Large and roomy apartment, very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Beautiful balcony overlooking the pathway to the beach and great swimming pool.

Only a little thing, but we didnt find the communication that great as it was all via email and when we did reply with a problem with our garage remote, we did not receive a reply. The office was often shut. There were no instructions or welcome pack in the apartment so we werent 100% sure of rules or what we were meant to do with rubbish etc. But this was minor and the stay was wonderful.

Spacious, very close to beach and to central town, yet quiet

1. Hopeless heat pumps. Bedroom set on heating mode at 22degC became an oven, so change to cooling mode set on 24degC and became an ice box. Lounge worse - turn on heating mode, nothing happens, freezing during breakfast, after an hour still nothing happened, forgot we had turned it on, went out, came back later its running and hot lounge 2. Cold floor - the floor type is suitable for summer, not winter. OK, we can wear socks... but the problem with wearing white socks is it really shows up how unclean the floor is

We just loved our stay at Beachcomber on the Spit! The manager (& his partner) were fantastic - always available and sorted any issue we asked them about! The apartment was spacious and well stocked. The direct entry to the track/beach (only 50 meters away) was a bonus. We didn’t have a car but had no issues with walking to the supermarket (about an kilometre away) and the cafes were really handy. The swimming pool was glorious! Security was great - felt very safe in the unit. We met several couples who return annually to these apartments and we can understand why!

Maybe a couple of extra cooking dishes - with lids - as there were no lids to the two we had. A wider range of television channels available would have been nice (though not essential) The clothes dryer wasn’t in good condition though the manager was aware it needed replacing - worked well but handle and filter damaged.

we loved the location, right by the boardwalk and beach. The apartment met our requirements of 3 bedrooms, and was clean, comfortable and had a lovely relaxed feel to it. We could also walk to 'The Wharf' rather than having to take our car for some of our meals or take-away. We were also happy to have our own safe carpark on the facility for our hire car.

We struggled using the oven - just couldn't get it to work and had to ask the Manager to come and help us. It was simple - if you knew how! So, some instructions on how to use it in the kitchen would have been helpful.

Great location, very nice unit, property managers were very nice and helpful when needed

did seem to lack a bit of general maintenance and upkeep. Did have to follow up to acquire a 2nd set of keys. Only a few steak knives but should be at least the number required for number of people in unit. went to use bbq on penthouse rooftop for a Brekky cook up and there was no gas. BBQ was also not clean. went to use range hood but when we pulled it out there were insect droppings on top so looked like hadn’t been cleaned. Went to use coffee in sachets provided but coffee was grey so very old.

The property is well maintained with tropical gardens and a heated pool. The managers were very friendly and accommodating and recommended some excellent dining choices. The apartment was clean and spacious with a generous balcony. The location was excellent and close to cafes, bars and restaurants.

Could not really fault anything about this property.

Fantastic location 👏We could even hire chairs and a beach 🏖️ umbrella Making our beach days longer and more comfortable!! Our bed was fine .. although O don’t like bed comforters..so l just took it off

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner … But the apartment was spacious and had all the amenities we required

The location was fantastic, staff were very friendly and the apartments were very well equipped. The terrace area was fantastic and the staff managed to accommodate our large family in three adjoining apartments.

Check out was 9am; this is very early, even by Australian standards! The patio doors and bedroom windows were a bit dated; they were stiff to open and close and you could hear the wind whistling through them as they weren't a great fit!

Friendly staff. Comfy lounge suite. Good tv. Everything you’d need for self contained living. Close to town. Level walking. Right on the beach walking track. Nice bathrooms. Great having a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Could hear some noise from the next unit at night but it settled down.

The beds were really comfy and the unit was lovely and clean and well furnished. The entire property other than the rooftop is really lovely and well presented.

The furniture on the rooftop terrace was in need of replacing. The noise coming from other units does disturb sleep, I'm not sure what can be done to rectify this, insulation??
