This resort is a beautiful serene and relaxing destination, not far from the city. The staff are superb five star quality service in every area of the hotel. They really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and we would definitely return again. The beds were very comfortable and amenities provided in the room with thoughtful. We particularly loved the garden view room on the ground floor that stepped out onto a lovely lawn towards the pool and Marina. We were surprised and delighted by the abundance of wildlife and bird song in particular the kangaroos who make themselves at home all over the property. Close to the hotel is a marina, village with shops and restaurants and hotel offers a free golf cart ride just a few minutes away to explore the area.

The bedding was not clean. Pillow cases smelt like saliva and no flat sheet just a thicker sheet on top.lookslike staff did not replace the bedding. Very very disappointed. I didn't stay at the hotel only my family and I was very angry they didnt call housekeeping at 11pm at night. Saturday the driver who took my family back to the car was speeding in the golf cart. When my dad asked him to slow down he ignored my dad and then my dad had to ask him excuse me do you understand english then he answered but continued to speed. People can fall out and get killed and we had small children and my parents who are in their 70s. Drivers need to be told to slow down.

The buffet breakfast was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pools and surrounding gardens were lovely with kangaroos Infront of our room. Walking distance to Sanctury cove Shops and golf courses. We were spoilt with a bottle of bubbles on arrival in our room as we mentioned it was a special occasion! This was a nice touch:)

The rooms were located separately from the reception which was ok until it rained! A covered walkway would have been nice - especially when I had just dressed up to go out for dinner and done my hair. There were no umbrellas at all in our room. Maybe

The location, the food, the facilities, the staff, the food were all amazing. It has excellent customer service, as every staff member was very accommodating. The gardens were immaculate, the fridge, tea & coffee, bathroom supplies were fully stocked. We both really loved the breakfast buffet, the pool bar pizza tasted so good and the dinner at the Fireplace restaurant was amazing. The staff at the restaurant were extremely attentive. We were given a lift on the golf cart to the local village, which we both appreciated.

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Dinner at Fireplace was really lovely for our anniversary. The food was delicious and Dee was exceptionally friendly and provide great service.

Shampoo and conditioner attached to wall in the shower, so out of reach for taking a bath unfortunately. On arrival at Country Club to use the sauna, my husband was informed he needed to have brought a towel and a deposit for a locker. The staff member on duty reluctantly found a towel for him as he wasn't aware of this before heading there. There was no cold water available or bags for wet swimmers, unusual for a leisure club.

Club lounge and high tea and cocktails. The complimentary wine and handmade chocolates for birthday celebration with card was fab. The cockatoos, bats and kangaroos. The awesome lagoon.

Vegetarian option for high tea was a cold aubergine sandwich!!! Then canapés was aubergine on a stick! Both disgusting. When you are a vegetarian it does not mean you would suddenly like to eat gross cold filthsome aubergine! I HATE aubergine as does every vegetarian I’ve ever known. Don’t punish us for our ethics!

The rooms were really lovely - clean, bright and modern. The staff were amazing, especially at breakfast and when we checked out. Would definitely come back to stay at the InterContinental. Our breakfast was included in the price and was absolutely amazing! We used to be taken by buggy to the restaurants at Sanctuary Cove and the guys dropping us off and picking us up were incredible and so friendly and helpful.

Perhaps could do with a bit of updating in certain areas. A bit understaffed in the bar area and unfortunately we would not recommend The Fireplace restaurant. Food was average the the 2 young waitresses were doing their best, but the 2 people (chefs) behind the counter where the fireplace is looked like they really didn’t want to be at work!

Check-in very efficient. Room was brilliant - much larger than I was expecting. Facilities are excellent, lots of choices. Very professional and friendly staff, particularly the pool/lagoon waitstaff. Food and drink selections were very good.

The water in the lagoon pool could have been a little cleaner. The breakfast service was very hectic - obviously peak time for groups of families.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Beautiful place to stay. We had a dinner package and due to a function being on we had to change restaurants. When we arrived at new restaurant it was full, Cedric served us and we told him about the package. We sat at the bar got complimentary drinks while we waited and ended up in a private room for dinner. Cedric went above and beyond, checked on us regularly throughout dinner. Very impressed with the service.

Close to restaurants and the marina, beautiful pool, service was impressive and services were excellent. The toiletries were very high end and we liked the app service to be able to order additional pillows and towels on demand.

There was no dedicated baby pool, however the lagoon style beach pool catered for this. The sun lounges are fixed (cannot be moved to lay flat etc)
