Me and my daughter really enjoyed staying here. I wanted to stay in a quite place to get away from all the city noises and this place was perfect. It was quite but very lively because of all the people. Very kind and friendly personal who always welcoming you. The breakfast is very nice. There is a buffet table, and they will also bring extra food and drinks to your own table. One time we slept over and wanted to skip breakfast and have lunch at the restaurant but it was sunday and the restaurant was closed. But we still got our breakfast prepared with everything, even when it's lunch time and the personal have a free day. The food at the restaurant were amazing. The bed is comfortable. They have a very large parking place. Only 20 mins of driving from the pisa airport and around 15mins to the city centre of Lucca. Thank you for making our stay in Lucca unforgettable.

The restaurant is outstanding. The food is unbelievably good. I would highly suggest to try the restaurant. Simple but very nice seafood with extremely fresh ingredients. The flat fish was amazing.

I liked everything

Hotel da Carlos is very conveniently located if you’d like to explore the North of Tuscany. Our room was perfectly clean, comfortable and was equipped with good airconditioning. Breakfast had anything you could wish for with multiple Italian treats. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. If you have the opportunity, try the restaurant at night which offers great food !

Nothing

We chose this accommodation because it was located on the main street, between Pisa and Lucca, both on our itinerary. The hosts were nice and prepared us a rich Italian breakfast. There is also a private parking lot behind the hotel, and in the evening you can serve a dessert at the restaurant inside the hotel.

The room was quite small, with somewhat outdated furniture, but for a night of transit the facilities were ok.

Almost everything. Amazing location, rooms were spacious, super clean with amenities. Even the bathroom was cozy. Flexible and friendly staffs. Tasty breakfast.

I wouldn’t call it as a negative or dislike, but the breakfast isn’t a buffet type as most of the hotels have. They staffs serve a defined set of items to the table. We personally prefer a buffet breakfast so we eat what we like, but not the ones we prefer less. Not being a buffet also made the variety very limited.

Breakfast was a typical Italian offering, mostly sweet (cake, pastries etc) Great coffee!

Everything was very comfortable, clean and the host Carlos was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful and helpful staff. Big breakfast with pretty much everything you want, including fruit. smaller but comfy rooms with everything one needs (functioning airco). Close to Lucca (15min), Pisa (15min), seaside (30min, in summer months avoid crowded Viareggio and go to Marina di Vecchiano) and Cinque Terre (60min to La Spezia where you take a train).

The hotel is next to a very busy road to Lucca,you can always hear the traffic, we could not sleep with an open window.

Late check-in handled in proper hospitality style. But they should fix the info which you see when booking.

I appreciate host kindness. Hotel was clean and we had everything needed. View from the balcony was amazing, also breakfasts they served was cute and tasty.

The hotel is perfectly located between Pisa and Luca. We were looked after by the friendliest, most helpful man we met on our travels, he told us about Lucca and suggested we ride around on biked which was wonderful! Good restaurant and lovely breakfast, highly recommended
