It was fabulous. The location was perfect. Everything we needed within a couple of hundred yards. The guesthouse was spotlessly clean with a relaxed and friendly vibe. Graham and Kat were the loveliest hosts. Caring, attentive and full of great suggestions regarding parking and places to go. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The rooms were modern, comfortable and came with everything you need including USB chargers and plenty of plug sockets.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. We will definitely be back

Everything. Lovely guesthouse run by two of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting - Graham and Katerina are the perfect combination of professional, humerous and warm. Two fantastic friendly resident cats (Coco and Dave) just add an extra cherry on top! Loved my room right at the top of the house that had the biggest single bed I've encountered in any of the many B&Bs I've stayed in. The room was extremely comfortable with everything you could need. Breakfast was amazing and every scrap was eaten on both days! All in all a perfect stay and I can't wait to come back.

On arrival I received a warm and friendly greeting. The warmth and friendliness was maintained throughout my stay. I was always greeted by name. . I was in the small single which though not actually ensuite it had a private bathroom just down the hall with a shower and to my delight a bath. Lots of hot water. Immaculate bed linen and towels. Comfy bed. The whole guest house is beautifully maintained and clean. Breakfast was perfectly cooked to order. Location is a short walk to the train station and bus station and an even shorter walk to the sea. Lots of eating places nearby. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Would happily stay there again.

The warm welcome from the moment of our arrival set the tone for the week. Graham and Katarina are amazing friendly hosts. The breakfast was always freshly cooked and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable what more could we want. Location was perfect too, 2 minutes to the beach and shops and 5 minutes to the train station. Very child friendly too, my grandchildren were spoilt by Katarina and Graham. We all loved the resident cats Coco and Dave! We will definitley stay here again.

I liked everything! The welcome was warm and my room was great. Really clean and well stocked. The bed was so comfortable I struggled to get up for breakfast! Speaking of which, breakfast was delicious and filling. I was only booked for two nights but ended up staying for four!! I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Paignton! 5 stars!!

Very good location, friendly owners, 2 nice cats! Everything I needed in room. Very good quality breakfast and pleasant breakfast room with view of flowers in front garden. Immaculately clean and traditional b+b ambiance.

No on street parking but knew this in advance so parked in known free parking area about 8 mins walk away. For me the pressure of the shower wasn't very good but have to bear in mind I got very good price so not complaining too much. Not the owners fault but smoking allowed on front patio and 2 smokers sat down there at same time so I had to move away.

The happy and friendly atmosphere. The location was very central and plenty of places to visit close by.

Am so glad I chose this B&B for a little mini break, I received a lovely welcome from Graham and Katrina . My room was spotless and comfortable, there were plenty of choices for breakfast. The town had plenty of shops which was only a five minute walk away, also the trains and buses were very close and frequent.

Very friendly welcoming guests, very close 2-3minutes walk to beach and playground, and shops other 5minutes. Great breakfasts, freshly made. Clean room, bathroom also. Comfortable bed, cozy room. When my daughter had a horrible accident on playground, the owners kindly offered ice lolly for her, and offered help if we needed. Felt like home away from home. We really appreciated it.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect, the weather very hot and there was blackened out curtains and a fan. The bed very comfortable and I slept brilliantly. The breakfast was huge and filled me up for the day. I'll def come back again.

I was staying at The Haldon twice, Friday night and Sunday night. The Host's where very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very nice and the bed, I didn't want to get out of it in the morning, I enjoyed a full English breakfast and other options where available, The Haldon is only around 7 minute's from the Rail Station which is ideal, All amenities where close by..
