The room was what I expected it to be. I arrived too early to check in, they minded my luggage. while I went and did what I came to Runaway Bay to do. I arrived back way after the reception hours, but the manager was still there to check me in.

The hot water was only luke-warm. I was only there one night. I mentioned this to the manager as I left. I don't know whether it will be attended to. I find that when many places have minor issues like this, previous guests have failed to mention it, so it never gets fixed. I won't know if they fix this, but you might.

This is a very clean, quiet, neat and tidy motel with super helpful staff who contact you ahead of check-in to make sure everything runs smoothly. There is ample parking (though anyone with a trailer would need to park on the street). The room was large and comfortable and had a mini kitchen which was a bonus (will use it next time). The property and the room was immaculate - even though the building might be 10 or more years old it feels very well maintained and almost new (or recently renovated). It’s located in a quiet residential street so not much noise from traffic. And the motel has a strict no noise/no parties policy among guests, which you find out about once you book. This was good news for me because I needed plenty of rest for the next day. And indeed it was quiet. No noisy neighbours. Great sleep.

Oddly, there is no powerpoint next to the bed so bring an extension cord for your phone charger or CPAP machine. I couldn’t find the remote for the air conditioning but the weather was mild in the evening at this time of year so fortunately I didn’t need it. But it would have been good to have the peace of mind. Perhaps the remote for the AC is only left out in summer.

Our unit was so spacious - a very comfortable sofa, a kitchenette with a table and chairs, good size lounge/bed area. A cheerful welcome in the office also. Our unit was in a tidy and pristine condition, and after a long hot drive in traffic congestion, the jug of cold water in the fridge waiting for us was very very welcome. We also liked the location, away from the busier parts of the Gold Coast but with a car still handy to amenities.

We've stayed here a couple of times and absolutely enjoyed it. It's nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to everything and the motor way. Harbourtown is only a few minutes drive too. It was clean, tidy and quite roomy. The staff were lovely, helpful, and happy to answer my many, many questions! All the extras we needed, and our early check in were no hassle at all either. We were so happy with our stay and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend this place for families.

Very spacious room with little Kitchenette. Very, although old, well maintained rooms. Free parking space in front of the room. Personal and friendly service.

It is a bit like going back in time. That said, it is very well maintained and not worn out. The AC can not be controlled individually which is not that much of a problem once you are in the room for a while but as you can only turn it on upon arrival, it takes a while to cool down the room.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Lovely staff especially the grounds man we met by the pool, he got us chairs and chatted about working at the motel and was so friendly- the beds were comfortable- the only suggestion we have is to have Netflix or another streaming service for watching - it was very rainy in the evening so the ability to watch a movie would have been great 👍

Perfect for our stay. We did the Tri Pink at the GC Performance Centre - the motor inn was so close. There were also various food options and the shopping centre close by. The room was much bigger than expected. The whole place was really clean and tidy. Pool was amazing!

Better lighting in the bathroom; pebblecrete around the pool is quite rough and painful to walk on barefoot.

Everything was clean and tidy and super comfortable. I loved the bed! It's situated in a nice area close to many attractions. I'm a country girl and not at all use to traffic noises so I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. The pool was amazing and so was the spa, everything just felt a little bit fancy 😀

There wasn't anything I didn't like other than our stay wasn't long enough.

The room was a bit outdated but comfortable and clean. The guy in reception was great for fixing a slight problem I had with no issues at all.. Nice and quiet area..

Having to pay $200 security deposit that I'm not going to receive back for a week. It should come back to me immediately after my room inspection..

Close to a variety of shops and theme parks. The staff were amazing, Trish rang to make sure we were ok on arrival day and our room was made up each day we stayed. Free outside parking was available.

Internet WiFi was not the best, and we chose not to use it. When it rained, the tiles were slippery on the pathway.
