A good place to stay when visiting Bratislava, very good value. It is not in walking distance to town center but Uber ride is $5. Breakfast has a lot of choices, quite delicious.

Room is a little bit small. Not free parking but price is reasonable.

I was genuinely surprised by how good and comfortable this hotel was. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, but when my friend and I arrived, we were pleasantly surprised and ended up really enjoying our stay. Although the hotel is not located right in the city centre, you do need to take a bus or taxi to get around, it’s still a more affordable option and is situated in a calm, quiet neighborhood, which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We loved it and ended up eating quite a lot. There were so many fresh and delicious options to choose from, including amazing cakes and my personal favorite—the omelette with ham and cheese. Dinner was equally impressive: elegant and well presented, with a great menu to choose from. We arrived a bit late, after 9:30 PM, but the staff were still incredibly kind, professional, and flexible. They didn’t show any rush or frustration even though their shift was ending, which we really appreciated. The cleanliness was also top-notch. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bed sheets, and the floor was vacuumed as well. Honestly, I have no complaints at all. It was a great experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back soon.

The only point I would mention is that during our first two nights, we had a less pleasant experience due to noise. There were large groups of children, possibly school groups, who were quite loud during breakfast and in the corridors. It seemed like there were professionals responsible for them, but still, the noise affected our experience, especially during breakfast and even more during dinner time. For the price my friend and I paid, we feel the hotel could offer a better level of organisation when hosting large groups, so other guests don’t feel uncomfortable or disrupted. A bit more separation or planning could really help maintain a relaxing atmosphere for everyone.

"The rooms were nice and comfortable, though the couch wasn't prepared upon arrival, but staff addressed this issue promptly. One drawback was the confusing layout of elevators and stairways, which made navigation within the hotel somewhat challenging. On a positive note, the breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Location-wise, the hotel sits in the broader center area, requiring a walk of more than 20 minutes to reach the old town - manageable but not the most central position for tourists focused on historical sightseeing.

Clean and tidy, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom had a bathtub which was really surprising and we loved it! Close to the mall. A bit further away from the city centre but still within walking distance (if you don’t mind walking) and easy to find. The buffet was quite extensive and had good selection every day!

The soundproofing from the corridors was not the best so we could hear everyone walking and speaking loudly but most people were courteous and quiet so we didn’t experience any disturbance during quiet hours. Single use slippers would be a nice thing to incorporate.

The rooms were really clean and tidy, they had everything I needed. The TV and WiFi were really good, especially because the TV had phone screen sharing. The breakfast was really good, all the food was tasty and there was plenty of it. The staff were really lenient with the timing, so even those who came a little late still had a chance to eat something. Breakfast included coffee which was a massive plus for me.

The only thing I didn't like is the location. The hotel is a little far away from the center, which isn't a problem if you're willing to get a 24 hour ticket, but if you aren't you're gonna end up walking for 20/30ish minutes. Perhaps in the summer it's not a problem, but in the blistering cold of -2C it isn't ideal.

Nice clean room on 6th floor with comfortable bed. Balcony was added bonus with great views of the city. Very generous & extensive breakfast- something for every taste in my opinion. Great relaxing experience in the salt cave followed by Finnish sauna- very impressed with "personalised" method of using these facilities ie booking per guest couple, thereby having exclusive use! Overall, excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Room size too small- appeared to be smaller than what we had booked? Failure to properly stock tea/coffee tray- had to get creamer/milk from reception. Disappointed that no maps or tourist information available.

Location is perfect, 10 minutes walk from main Bus station inside the shopping mall that connects one to Vienna and other main towns on an hourly basis. Easy stroll by walking of 20 minutes to the city centre and in a quiet quarter. Parking available too. Breakfast plentiful and adequate quality in a classic beautiful restaurant. Good cleanness and knowledgeable staff in several languages. On check in the receptionist made a mistake by overcharging us the city tax but as a Hotel Quality Manager I kept quiet to see if they will realise their mistake during night audit and on check out I was reimbursed the small amount of €18 with an apology from the staff but I left it to them as a tip, so well done to all. Furthermore I put a pen under the bed to see the level of cleanness, and on return to hotel in the evening I found the pen on the desk, very professional. I asked my friend in Bratislava to send me a parcel and soon as I walked in the hotel I was without asking for it, given which shows that guests are there not just a number. All in all I will again use the premises on my next visit and two of my friends are currently staying and planning also to stay in the coming weeks.

The hotel at its best will be a good 3 * hotel in Malta as it lacks outdoor and indoor swimming pool but perhaps for Slovakia it's a norm. As a hotelier I would have kept the old name Dukla but the owners know best I guess. What was irritating me is that signs of New Year's activities were still displayed in lobby and all floors by the lift although we stayed a week after so a bit more attention to details needed.

The location was ideal for us as we wanted to be within walking distance to the mall and bus station. The hotel was very clean and smelled nice. Strong AC, comfy beds, clean bathroom. The breakfast was very good - many options to choose from.

Even though we checked in on my birthday nobody seemed to care at reception. I kindly asked for a twin bed bedroom instead of queen bed and even this request was denied. No welcome gesture or anything inside the room... A little bit attention to detail could make your guests feel special. There was no main light in our room and the facilities looked old. We were on 6th floor which apparently hasn't been renovated yet. The room was extremely small. There was literally the bed and no space to move around.

The room had clearly been recently renovated to a high standard. Was lovely and clean, very modern, lots of charging points. Came with shower gel and extra bits like a sewing kit. Great rainfall shower, towels were changed daily. Extra pillows and a duvet were in the wardrobe, with an iron and ironing board. Hairdryer, kettle tea and coffee along with a mini bar. There was nothing in our mini bar, not sure if there was meant to be. Breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold choices, ample tea, coffee, and fruit juice. A grand Hotel, mixture of old and new. ...really liked the hotel, would definitely recommend and would recommend visiting Bratislava too.

The bed was too hard for my choice, the room was very warm despite it being cold outside, the window was open permanently for 3 days. I'm not a fan of air con but couldn't work out how to get it to work without it blowing hotter. The hotel was a bit of a walk into the centre, after doing 49000 steps in 2 days, we started to use uber more which was readily available and cost between 5 and 10 euros dependant on the time of day.

A charming hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The room was big and clean. The weather was hot, but the AC worked well, and the room was pleasant despite facing the sun. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The room included breakfast, which was served in the St. Hubert restaurant on premises. The ambiance, the view, the waiting staff, as well as the buffet, were excellent. Have lunch or dinner there as well if you can. It's a wonderful experience, and do try their homemade poppy seed strudel.

There was nothing that bothered me.
