The location was fantastic and parking was easy. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Facility was recently updated and had a modern vibe. The staff is very helpful and welcoming!

The breakfast was disappointing and didn't match the prior reviews that were left. The warm option was microwavable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, the oatmeal was reheated for several days and not fresh, and the brown sugar and dried fruit toppings were rock hard. By the third day, I decided to eat elsewhere. The only other thing is that we needed to request cleaning of our room by 10 am. I kept forgetting and after a 5-day stay, never ended up having our room refreshed. Would be better to be have it automatically scheduled and then cancelled by a door sign, if you don't want it.

The room and bed was comfortable and quiet. Check in was fast and easy. Parking was free. There is a brew pub and restaurant next door which was very nice. Breakfast was good with numerous options. Free coffee and tea is available 24 hours.

The room needs a more comfortable sitting chair or small couch. The chair provided was not comfortable. In addition, the bathroom door was a slider and difficult to open. The bathroom light could not be turned on without shining a bright light on the other person sleeping in the bed. Not good in the middle of the night.

The location was perfect for our stay in Lake Placid. We were able to leave the car at the hotel and walk to restaurants and shops in town, which was perfect given the amount of traffic in town. The daily breakfast was excellent, with options changing daily. I especially appreciated the coffee which was superior to most I have encountered in hotels. I highly recommend the pub next door for lunch and dinner. Their menu options were very good and the staff could not have been nicer. My friend has severe food allergies and the restaurant was extremely accommodating.

I did find the beds a bit softer than I prefer. That would be my only slightly negative feedback.

The room was great except the freezer was unable to make ice because there is no waterline ran. Also the thermostat is definitely off and the room ran super hot and the temperature did not match on the thermostat

We are upgraded to a different room at a different facility but we were told this after we unloaded all of our stuff. A courtesy call to tell us this BEFORE we unload everything would have been the appropriate thing to do. We very much appreciate the upgrade and the quieter room!

Beautiful, clean, modern space located just off main street, at the southern tip of mirror lake. Rooms were squeaky clean, showers spacious and ran hot, with great water pressure. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I'll likely be back if I ever need to stay in Lake Placid again.

The premium balcony rooms are on the first floor, so you don't really get much of a lake view and you're closer to the noise. (Not that there's much noise in Lake Placid) There's little they can do about those issues, but what a strange architectural choice ?! (Premium rooms are normally at the top / offer the best views, so unless you NEED a balcony, it seems harddly worth the extra money) Things they could improve on; little omissions in the breakfast offering, such as strawberry jam... they only had grape jam... or hard boiled eggs as a grab and go option... not the end of the world, just unusual.

The location is excellent. We were able to walk around Mirror Lake and explore downtown Lake Placid without moving our car from the hotel parking lot. The outdoor courtyard is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

The eggs at breakfast tasted like instant 🥴. The shower floor seemed very slippery and would benefit from a grab bar. We had to ask for an ice bucket and were given a plastic bag! The second night there were cardboard popcorn buckets near the ice machine.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our room and all the common areas were incredibly clean. Our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were kind and so incredibly helpful. It was really great value for our money, and very close to the main part of the village. Breakfast was awesome! Huge kudos to all the staff; especially the front desk staff, the cleaning staff, and the staff in charge of breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others!

This is right smack in the middle of downtown Lake Placid and right next to a brewery. The hotel is lovely, clean and was quiet on the night we were there. It was also VERY roomy. It's not fancy but it's a step above a basic hotel. Sort of like a Hampton. They offer a parking lot, but if it's full, you have to go elsewhere to park in the winter. I'm not sure what the rates are normally but we pain a pretty high price because it was the weekend of Empire State Games. Staff was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

The shower was warm but not hot; the hot water heater could stand to be turned up a few degrees. They offer a breakfast but we didn't eat there so I can't comment on that.

Nice amenities, some unique things I’ve never seen before. Cookies and cocoa in the lobby, a cool ice pellet machine, hot breakfast every morning, good size rooms, very attentive staff.

Unfortunately our very first impression was not great… the staff that checked me in was noticeably sick. Sneezing, coughing and touching his nose and then touching credit card, license and room key made me uneasy during the transaction. The service itself was good, but maybe shouldn’t have been at work so sick. Several of our party checking in noticed the same. Again, his service was not the issue, just the possibility of spreading sickness to all the guests from this weekend.

We stayed there for 2 nights during a Fall weekend. It was the perfect location, the room was big for my partner, myself and our baby, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very well located, walking distance from the main street of lake placid and close to the lake. The staff was also super nice with us and our baby specifically. It also had a nice breakfast. I would definitely come back here if we go to lake placid in the future
