Large quiet room, comfortable bed, good shower (excellent pressure, plenty of hot water, a free-flowing drain and non-skid tub floor), lots of vanity space around the sink, loved the wood floor (so much more sanitary than carpet), easy parking. Mariska and Bethany at the front desk were terrific. We planned to stay in Syracuse but this hotel was a much better value only 30 minutes away.

Extremely hard toilet seat with no lid. Most hotels now have some sort of grab bar in the shower even in non-accessible rooms, but this one didn’t (at least not in the room we stayed in).

Julie was so helpful on check in. She suggested two local restaurants and both were phenomenal. Check-in/out we're smooth, with no issues Our room was wonderful, super clean and cozy. . We will absolutely be back!

The only downside was that we had an adjoining door that wasn't connected with our traveling companion but we could hear everything they were saying when we weren't running the A/C fan on constant. Not bad enough to ruin the stay

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean! We booked for 4 nights and needed to stay an extra night at the last minute and it was no problem! We were there over Thanksgiving and the staff helped us find a place to get a turkey dinner! Convenient location! On other reviews I saw that people had complained about the construction going on late at night..(in a building across the parking lot) you would NOT even know this unless you were outside! Will definitely stay again!

The manager was very friendly. The room was a decent size. The hotel was quiet in the evening. The hotel is located near many fast food chains/restaurants. The hotel is located near Center for the Arts in Homer.

The room could have used a little updating in the bathroom.

The location was perfect. Travelled from Berks County, PA and needed to be close to SUNY Cortland for a men's soccer game. The staff was as friendly and pleasant as could be. Room clean and comfortable.

The pillows seemed...smallish...they were fine for our one night stay so I didn't mention anything to the staff at the time of our stay.

Housekeepers did not clean my room even though the do not disturb sign was placed inside. I stayed for 4 days.

we came here after a booking at the econo lodge down the road went sideways- as in I checked in, walked into my room, and had to threaten to call the police to get my money back. yeah that’s how bad the econo lodge in cortland is. so by contrast this Red Rood Inn was a paradise. friendly desk staff and clean rooms.

our window had a draft all night because the grey stuffing between the glass had come out but that’s not a big deal at all.

My room was cold at first. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The bathroom faucet was a bit loose. Did not know how to turn the sound down on the tv remote.
