Spaceous room, good beds, great place. The hotel was just refurbished, and it is very well done. Do not know how it was before, but the people who planned and executed this refurbishment have a good feel to make a place feeling comfortable. Congratulations! Also all the staff, who is very competent and friendly, seems to be proud of working there. It feels like their opinion also counted when planning this renovation. Small things like asking each table whether breakfast was fine makes a difference. The reception was fine and we felt welcome.

Property was clean and rooms were great.

We had a long travel day the day before and got in late. Slept to 9am and then went downstairs for breakfast at 9:05am. Didn’t realize that breakfast stopped at 9am, had thought it’d be at least 10am. The gals were cleaning up and putting items away. One of them literally just brought the trays in and I simply asked if I could take two bagels for my daughters who were still upstairs sleeping. The lady said no and breakfast was over. That was a bit disappointing. I wasn’t asking for a full meal or to take a bunch of time, simply asked for two bagels.

Almost everything was perfect, except for one notable exception, and the staff was amazing, friendly, and kind.

I did not appreciate that using the WiFi REQUIRED me to sign up for Hilton promotions and pay a fee. At the rate the hotel charges, basic WiFi should be complementary. I'm fine with paying a premium for premium WiFi, but requiring a membership and extra fees at those rates is just nickel-and-diming your guests.

The breakfast was fabulous and the gal was amazing - fresh muffins and everything was great. The 3rd day, she was off and it wasn’t quite up to par, but still good.

There was a weird, sweet smell in our room that we assumed was cleaning products of some kind. A vanilla candle helped somewhat, but even with no cleaning during our stay, the smell never quite went away.

The breakfast was okay. The Grub hub coupon was great. The clerk who checked us in gave us each a bottle of water and was very welcoming and went out of her way to explain the layout and where our room was. loved the walk-in shower, it was fabulous, the towels were nice and thick, and the water was actually pressurized, I felt as if it really rinsed me off. And my husband actually loved the kitchen. It's nice having silverware, and dishes, and a dishwasher.

Breakfast was okay but they could use an additional waffle maker. By the time our grandson got his waffle made and sat down we were almost finished; but he's 15 so he caught up quick. We did love the kitchen, but the stove; I don't know if it's preset for idiotic guests who don't know how to cook, but it just wouldn't get hot. Of course, the coffee. Why doesn't anyone use Keurig, or at least have a coffee maker that allows you to bring your own coffee? I'm always bringing my French Press, and I love it, but come on, it only makes two cups. My main issue though is the word "suite". To me, the word has always implied separate bedrooms, or at least one. But I may be mistaken.

What a fabulous hotel and pet friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and sitting area in the lobby. The salt water pool was great, the grandkids enjoyed visiting us for a swim. The room had a separate area with a comfortable sofa and chair and TV. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked with toaster, dishes, cookware and full size refrigerator. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely stay again.

Nothing. It was well maintained.

Good healthy options.

I wanted a bathtub. I could not upgrade my room because it was a 3rd party booking. I didn't feel good about that. I would not of know about your property without 3rd party info. I lived in the Rouge Valley for 20 years.

I liked the feeling of security there; I felt as though the staff took care to make sure the guests feel safe. I also enjoyed the generous room size, the amenities such as two desk area.

There was a surface stove, which did not get very hot at all. Mostly, the COFFEE. I don't know why, but out of the 4 or 5 places we stayed, all comparable, only one had a Kureg. The rest didn't even have pretend to have good coffee. If you're going to charge that much, invest in Starbucks or Peets.

Breakfast was outstanding. The person in charge brought out fresh, out of the oven a variety of muffins! This was very thoughtful of this lady! The facilities were very clean, and the food and drinks were kept fresh and current.

I have nothing to suggest here, I actually have no complaints.

Breakfast and mid-week evening reception were great! Staff and housekeeping were professional and welcoming.

The kitchen could have been better equipped. We had a very small unusual assortment of silverware, utensils, cups and glasses. The dishwasher was impossible to figure out. No instructions were provided. The room layout had wasted space and sparse working areas. Though we had a one bedroom, there was just one very small table that had to function as both a desk and eating area. And lastly the WiFi was problematic for the 7 days we stayed there. To log on, we had to first plow through Hilton Honors promotions.
