We have stayed at this hotel twice in 2 months. We absolutely love this place. The king beds make staying at other hotels way less comfortable. My husbands LOVES the cookie hour. Very short drive to Legoland. Chick-fil-a just opened down the street. Close proximity to many restaurants and stores.

The first time we stayed the parking lot was under construction so it was a mess. (Fixed now) I do not have the best cell reception, especially in the parking garage. Being a dog friendly hotel, you do hear some dogs barking early in the morning, but with two small children, that isn't the worst thing to experience.

The breakfast was decent, not excellent, but what does one expect from a buffet? I think it was a perfect place to stay with family.

I am not a fan of dogs in the dining room. They were sometimes quite annoying with their "yipping." I own a dog and love him very much, and I have traveled with him, but I don't expect people to have to tolerate his bad behavior.

Rather liked this one. Had a separate area with sofa and tv, food area with fridge and microwave. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Nice breakfast too. Staff friendly. Easy parking.

I was worried in advance that it would be noisy and we are light sleepers. However, despite proximity of freeway, we couldn't hear it. There was a little train noise but I am pretty sure they didn't beep overnight as I wasn't woken - so all good!

A very clean and quiet place in a great location. It felt as if we were in Hawaii or something! The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have had a better experience. Based off other reviews I was a bit worried about the noise of the train and the Wifi issues but neither were an issue on our stay. We heard the train once the whole weekend and it was a quick pass through. And for the Wifi we were able to use it without an issue the whole weekend, actually worked well. Would definitely book again here!

Nothing that I didn’t like.

location was great for driving right off the exit of the major highway, it's sitting at the back off the main traffic route. Easy to make turns because there's traffic light at our intersection

The quality of breakfast was poor, reheated items didn't taste freshly prepared. The dinning area is too small for the number of guests.The room that serve food was so tight that very hard to pass through during the morning breakfast rush. They should leave the water station with coffee & tea for guests all day especially during the hot days guest should be able to get a cold/hot drink without returning to their room. There were limited room service due to shortage of help( there's no excuse to run a hotel that cost over 300 dollars/day)

There's so much to say about this hidden gem in Carlsbad, California! It has the feeling of an upscale hotel with all its amenities, but at an affordable price!!! You just have to stay here once to appreciate it as the pictures don't do it justice & I promise, you'll be back! When you arrive, you'll take in the most incredible scent as you make your way into the lobby. Their air freshener is light & sets the tone for your relaxing stay to begin! The staff is very friendly & their breakfast is great with so many options of food to choose from. They even provide cookies and milk for you in the evening! Their beautiful bathroom even has an electric makeup magnifying mirror that lights up & there's also rubber shower mat inside the tub to help prevent slipping! Our room was adequately lit & the furnishings were beautiful. Their king size bed, pillows & bedding were absolutely luxurious, we had the best night sleep! We truly felt pampered & know where our go to hotel is, in the future. We will be back for sure & will tell our family and friends about this amazing hotel. We didn't want to leave & can't wait to come back!

The property is beautifully landscaped and the suite we stayed in was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the small park across the street for our dog. We would definitely stay again.

The only downfall of this property is its location. It is between the freeway and train tracks so outside it was noisy.

The hotel is at the end of a short side street only 3 blocks from the main beach highway. The traffic, crowds, etc just blocks away were gone! Peaceful and relaxing while being close to great beaches, bike riding, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was excellent-hot eggs, ham, sausage, biscuts and gravy, waffles, etc along with cereals, toast, juices, fruits, etc. Best eating area of any hotel we've seen-and we travel a lot. The pool is huge, nice spa, quiet area to lay around and relax-even top quality pool towels!

Nothing. Is a great new hotel with upscale ammenities. Close to lego land, the beach. Hotels just a mile or two on main beach highway in crowded Carlsbad were twice or more the price! Great for couples or for families with small children.

Staff very helpful. Property well kept up. Plenty of free parking.

Right next to freeway on one side and near commuter railroad on other side. Trains run into late night. Update your listing - the restaurant next door is permanently closed.

Everything. The 2bdrm suite was good size. There is no door that separates the “living room” from the “bedroom” but allowed enough privacy where the tv in the other room didn’t keep me up. They allow dogs of all breeds and sizes. Great for us who love to travel with our dogs.

The jacuzzi would turn on n off on its own in a 15mins process. It was weird.
