Lovely quiet location and very helpful host. Nice cool room with patio (too hot to sit out!) as an upgrade, thanks! Breakfast very Italian in style, but covered what we wanted. Fantastic, but expensive, new 'fusion' restaurant in a back street.

Not so many facilities around the town; two places to eat, which both closed on Monday (and restaurant was booked full on all three nights, so needed to pre-book) - but the local cafe/deli was good instead. Quite a long walk to the train station each day, in the heat - but the cheap local bus to Pisa or Lucca stops very close to property, although every two hours.

Everything about this stay was exactly as I had hoped. The details were a visual treat, the warm welcome and amenities were a special time for our family, especially the beds and bedding! The breakfast terrace was cozy and afforded a lovely view of the mountains. Our hosts were available, informative and great fun to talk with. The local spa was amazing. The town was an easy walk. We will definitely return to stay there on our next visit.

Lovely rustic rooms which had everything we required. The air conditioning was great, definitely needed it after a day under the Tuscan. The location very good, close to shops and not far from train. Station.

Not a reflection on the accomodation but in general taxis were hard to come by in the area but Moreno always helped with organising transport for us.

The interior is renovated but they have kept the authentic Italian touch. Amazing details in the room we have stayed. The host is very friendly and local to the region. The location is close to the station and has a little garden with mountain view. We will come back to explore further!

What’s not to like everything was tasteful and interesting decor. Perfect place for some nice restaurants lovely stroll along the river and friendly people wonderful breakfast selection even toastie are cooked. I am now looking for a reason to go back and stay there only 12 km from Luca.!!!

It was perfect. 😊 Room was in nice and cozy vintage style. Bed was very comfortable. All house was very clean. Breakfast included many different sweet pastries coffee or tea. The owner was very helpfull with everithing what we wish..especially with my no milk diet. We had a very good time here, thank you😊

Fabulous host (Moreno). Character property with larger than average bedroom and bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast on the balcony with great views.

Limited breakfast options but the cakes were lovely.
