The self pour automated bar area in the lobby was kind of fun. I tried the local cider on tap and it was great. The Cornell decorations were really cute and made it a special place, not just the standard sterile feeling hotel room.

The panel on the wall to control temperature, open/close blinds, control lights, etc. was a great idea, but it was right next to my pillow and the light in my eyes from the glowing numbers of the temperature reading made it hard to sleep. Expect more noise than the standard hotel in the form of hearing every time someone flushes a toilet or runs water. The mattress is extremely soft, like sleeping on a cloud, but not great if you have a bad back.

Visited Cornell for a few days to attend an event and this hotel was ideal. The location is brilliant for access to the campus, and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I visited over the Halloween period, and the communal areas were decorated, which was absolutely lovely. The whole hotel also smells amazing- I had to ask which room fragrance they used! Free tea and coffee are available 24/7 which was brilliant , and the whole place has a very cosy, homely feel. One night I managed to forget my room key and locked myself out, but I called the emergency number and a member of staff arrived within a few minutes to let me in...couldn't recommend this place highly enough, if I ever visit the area in the future I will certainly stay again!

the location was outstanding. it was clean, quite, efficient, comfortable bed and bathroom. the temperature and lighting were adjustable. the toiletries were good. The staff in the evening when we arrived was very helpful and made sure we could get in after hours. we could keep food in a communal fridge which was helpful. there was coffee and tea.

at times there were no staff at the desk to assist. I went by a few times and no one was there and the sign said to call for emergency. It was not clear to me that I had to activate my card in order to purchase drinks.

Location is perfect for visiting Cornell, and room is very nice. I stayed in the top floor, and I prefer my stay here compared to previous stays at the Statler hotel or downtown Hilton. And much cheaper than Statler hotel on campus. But the service is lacking and no breakfast was available- which I don’t need as I prefer to go to college town bagel for breakfast, and so on. Reminds me my old days at Cornell, when I climbed up the little hill to get to the classroom every morning from the west campus. But if one needs conventional convenience of business hotel, this is not for you…

The whole vibe here is amazing if you’re a fan of Cornell. The room and amenities are thoughtfully designed and everything is high quality. I even think some of the furniture is from when it was a dorm for the law school, and I love that’s it’s founded and run by a Hotelie!! I’ve stayed in many nice hotels and air bnbs and this is at the top of my list. The bed is extremely comfortable and the room smells amazing, there are so many small touches that show how much attention to detail was given, like the light switches being reachable from the bed and able to be dimmer or brighter. There is beer on tap down in the main lobby (that you pay for with your key card haha) and a great space to hang out with friends, so many really awesome things I can’t even list them all. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Ithaca.

Might be good to have a fan in the bathroom and the remote for my tv didn’t work, small beans imo compared to how lovely and well curated everything else is.

The hotel has such a cool.vibe! Cornell decor, nice gathering spaces (we spent time in the lobby area and on the deck). Staff was so friendly and helpful! We walked through the Cornell campus from the hotel, Ithaca Falls, and the Commons. Ithaca is VERY HILLY...our legs got quite the workout!

The only thing I can think of is that coffee is available at 8, and that felt late to us since we're early risers, but it wasn't a big deal!

Location is perfect, practically on campus (West Campus), extremely walkable. Beds are very comfortable, facilities are super clean, coffee is +++++. The concept of a dorm-type hotel is quite clever and convenient as they don’t cramp the rooms with unnecessary furniture (using raised beds with large storage under). The room decor is simple, but elegant modern. The wine and beer on tap in the lobby, together with the nice decor (can find Cornell finishing touches everywhere) makes it for a very comfortable evening spent in the lobby outside the room.

The only issue is the noise coming from the upper rooms (if on lower floor), as well as the A/C ventilation system and plumbing. Depending in the room (already have been in about 5 different ones), it can be quite disturbing at night. Also, parking can be a problem if returning to the hotel late in the evening. There is a limited number of parking spots, seems much less than the number of rooms. One may end up parking either on the street (ok from Friday evening to Sunday) or in the adjacent building parking lot.

Very nicely decorated on a Cornell theme (no surprise), an open tab bar which is very varied, and nice after a day of work; access to free coffee in the morning, and hot water all day to make tea, as well as a communal fridge and microwave. Rooms are rather small but well organised. Rather quiet, ample parking and easy access to the Cornell Campus and Ithaca center city. Friendly and polite staff.

The electronics that are supposed to manage the curtains, and other appliances are not always responsive or react strangely. Dommage

No breakfast but morning coffee and small snacks to purchase. This was quite clear with the booking. Staff was friendly and bent over backwards to be helpful such as bringing an extra chair to our room. The common room was wonderful to gather with our friends and to have interesting conversations with fellow guests.

The very high dorm bed was a surprise and took some getting used to. Very comfortable bed though.

Everything was really good for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They did run through all of the hotel's rules and regulations. Checking in and checking out were easy and the bill was settled without fuss.

The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the centre of Ithaca. The size of the bed I guess was standard bunk bed size. Everything in the room was fine and I enjoyed the Cornell memorabilia in the room.
