Lots on offer for families or couples. The restaurant staff outstanding. Food was amazing… cocktails delightful, a little pricey but delicious. Heaps of activities to do or you can do nothing. We loved it.

Poor house cleaning, our shower had sand on the bottom and we hadn’t been near sand. The shower head was disgusting and old. Sprayed everywhere but on you due to being so dirty and old. The glass toilet door almost off the hinge. They advertise fishing but don’t sell bait.

The accommodation was clean and appropriate.

There were not many facilities functioning or available to us. The playground was in disrepair. Only the pools were open and they weren't ideal due to the weather, but were lovely when the sun was out. No bikes were available to ride to the beach.

Lovely remote location. Beautiful natural setting with wild life running free. Lovely apartments. Well equipped. Good facilities. Most staff were lovely and helpful

The receptionist was particularly unhelpful. Other staff were lovely. No information provided and no packs in apartments to help inform you. No shop for food or other essentials. Ferries are expensive and irregular. Very short staffed and looking a little run down. No opening times kept! Cafe was ad-hoc.

The island's views are breathtaking. We're nature lovers and it's just amazing to be in an island surrounded by water, then in the island, the Couran Cove Resort is just spectacular!!! It's not perfect, as it does need a lot of maintenance to be done to have the place brought back to a lovely paradise. Certain places look run down, apparently due to the Covid, as the place was shut down at the time? It could do some TLC, but still looks spectacular!! A lot of activities are on offer, putt putt golf could be revived, etc...But, the resort has A LOT TO OFFER!! I do recommend the place, and definitely, it's VALUE FOR MONEY!!!

Staff can be a little bit more accommodating with a smile. Lady receptionist was very formal, as she was not in a welcoming mood to us, probably as we arrived late about 9pm?

We went over to Couran Cove on our Jet Ski's, was a rainy weekend, but an amazing run over & back, staff were so helpful, ended up having our room at bit earlier than thought. Room was extra large, private balcony and everything that you could want. Pizzas were the best and excellent bar service. Yummy coffees and breakfast. Yep the place is run down in some parts, but very understandable that Covid hit them like everyone else. The rain didn't stop us from going on a bush walk over to the surfside. Met a few locals and they were just welcoming people. Have just booked again for xmas and will be taking the grandchildren, great pool area and plenty to do for family's.

I had nothing to complain about

The resort was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful, I have seen a lot of bad reviews but it is obvious the resort has gone through some hard times so people need to keep that in mind, they are now working very hard to bring it back to its former glory

There was nothing I didn’t like

Loved the room - so spacious and comfortable. It had everything we wanted although we didn't use many of the facilities. Lovely balcony area too! Overall the studio we had was great... better than we expected! The main swimming pool was beautiful day and night! The surrounding areas were also lovely. I would like to stay here again and explore more riding a bicycle or just walking.

The customer service needs improvement. Staff need to be more attentive, SMILE, be welcoming and knowledgeable of what the resort offers or doesn't offer - this is particularly important for staff at the reception desk. It would have helped us to know that we needed to book our return ferry trip when we made arrangements over the phone - we ended up paying a lot more as we had to organise a water taxi [ourselves]. The food served for dinner could be improved (the chicken doesn't need to be cut up in cubes for adults!).

Kayaking, tennis, putt putt, rainforest, friendly staff in the game room.

It would be good if there was a designated parking area for guest on the mainland. Else, you just worry about your car. Food can be better. Not many options. The staff just did the bare minimum. A little smile and thank you would go a long way.

So relaxing and quiet, lots to do , and doing nothing was a great choice too because there were so many beautiful spots to do it, very relaxing. The Sunset Bar was fantastic!

It need a good tidy up and lots of love. The property was fine but it was obvious it lacked attention.

proximity to Gold Coast vast activities on offer and food choices. accommodation was extremely generous with lots of extra options.

early days as we are all coming out of covid but can see the resort up to high capacity in a short amount of time this will offer more activities.
