I recently stayed at the Chaiya Palace Hotel during my visit to Phnom Penh. This hotel is the perfect blend of comfort and style, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the city just down the road from the Riverside walk and the Royal Palace and a short tuk tuk trip to other attractions. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a lovely private balcony that offered refreshing views out to the river. One of the highlights after being out in the heat of the day sightseeing was the infinity pool, which boasts stunning 360-degree views of Phnom Penh and the Chaktomuk River. It was the perfect place to unwind, although I did notice that there aren't many loungers available, so plan accordingly if you want to secure a spot. Breakfast at the Savory Restaurant was great with a selection of off the menu items. We also took the opportunity to enjoy some evening drinks at the rooftop Sky Bar/ Pool. Overall, my experience at Chaiya Palace Hotel was wonderful, this hotel provides comfort and a great location to explore all that Phnom Penh has to offer. Highly recommended!

This is a brand new hotel, so all the amenities are excellent. The rooms are modern, spacious with balcony views of river/city. Another highlight is the roof top pool. It’s a must visit . Location is 10/10, right in the centre of city, walking distance to the river and and shopping malls. On the customer service- it’s the best we have ever experienced. Every person was courteous, friendly and went beyond their jobs to cater for us. Mr Kim the manager looked after us, resulting in long term friendships. It was my 50th Birthday, Thanks to Chaiya Palace staff for the surprise!!!!

The Chaiya Palace hotel was fantastic & exceeded our expectations . Lovely decor starting with the very stylish reception area. Bedroom was large, clean & well appointed with a great view of the city (11th floor) Breakfast was lovely. The dining area was beautifully furnished. Great waiter ready to help. Good selection - few buffet staples (bread, pastries, yoghurt, fruit & salad etc) And you can then also order off the Ala Carte menu, freshly cooked to order (eggs, bacon & noodles) Rooftop pool was lovely. Great place to relax & again some great views available. Location of hotel was great for us. Short walk to the Grand Palace, restaurants and bars. Staff were exceptional, couldn’t do enough for us to make sure our stay/experience was the best it could be. Kim, Sam & all his team were professional, efficient and helpful advising us on places to visit & organising our Tuk Tuk rides with reliable drivers. Definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. You won’t regret it.

The room is exactly like in the picture and it was quite big. The hotel is brand new and very clean. It is also very quiet which is very important for us. The view from the 11th floor was very beautiful. The manager Kim was the best hotel manager I have ever seen. He is so helpful and kind, we had such a warm welcome. He even gave us a complimentary breakfast for 10days which was exceptional. I would stay here again and definitely recommend this place :) Hotel staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a very nice stay!

I loved everything about this hotel. The location was excellent, quiet but central. The staff were amazing, every one of them, so helpful and happy. Breakfast was perfect and cocktails on the roof at night were a wonderful end to each evening in Phnom Penh

Not so much as didn't like but perhaps an information folder in the room or on the TV with room service menu and hotel info and maybe a map of the area etc might be a good idea. Just an observation, not a criticism

The friendliness and hospitality of the staff is something comforting when visiting a new country. They checked in on us everytime we were leaving and arriving back at hotel. The room is clean with comfortable bed, and the tv has so many channels available! Toilet has bidet shower sprayer too! It is easy to travel to places of interests as everything is nearby. we took less than 10 mins to all halal food places that we intended to visit. Also short distance to the royal palace and the silver pagoda!

It was really wonderful spending one night in the Chaiya Palace Hotel. It was definitely the greatest hotel I have ever been at overall. What impressed me the most was the excellent service and the warmth of every employee I came across, thank you to Savuth at the restaurant breakfast, Sophea for the evening receptionist and Kim. The hotel strives to make every aspect of your stay as seamless and enjoyable as it can be. Furthermore, the entire complex exudes beauty. The infinity rooftop pool was my favourite feature. There's nothing better for a lazy afternoon. The cuisine was also really good, both in the restaurants and on room service.

The property is brand new opening on 1 Jun 24. It has been finished to a very high standard throughout and my room was brilliant. I had evening views of BKK1, the independent Monument, Wot Botum and Nagaworld Casino. The hotel is literally 500m from the Royal Palace and an easy walk to riverside or Aeon Mall. It is also surrounded by many small traders, one of mention is Brown Coffee straight opposite. The staff were excellent and could not help me enough and the welcome I received on arrival was fantastic. The surrounding area around the hotel including the streets are well lit and locals were very welcoming. The pool, dining room and bar provided some great views of the city and of the river. Great place from top to bottom. Definitely stay there again.

My most recent visit to the Chaiya Palace Hotel was a true work of hospitality deserving of five stars. I was welcomed by an atmosphere of unrivalled tranquility and elegant grandeur as soon as I arrived at the home. Every area of the hotel has been meticulously designed with amazing attention to detail. Modern comforts and classic style are harmoniously combined in the tastefully furnished rooms. The Infinity Rooftop swimming pool is wonderful and relax. This hotel is absolutely unique due to the sincere kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and above of its staff. Every encounter, be it the quick room service, the attentive advice from the receptionist, or the easy check-in procedure, demonstrated their dedication to making guests feel at home. I would like to express my gratitude to the gracious and amiable property owners.

The location of any City hotel is key and the Chaiya is situated in a quiet road with easy access to the essentials of coffee shop, restaurant, bar, and mini-mart. A short taxi or tuk-tuk ride will take you to the Riverside area, where numerous restaurants and bars await you. I actually stayed for two nights at the Chaiya hotel and ate in the hotel restaurant on my second night. A local Cambodian dish called Beef Lok Lak which was delicious and consumed whilst admiring the amazing views of Phnom Penh City lit up at night. The hotel itself is stylish modern and classy with comfort and cleanliness a priority. The owners have furnished the reception areas and dining room with some beautiful Khmer exhibits, art work and artefacts. The rooftop infinity swimming pool is a delight, and again the City views are incredible. I stayed in a spacious comfortable room with large bed, table and chairs, a lounger, a balcony, plenty of room for luggage and powerful air-con if required.

The Sky Bar was closed, but only because they were applying some finishing touches to it. I was assured it would be open in a day or so. My partner and I sat outside on the floor below (the restaurant floor) and took in the evening air with a house cocktail and cold beer.
