The building was cool and we enjoyed hanging out by the fireplace in the lobby. We had a room with an ocean view, which was really nice. It was convenient to be able to walk everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The voucher for the coffee shop was an awesome bonus.

The hotel website specifically says there’s live entertainment on the weekends in the off season, but we were told that’s during peak season only. Very disappointing since that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The room was nice but more furniture to put our stuff on would have been good - especially night stands next to the bed.

You cannot beat the location and the view! We could see the water while laying in bed, and it was nice to grab a coffee and go sit on the beach early in the morning. The mattress felt new and firm. The walls, sheets and towels are all a lovely crisp white. The mini split kept us warm on a cold night. On a warm night we cracked the window for the fresh ocean breeze.

The building is old and Victorian. The woodwork and tin tiles in the bathroom are very pretty, but the slight slope to the floors is a bit disconcerting until you get used to it.

Location, history, parking, and staff. It was great that we were given coupons for breakfast, free rental of chairs and umbrella for beach, and beach tags. We also enjoyed the fire pits and comfy sofas in the yard to wind down with a glass of wine and chat.

I didn’t like that I had to rent a refrigerator for the room, but even with that I thought the price of that was too much. I was glad to that we got two beach tags, but there were three of us. The only other thing was the price, but you couldn’t beat the location. I am usually a bargain traveler, so it bothered me to pay so much. However, we were traveling with family who needed to stay somewhere with a kitchen in there room, we wanted to be close and that hotel didn’t have any rooms that could accommodate us, so we decided that we’d stay at the Inn.

1. Location was perfect. 2. Free parking. 3. During our stay in December, during the holidays, the breakfast in the dining room on the weekend was great; however, on Monday morning, there was limited amounts and selections of breakfast items available. 4. Staff was very helpful.

1. The Noise! Our room was on the 2nd floor above the lobby and it was very noisy in the evening (past 11:00 pm), preventing us from sleeping. The staff said they asked people to be more quiet, but they didn't listen. I would stay at the Inn again only if I could request a room away from the front staircase. 2. Suggestions: a. Put up signs throughout the lobby designating 'quiet time' for guests during a specific time, for example, 11:00 pm-8:00 am. b. Have a hot water dispenser available for guest who want to brew their own cup of tea or other hot beverage. It was not convenient asking staff to leave the front desk to get hot water from the kitchen.

The staff was great. Anna in the restaurant and Jason at the door were exceptional. The front desk staff were also friendly and knowledgeable. The beach tags and chair/umbrella rental that was included with the room was great. Also the breakfast vouchers were nice as well.

The coffee flag out front detracted from the ambiance of the Inn. Did not like that at all. Our room was 225 and the door to the porch area was stuck closed when guests tried to get back in. I had to leave my room to let them in more than once.

The location was amazing and the place was so charming. Definitely a bit of history. Loved the fact that it had a restaurant and bar on-site and was very walkable to the "touristy" areas. Lot's of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as the water. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great gathering spaces, too.

Parking was across the street in a gravel lot, which I completely understand given the location and history of the hotel. But, that made loading and unloading a little difficult -- you had to pull your car up to the property's loading / unloading zone, then park across the street. Just a little bit of maneuvering involved, but certainly doable.

The room was great, they gave us a portable air conditioner which we used and it worked perfectly. The location is great and we enjoyed each meal and the facilities.

I didn't like that the cleaning services did not end up coming to clean our room. The cleaning women left all of their supplies along the wall outside our door all day. When we came back late afternoon to relax before a wedding, they were extremely loud outside our door. My only real complaint is that the walls are paper thin and since our room happened to be near the stair case and the elevator, you literally heard everything even if people weren't being loud. The walls are paper thin.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely historical building. Delicious food and beverages at Hotel Bar/cafe. Welcoming and attentive staff. Excellent location. Classic midcentury lobby decor. Tiny, human powered elevator was reminiscent of a Wes Anderson film.

Walking steps was challenging if you are injured.

The service was excellent. Everyone was very attentive to our needs.

Missing amenities in the room , like coffee and a refrigerator and a desk. The shower head needs to be replaced, the bathroom is very small. Every time you need to use the elevator, which is very old, you need to have someone to take you to the floor. Everyone was very quick to come and take you but you still need to have a person to give you the ride.

definitely nostalgic, old style elevator and staff were required to use key and move it up and down. this was fun. the food was delicious and in Ocean 7 restaurant. the pool was good size and clean. beach badges and chair and umbrella included in price.

the bathroom was smaller than i like and the floor in the room was slanted as to where you felt the down hill and up hill walk from bathroom to to exit door.
