My wife and I stayed there 4 nights while visiting the Finger Lakes during the leaf season. The rooms have been fully remodeled with new carpet and furniture, refrigerator, microwave, flatscreen TV, and air conditioner. There is a commercial ice machine in the check-in area. The baths were small, but all fixtures were new. The coffee with the continental breakfast was excellent. The new owners have first concentrated on upgrading the rooms.

I suggest they add a bistro table with 2 chairs if someone wants to eat in the room. They also could add some outdoor seating those staying several days.

Staying at the Springwarter Inn was all that we hoped for..The owners were quiet , very pleasant and attentavive. It was a special ocasiones for us and we were given one of their biggest rooms. . It was recently renivated;. Our mattrees and pillows were like home. The room was both clean and comfortable. Breakfast included fresh fruit, coffee, Juice, cereal., bagels etc, ready to eat there or grab and go. The location was near all of Ithiacs. attractions yet quiet and tucked away . We highly recomiend The Springwater Inn and would stay there again. Tks , tks and and more thanks!

Our room was very clean. My husband, daughter, and I spent one night there after a wedding we attended, which was 15 minutes away. We had two queen beds which were very comfortable. There was a big flat screen TV in our room. A new modern spacious bathroom with a hair dryer. A big desk if you needed one. The mini breakfast was just what we needed. It was located in the office area. There was cereal, fruit, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, apple juice. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

I would have preferred a softer blanket but I had brought my own small blanket.Also, I had to click all the channels on the TV to watch something.

When we first arrived at the property, I was somewhat disappointed. It looked a little rundown. I went in to register, and that building was very nice. One of the owners was at the front desk. He was incredibly nice. He explained that his family had recently purchased the property & were renovating the rooms. Our room was very nice, had been updated & very clean. The outside of the motel unit building does need some stucco repair & paint, but don’t let that stop you from staying in this outstanding, well priced option.

Motel building needs updating but rooms are great.

My beloved cat suddenly had to be admitted to the ICU at Cornell Animal Hospital which is just five minutes up the road from the motel but two hours away from my home. I booked one night through Booking but had to extend my stay two more nights to remain close by until he was well enough to go home. The owners were very kind and had no issues accommodating me. The room was very clean, nice, and quiet, had a lot of modern updates, and was very affordable. There was a refrigerator and a microwave which is a must-have for me as I have food allergies that make it somewhat difficult to find food when I'm traveling. Overall, I was grateful to have a pleasant place to stay during an unpleasant situation.

We stopped in to see our son before checking in and we mentioned where we were staying. He referred to it as the Embassy Inn and mentioned how it looked like a d*mp form the road and he wondered who stayed there. Apparently, it has changed hands and new owners have invested in renovations to bring it up to a higher standard; surprised by all the marble in the bathroom. We found it very clean and bed comfortable. It is close to Ithaca but just outside where it is very quiet. It is a motor lodge that met all our expectations.

Limited selection for breakfast, but not much else could have been put into the space available. It was a little pricey, but apparently some events in Ithaca drove all hotel/motel prices up that weekend.

Love the changes made by the new owners. We have stayed here before but it was much nicer this time. If you're looking for a five star hotel this isn't it, however if you want friendly, helpful staff, a clean room, awesome location near cornell, nice basic breakfast and very comfortable beds this is the place. Plenty of drawers, fridge and microwave along with a coffee maker. Even adjusting the heat/cold was easy.

Only concern was the heater/ac unit was covered in what I think was paint, honestly didn't like the way it felt when adjusting the temperature. Would like to have seen that cleaned.

The room was immaculate. The outside is quite dated, but the owner told us that they are working on renovations. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner was in the back of the room, so noise was minimal, and the bathroom was absolutely beautiful! The continental breakfast had a lot of choices between cereal, toast and fruit.

I wish I had known about steps to the second floor. I would have requested a first floor room as I recently had foot surgery. Also, people were outside talking until after midnight. I know they can't be controlled, but it was rude. The price was quite high, but it was the only place in the area. We would go back, but hope the prices come down.

The room was renovated in the past year with all new everything -- new carpet and a new bathroom, etc. The bed was VERY comfortable and the location was very quiet. While there were other guests staying there at the same time as us (including next door), we didn't hear them at all. Everything we needed was in the room, such as a blow dryer, clean towels, soaps and shampoo, iron, ironing board, suitcase stand, a great lighted mirror, lots of outlets, a mini fridge, a large and a large new TV. The location, close to Ithaca College (where we went for graduation) was great -- just 15 minutes down Dryden Rd. There is very accessible parking right outside each unit. The owners were easy to contact via a bell in the office. They were very kind and helpful. They offered great cookies in the office 24/7 and a decent continental breakfast in the mornings (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, bagels, coffee, cereal). I would recommend Springwater Inn!

The TV was new and a little confusing to operate. It would have been helpful to have a written guide on how to find network channels, Netflix, etc.

The room was updated, modern and very clean. The people who ran the Inn were very friendly and helpful.

I paid extra for a deluxe king room and it honestly think I wasted my money. In the room description it said that there was a sofa in the room and there was not. I think it was just slightly larger than a regular king room. Not worth the extra $40 a night. The breakfast was pretty much just bagels, muffins, toast, oatmeal and cereal. The only protein was yogurt and hard boiled eggs. We ended up going out for breakfast our second morning for something more substantial.
