Very friendly receptionist, checked in around 1am. Check in was fast. Room was very clean and it smelt like it was cleaned.

Didn’t like being rushed out of room by 10min to 11am check out. Knocked 3x on door before 11am check out to get us out our room. And Hotel is right near the highway, so it is loud in the mornings.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the hotel staff was very accommodating when we needed to have a late checkout after running our marathon saturday morning.

I like the fact that the location was right off the freeway. You didn't have to go far for food. There was plenty of options around that location if you wanted You didn't have to go far for food. Was not really anything I did not like about the place? I had a little incident the day I was leaving though. As I was gathering at my things making sure I did not leave anything. I accidentally hit the microwave. And it turned on There was something in the microwave that I did not put in there and it caught on fire. I had to grab it. And put the fire out that was not cool at 7 in the morning.

It was close to Clearwater Assisted Living which I wanted. For the nightly rate, I don’t expect they are deep cleaning the rooms often, and the daily housekeepers do their jobs well, but it did seem like my room needed a little more of a thorough going-over. The shower drain didn’t work the first night, but when I alerted the front desk, they promptly fixed the issue. For a comfortable bed and private bathroom, this was a good hotel and I would stay again, but I can only give an average rating for cleanliness. Again, not a daily housekeeping problem, but more of an issue of the hotel being overdue for a more thorough cleaning.

The room was adequate, though I noted debris on the floor in the corners near the bed, and a sticky spot in the carpet in front of the night stand.

The price was way too expensive. I arrived in town in late Eve looking for overnight accommodations. Staff got me in quickly. I regret stopping in Phoenix had I known how expensive accommodations were. Almost 200 dollars for one room is too much. I would have at stayed on outskirts of town had I known. I’d never been to phoenix but I learned a lesson. Also the food choices appeared unappetizing. No fresh or nutritious choices. The lobby area couldn’t accommodate the amount of people wanting to eat and sit. and I couldn’t find anyplace to sit at all after checking out . That also made the high price frustrating when I couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast. So I gave up and went to Cracker Barrel next door.

Clean and comfortable. Good area.

We had no hot water for a December stay.
