Everything about the property is amazing! The staff are very accommodating and professional. It was my wife’s birthday trip and they made it really special. They suprised her with a very pretty and delicious cake on our birthday dinner. We were blown away by their warmth. They were very attentive and looked after us very well. We cannot thank them enough. The property is very beautiful, very quiet and everything is just perfect. We would definitely visit again! Thank you guys your really made our stay trully unforgettable.

The gardens are beautiful and pool area is well maintained and lots of shade available. Pool service and cocktails are brilliant. Nice outdoor dining area. Excellent restaurant.

Description of room when booking. Garden room however our Garden room was directly overlooking gravel path leading to swimming pool so no view.Also the path light was shining directly into the room. This was the Deluxe triple room for 2 persons.Better description on booking.com would be welcome of ground floor rooms.

We had awonderful stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely beautiful.The hotel itself was superb — elegant, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, always friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, which made the experience even more pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay.

The features of this former hunting lodge include a gracious glass-enclosed dining/breakfast room was delightful looking out over grounds in the morning, and an elegant place to dine at night. Service from reception to dining was superb, as was the food. The rooms with their rustic dramatic ceilings and comfy beds led to pleasant rest and beautiful views. A retreat from noisy streets and crowds.

Beautiful location, building, lovely rooms and garden. Incredibly peaceful area and great to visit neighbouring towns like Pisa, Lucca and Florence. Wonderful staff as well, all very helpful and there was always someone there to help. A real find and great way to experience Tuscany. Surrounded by fantastic countryside .

The food at breakfast was a bit of a let down. Whilst they did ensure we had our gluten free bread option, there was hardly any hot food available for breakfast. The eggs were mostly overcooked or they had run out even when there were lots of people at breakfast. Decaffeinated coffee was instant and the tea was lukewarm. It’s a shame as the breakfast is an important part of the stay and the view outside was lovely. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was nice.

+ Staff was just great, lovely and gave us the feeling of 'home' + Great room, very clean, old tuscany touch but in a good way + not many people can sleep here so it's quite and everyone respects that + Location was great because it was way on the countryside and no disturbances here + pool was great, garden was cut perfectly and was beautiful + you can rent a vespa for 80€ whole day and just 40€ if you take it just for the evening - we drove into pisa and the way there was magical - we absolutely loved it

- nothing really except that we had to leave - only thing we could mention is that we got a receit for the snack in the bar with just the price and not how much everything cost. overall it was perfect! we recommend staying here and we will come back!nn

This place is amazing! We had booked this our final night to enjoy a pool day after all the walking on our trip to Tuscany. Everything from start to finish was so tranquil and relaxing. The staff are amazing, some of the most friendly people. Rooms were beautiful and bed amazingly comfortable. We’ve already talked about coming back! I also have to mention the restaurant is spectacular, we both agreed it might have been the best meal we’ve ever had. 10/10, must visit if you’re in the Lucca area.

Returned for our 4th visit. Restaurant is good, staff brilliant and communal areas are excellent.

Breakfast is limited - fruit not ripe and not much choice. Outside furniture has suffered during Covid years and needs replacing.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and great location to explore the area! Food was great too. Just a short bike ride into Lucca which the hotel rents out.
