Although the hotel needed some renervations, it was very outstanding as far as price, location or value went and allowing my pets to stay free was an absolute bonus I am exceptionally grateful for plus or in addition to this the staff MUST be congratulated for taking so much time in assisting me each and every time I got lost - which was ALOT!! I cannot tell you how important or comforting this was because I am 'old school' not having an updated phone or gps that is trustworthy so being able to phone the front desk as many times as I did for help was BEYOND priceless! Thank you so much!

I wish the pool had been opened but due to the weather understood why it wasn't. Otherwise everything was fantastic!

The young lady at the desk name was Sam she took her time checked us in was made us feel very welcome and help direct us to where we needed to go it was very thankful for her and being so nice I made her take two pictures with me so I would remember her

After paying what seemed a high price there was someone in the lobby that made me feel uncomfortable there were only two towels in my room and when I went down in the morning to ask for three towels it was a problem for the very not nice lady behind the counter and the look she gave me made me feel like we were going to fight and my husband went down and asked about ice and she was not nice to him as well she makes me want to not go back there they can't all be Sam

The room was clean. Overall this last stay was great. People think of they pay less it will be bad but this particular motel 6 overall is probably the best one in the beach. Don't let the elevator fool you. The staff is Usually very great. Accommodating. Friendly.

I stay here regularly and this season I have gotten a couple rooms where the shower was malfunctioning on 3rd floor. It wouldn't come on all the way.

Nice spacious room with working refrigerator and TV - refrigerator was very handy as we bought food home with us. The bed was nice although I wish we had more blankets. Also, they accept dogs and the units are very doggie proof, a must have for us.

The washroom had no soap, shampoo, or bodywash of any sort. There was also no one to ask about it. It was good that we bought the bath stuff with us, including toothpaste and toothsbrushes. No one cleaned our room, but that's expected as we left our dog in the room. Also there wasn't any good coffee on site, but that's ok as there are plenty of breakfast options nearby.

The location is right around the corner from major retail and the interstate heading in either direction you might need, either more towards the beach or back west towards Norfolk/Chesapeake. The grounds were well maintained and the cleaning staff kept all public areas spotless. The front lobby staff was professional, attentive and very responsive. I had a slight issue with the heat not getting warm enough in my first room and the front desk staff moved me immediately to another non-smoking room with no further issues.

The elevator was not working on this visit, but the front desk staff made sure I was fine with being put on a higher floor, which I did prefer. I personally needed the exercise and did not have that much stuff to check in.

There was a dog barking constantly and you could hear the cars going by outside most of the night. My room floor had not been swept or mopped. The sink had toothpaste residue left over on it and residue from something else that was pink. But the staff was very nice and the location was great. The area it was located in was very beautiful.

Clean no bugs Housekeeper Spanish lady straight long hair so sweet ... Staff so nice specially the black gentleman I think he a manager .

No freezer fridgerater no really cold Can't never keep nothing frozen or any ice cream No big fridge No kitchen but I can deal with that but no freezer No microwave in room u gotta walk to office use the microwave

The pool, the ambiance, the location. Everything was nice! For a motel, I would say it has exceeded my expectations and was very wonderful. I would definitely want to book it again in the future. It is pet friendly, so even my dog loved it and he was comfortable with the room as well.

The personnel from the front desk to the housekeeping are all very friendly and helpful when needed.

Virginia doesn't stay warm enough for a year round pool!!!!

Nice beds and a great walk in shower.

The desk staff was rude and not very helpful during check in. The motel seems to be an extended stay motel as well. People coming in and out all during the night.
