We booked a room for 5 people. The room was really lovely, well decorated, with enough space for luggage and clothes. We were on the first floor, some noise from the street but we slept very well. The breakfast was amazing. They have a continental choice, as well as croissants, sweets and pastries. You’ll find frankfurters, scrambled eggs, bacon and beans. Moreover, they provide Greek Yogurt, cereals, granola, pancakes, cheese and a lot more things. The breakfast room is small, but perfect to start a new day in Bratislava. Staff is very friendly, they give you all the needed info for a perfect stay.

As in all these accommodations, there’s a bad smell coming out of the shower drainage. It’s expected, but I hope they’ll do something to solve this issue.

Hotel was very nice and conveniently located to the east side of town near the blue church. For the Christmas markets it was about a five minute walk, but it was enjoyable to see the neighborhood and the surrounding buildings. Hotel is very well maintained and the surrounding area very safe feeling. Less than a five minute walk to the east it takes you to the main bus station if you are connecting by bus to the Vienna airport, which I did. Breakfast is a very good selection of local and regional foods. Nice fresh meats, vegetables, eggs, and many other items, including pastries.

Not a complaint, just a warning. The room I reserved was a “single” which was literally a bed, a small table and an en suite bathroom. It was perfect for just one person, but don’t recommend having a lot of luggage or any visitors. My room was right next to the stairwell, which also put me next to the elevator, which is very old and noisy when the doors open and close which it seemed to do all night long. Thankfully, I slept through most of this, but while I was awake, it sounded a little bit like people were moving filing cabinets. Might recommend asking for a room away from the stairwell/elevator.

Good location with the Blue Church just around the corner and less than a minute away. The Danube was an easy 5 minutes walk and other sights in the Old Town were about a 10 to 15 minutes walk away. The hotel offers to arrange a taxi pickup from the airport but I opted to use cheaper public transport which involved 2 buses and I still needed Google Maps to find the hotel from the nearest bus stop. My single room was quiet, clean and comfortable and good wifi was free. The buffet breakfast was the outstanding feature of this hotel. Overall, I found my stay to be great value for money.

Always smokers right outside the front door and the smoke drifted in towards Reception. Other than that small point, there was nothing to disappoint.

I loved everything about the hotel. The location could not be more convenient, the area is quiet but central, the bus station and the city centre were both a short walk away, the festival I was in town for was a tram ride away that took me almost door to door. The room was clean, the interior simple but charming, breakfast was indeed tasty and offered plenty of choice, the staff were all pleasant and helpful. I apologise for gushing so much but this has been the nicest stay of my life, hands down.

The only thing I would add is maybe add a little soap dish to the shower, one of those suction cup ones from IKEA maybe, to put the shower gel that the hotel provides onto it? I was thinking that could be handy.

The location was really good. Very close to the blue church and the old town. Easy to find. A very well decorated and cosy room, perfect for a few days away.

The room was very warm with no air conditioning. And where my room was, there was a substantial amount of noise every time someone came up the stairs. Despite quiet hours many guests didn’t take any notice and were noisy throughout the night in the corridor this meant that multiple times through the night I was awoken.

The hotel is located perfectly for the city centre, it's close enough to walk to, but far enough away you get a nice quiet night sleep. Also the breakfast in the morning was good. The hotel staff were helpful, answering any question in a helpful way as well as having an area to store luggage after you've checked out (if you have a later flight for example). Finally, I like the fact they sold drinks down in reception, soft drinks, beers and some spirits.

The only issue I had in my room was having nowhere I could sit comfortably for a longer period of time. There was a chair in the room but after 10-15 minutes it was uncomfortable to sit on. Also my bed wasn't really an option as the way it was set up in a way it was difficult to sit on, but this is only a minor issue.

This is a lovely old hotel. My room was small but not abnormal for European Hotels. The room was exceptionally clean & well appointed. The location was great. Few km from the heart of Bratislava & close to ferry dock for Vienna. The hotel was surrounded by cafes & restaurants. Buffet breakfast was good value for money. Cleaners smiled every morning & said hello, which created a warm & friendly environment. Happy to recommend & rebook on my next visit.

I have no complaints or issues. I felt safe & enjoyed my stay.

I really liked the location - 1st time visit to Bratislava, on own. Right in old town - didn't need to negotiate public transport straight away - lots of cafe's & supermarkets close by. And main attractions. Majority of staff very helpful. I really liked my room - I was upgraded so cannot comment on the smaller single that I had booked.

Sadly the staff member on reception on my arrival was not welcoming. I had already msg'd that I wld be arriving (11.00am) early & may not feel like going out immediately, having been up since 5.00am. My understanding was I was welcome to sit within hotel & cld have access to rm when ready. This was not offered on arrival - I had to ask to sit, ask for bathroom & then ask to leave my luggage - decided I'd use the time to go to supermarket. The sitting area is cold. Was not offered a drink & felt like I was a bother. Every request abruptly attended to with minimal attention. And I was not going to be checked in until 2.00pm - rm ready or not. Not a good start to a long day. Fortunately this was my only negative staff experience & avoided reception when this certain young man was on duty.

Really enjoyed staying here! The hotel is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, it's got a lovely retro interior and the room was great: warm, comfortable, clean. The location is also good - you can walk to the Old Town and pretty much all the other attractions in the city. For a future trip to Bratislava I'll definitely look into staying at this hotel again!

A couple of small things needed fixing, like the kettle (though it was working) and the shower handle holder.

Everything! The location is fantastic, 2min from the Blue Church, just outside the immediate centre of Old Town. There's Lidl 3min walk from the hotel. The room was compact but had everything I needed- clothes rack, tv, desk and chair, fridge, kettle. The bathroom was big, massive shower, toiletries available. My room was an inside one which meant the windows were out onto an (unused) corridor and maybe 2-3m further were hotel windows to the outside but windows were huge and the room was perfectly lit with plenty of natural light. It was an excellent value for money. Staff very nice and helpful too and it's possible to leave your luggage behind after checkout.
