Convenience. We've stayed here in the past. Room is comfortable and clean.

The shower - all the showers - should have a safety bar in them for patrons who have slight disabilities that don't require being identified as a handicapped person. Even a healthy person could lose their balance and not have anything to help prevent a fall. There was plenty of room in our room, that the bathroom could have been an extra foot or two wider. It is a bit cumbersome to maneuver in and around the door/toilet area.

They have smoking rooms!! This made my stay much more comfortable and they seem to be one of few hotels in the Cortland area that offer this option. Easy access to NY-11 and I-81, plenty of parking, indoor entry doors for all the rooms, DirecTV with lots of channels, windows with screens that you can actually open. Only a couple miles from the CNY living history museum, Main Street in Cortland (under construction currently in 2023) and Homer, where the annual Brockway truck show is held.

The only minor issues I had were: The bathrooms are small, small enough the sink, vanity mirror and hair dryer are outside the bathroom. Also I miss the carpeted floors from when it was a Days Inn, the floors are now laminate faux wood….which I understand is easier to clean etc. like I said minor things but worth noting.

They let me check in early which is nice, free coffee and tea outside in the lobby. The room was big, lots of room and the bed was comfy. The room was clean The TV has alot of good movie channels and there's alot of channels to choose from which was surprising. Wifi is good and stable

We were struggling to get into our room for a long time, everytime we left the room. The keys take forever to register and unlock the room. Im not sure if it's just room 112 since I've stayed there both times that I've come to this motel but it really sucked. Like honestly if I was being chased by a madman and I had to get into my room to avoid getting killed, well you'd be a dead person due to the faulty keys. I hope they fix this. The sheets weren't clean this 2nd time around.. There were red stains on it and I took pictures of it. Didn't feel good at all There were very loud people banging on our door and making noise in the hallway.. Was disappointing, but they let us check out an hour later to accommodate us, which was still very nice

Staff was great. Very nice and helpful, and they looked out for us. Quiet rooms. Less disturbance from rooms around and above. Good shower. But really outstanding service from front desk, both Friday and Saturday.

Nothing of note. Really enjoyed our stay.

Clean. Quiet. Nice staff. Nice tub. Nice tv. Nice fridge and microwave.

More blankets needed. Better quality towels needed. More and larger trash cans needed. Kleenex needed. Couch not overly comfortable.

As part of a visit to the USA, we booked Motel 6 based on reviews that said the staff were good, the rooms clean, and the building somewhat old-fashioned - as we wanted a motel stay something like motels in older TV shows & movies. Having a railroad nearby was a bonus!

Everything was good.

I neglected to inform at registration, that we had a handicap senior with us. The clerk couldn't give us a handicap room, as they were all booked. But she did move our room closer to the top of the stairs so we didn't have to walk any further than necessary. At checkout, the clerk said more handicap rooms were being added. My handicap father had been having sciatica issues and was afraid he would not be able to rest in the bed, which is why a comfy chair would have been nice. But after icing his back, he laid on the bed and was able to sleep just fine.

Bathroom is extremely small. A large person would have difficulty moving in it. Even though it wasn't designated a handicap room, there could and maybe should be handicap handrails in the shower. There was only one chair- plastic - apparently for the desk. Nothing comfortable.

You can't beat the location-Easy on and off I-81, a gas station across the street and a few breakfast locations about a half mile away. Staff was super friendly, and they called me ahead to notify me about some minor changes with my room.

The room door never locked and it remained unlocked when I got back to my room. Both of the room keys worked but i=they were a tad finnicky.

I really enjoy the customer service and professionalism. I definitely would refer anybody to visit Motel 6 for great prices and service. Thank you very much. Salute

the staff were very friendly and size of room perfect. the beds were comfortable and the coffee bar was delicious :)

that the rates were so jacked up for Graduation events . have stayed here before for under $100 we paid almost double that this time.
