I chose Cayuga Blu b/c it was the lowest priced hotel within 20mins of Ithaca College. I was nervous as I hadnt heard of it before but Im so glad I chose it. Usually I stay at Marriott brands but have not been happy last few times with the cleanliness and they now have hard beds. At Cayuga Blu the room was clean, the staff was friendly and the bed was very comfortable. Yes the bathroom could def. use an update, mostly the shower and toilet. I really dont mind the shower but needs touch up around bottom half of tiles. Only mentioning b/c some ppl will give a hotel terrible review for things like that, it doesnt affect your stay. The shower head also needs to be switched out but it was nice and powerful. Remember I booked this hotel b/c it was cheaper (not cheap just cheaper) so it def. exceeded my expectations and if ever in the area I would def. stay again and recommend to others.

It was very easy to find off of the highway and easy to get around to The Commons area and Ithaca College. It was clean and comfortable and offered a decent free breakfast.

I was taking my daughter to tour colleges - drove up from PA on Saturday morning to see Syracuse, drove to Ithaca that afternoon and checked in at the Cayuga Blu. We went to The Commons area to walk around and have dinner that night, and toured Ithaca the following morning. For our purposes, we liked everything about our stay at Cayuga Blu.

The rooms were very clean. Thr staff was amazingly friendly and the breakfast was delicious. If we are traveling to Ithaca, NY location again, we will definitely be using this hotel again.

I was kind of nervous rhat the building was not secure and anyone could walk in because the doors were not hooked up ro badge only people entering. Also our door had to be pulled shut in order for it ro be completely closed because the door would get stuck on the door casing.

The pool. The indoor pool is heated and the best temperature for me. And there are balls to play with. Me and my family enjoyed the indoor pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shout out to the receptionist (lady) on July 11 around 6pm (sorry I forgot to ask your name), thank you so much for being so nice and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I wish we can come back to Ithaca and we will definitely choose this hotel again❤❤❤

Every one we came across that worked there spoke to us and were friendly and helpful. Especially those at the front desk. We also appreciated how clean they kept the property. We thought the breakfast was very good. It was a nice selection of both hot and cold items which they resupplied constantly. The food was fresh and hot! They also were always checking that there were no spills and food mess along the buffet. The tables were bussed and sanitized quickly to insure that there was plenty of seating.

The building is quite old and the rooms could use a bit of an update. The side doors to enter the building were not locked, for security I wish they had been card swipe entery only.

The hotel was clean and had friendly, helpful staff. The room was comfortable and attractive. I had good control of the room temperature. The room had a desk and a comfortable armchair and a desk chair. The indoor pool was clean and was warm enough.

I visited on a cold January day, and all the public spaces were underheated and chilly--including the indoor pool area. I was disappointed at breakfast. I came during the final hour of breakfast and found only a cold spread with bagels, cold cereal, etc. No eggs or hot dishes. During the half-hour I was in the dining room, no staffers were on hand at all.

The breakfast was very good with both hot and cold options. We had scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, pancakes with syrup as well as some coffee cake. There were bagels available to toast, juices, strawberry yogurts and coffee and teas set up self- serve. Staff was checking on the guests without being intrusive.

The hot water was low in evening and in the morning for showering. There was a sports team in most of the facility, so could have overtaxed the hot water system.

Rooms and grounds were exceptionally clean, and beds were very comfortable. Convenient location just outside Ithaca, with lower rates than hotels in the city itself. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the outdoor pool was lovely. Large, clean grass area surrounding the pool, perfect spot for relaxing or for kids to run around. Loved that the fitness room was available 24 hours and the pool was open late. Housekeeping staff was helpful and respectful of our departure time instead of rushing us out in the morning as often happens in lower-priced facilities. Greatly exceeded my expectations for a mid-priced hotel...we had a great stay!

Some of the outdoor common areas were in need of repair (peeling paint on doors to pool area and broken lampposts). The sauna and both jacuzzis were out of order and looked as though they haven't been in use for quite a while. None of this was a problem, as the listing doesn't mention a suana or jacuzzi, but it would be a nice touch to have those amenities available in the future.

The beds are confortable.

The property is almost okay, but the infrastructure needs to be more polished (painted). The front desk and carpets should be cleaned better; everything looks poorly maintained, and the bathrooms need more cleaning have rust. The picture that you see in the website probably was from the other administration. The price was ok for my needs but I pay almost $200 per night for this type of place.

Location to parks and Cayuga lake wineries was excellent. Facilities needs some upkeep but kept very clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly

Landscaping around the entire hotel over grown Pool was large and clean but courtyard in need of repairs. Just thought for $200 a night, the hotel itself would have been in better shape
