy on arrival and check in. The food selection is good and varied, probably aimed more at German visitors than english and our youngest son did struggle food wise, however the quality of what was on offer was good. Drinks as good as any all inclusive we have stayed in. Location is also good walkable distance to the centre of side. All in all a great stay and would recommend.

Nothing, it is worth knowing this hotel is prominently used by german and dutch tourists, this was not an issue at all. All were very friendly.

The hotel gives you a feeling of living in a small international village where everyone is a family or a friend. It has beautifully landscaped gardens and plenty of walking and playing areas. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but are impeccably clean and quiet enough to let you a get good night’s sleep after a day full of sun, beach and great food. The staff, from gardeners, cleaners, waiters and cooks to receptionists and managers are super professional and friendly and work very hard to make sure you have your best vacation. If we are ever going back to Antalya, we are definitely going back to Melas!

Twice a week, there’s a disco with lights in the large open area near the pool that goes on till 11:15 at night. While they play great music and most “villagers” seem to really love it, I wish it ended earlier because some elderly residents found it too loud and disruptive to their bedtime routines.

The village is immaculate. Staff work extremely hard to make sure the whole place is spotless. The village was big enough for us to have space as a family but not overwhelming so that we lost everyone. The kids could go off on their own but we find them easily enough if need be. It was our first all inclusive and food was good. Other reviews said it was repetitive but if you choose a different meal everyday, there’s endless choices. However if you eat like you’re at a buffet then it’s bound to feel repetitive. Staff were accommodating and friendly. We were placed in a different room to our pictures on the booking, they moved us as soon as they could. No where felt too busy considering the village was full. Entertainment was good. Pictures don’t do this resort justice

If I had to find fault, I would say the drinks aren’t great and do get repetitive.

The restaurant building is a little bit old, but it is still great value for money Had issues with air-conditioner noises, but then we upgraded the room, and we're happy with that.

We liked the village concept, our apartment was very comfortable for a family to stay - we were two couples and two small children. We liked the food and the beach very much. We appreciated the different services that the hotel offered - both payable and free. Reception personnel was very helpful, and housekeeping was attentive to our needs.

Staff at the restaurant was not very friendly, especially since hearing that not all of us spoke German. Some waiters were looking to be tipped off after every day of service and disliked visitors with children (of which there were very many, of course).

Excellent pool and slide facilities. Very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. They made lots of effort with the entertainment.

Whilst the location, facilities and staff were very good more effort could have been made separating smokers (of which there seemed to be many) from non-smokers and children, especially around the kids pool areas and restaurant outdoor terrace. We had a two bedroom apartment and would have preferred more than one bathroom/ toilet.

My overall experience was excellent. The beach is clean and sandy compared to the neighboring hotels. The lounge chairs are cleaned upon your arrival. The cold water fridge is located on the beach. No need of walking back to the bar. The room was spacious and AC was excellent. Dinner was clean and the variety of the food is amazing. Every day was a different theme. Stayed there for 8 nights and it was fantastic. Bravo Melas Holiday Village!

The rooms are more village like than in a large hotel, the complex is green and pretty. Though it was full, everything was very clean, service was quick, friendly and helpful, it was quiet, and usually didn't feel crowded. Good food and variety. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, the slides, the beach and more facilities. German oriented, but everyone spoke English and made us feel welcome. Good staff at the reception, very efficient in the dining areas.

We knew there were rocks in the sea, but still managed to hurt ourselves.
