Excellent, everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Clean, ample space, great bed, shower and bathroom facilities fantastic. Quiet, even though there were wedding guests staying. Parking excellent, warm, water and radiators in full working order, unlike some I've stayed at. Polite lady,Jackie,on reception, and a lovely lady named Helen doing the cleaning.,my every request was met. I'll be back, great value for money. Flynn B.
I did order a medium well rump steak, but it was medium rare.,still delicious,I assume I was missheard when ordering, but no fuss.

I only had the continental breakfast but there was plenty of choice if you wanted a cooked breakfast. I ate in the restaurant on Thursday and the meal was well cooked, tasty and served very quickly. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Comfortable bed and nice hot shower.
The room was probably fine for a one night stay but, because I was there for three nights, I felt it would benefit from a refresh, it felt a little drab and tired.

Really peaceful stay. Chalet style little cottages are sweet. Ask for one in the courtyard at the back for ultimate peaceful night. Showers best I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend. The food in the restaurant was a bit disappointing but chain food restaurants food never impressed me anyway. Just a bit bland. Sorry to say but they need to teach the grumpy old barman to speak and say please and thanks. Otherwise everything else nice.

The location is perfect for us as we need to be near to Bardon Parc Chapel. We like the separate chalet's as apposed to hotel rooms as it gives more privacy and is generally quieter. Being able to park directly outside the chalet is ideal as I have mobility problems. The staff were all cheerful and helpful. Bed was comfy, and the shower hot and good pressure. Dog friendly!!!
The chalet really should not have been let as there was a nasty odour and evidence of damp and water leakage in the bathroom. We did report this and were satisfied with the outcome.

Is a very nice place that has a lot of room for parking and easy to find it. Room was a good size room and it had a TV iron and ironing board and a dryer. Toilet was a good size too with a rain shower head. Bed was a bit to hard for me and didn't sleep to well. Close to their PUB/Bar and you can enjoy a varied menu.
Explain better the check out procedure. I left early in the morning and I didn't know that you should leave the keys in the room. Waited in front of reception with no access to it at that hour, and a staff arrived and I gave them the key and they said that other leave them in the room.

This hotel was perfect for everything we needed. The staff were lovely and super helpful; during our stay, the car park was undergoing maintenance, so they suggested other temporary places for us to park and were generally very helpful. The rooms were lovely and the whole area felt like a little village which was adorable. 10/10 would stay again. ♡
There was nothing unlikable, everything was lovely.

I lived locally for many years and saw the venue being built and opened. I've been away for 12 hrs. It has expanded tremendously and totally exceeded my expectations especially at the price. The room was quiet, clean and warm. The bed was huge and firm without being hard. Breakfast was served quickly.
The Pub and restaurant were very busy when we arrived around 8pm on the Friday before Christmas. It took quite a while for some one reacting to the bell at reception to book in.Better

Lovely friendly hotel, my evening meal in attached pub was nice with all staff happy to stop for a moment an chat, checking in reg an generally happy. The rooms were clean, did share with a few spiders though an a squeaky bathroom door which was reported and notes for a quick WD40 next day. Bed comfy, no noise an lovely location.
Only my squeaky bathroom door an couldn't find main bathroom light switch, used mirror light.

My parents are the travellers and we always use this hotel as it’s close to where I live. This has recently been taken over under new management and I have to say that as much as it was good before. Since Sam and her team have come in, the service is outstanding. The staff are amazing, so polite. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always willing to accommodate where possible, my parents are retired and always prefer a room at the back because of the lorry park, and this is always arranged for them without question. The food is fantastic, the staff take the time to chat whenever they are in town. Cannot fault the place. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. . Can’t fault the place. Thank you Charnwood arms !!

The place was easy to find and the parking conveniently outside the room. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The room was a nice size (twin) and clean. We ate in the restaurant and the staff were, again, friendly - there was 1 bar person who didn't quite measure up to the rest. The food was nice and didn't take long to come out. Check-out was easy and efficient, staff were still friendly. I needed to find a place I wished to visit, the staff did everything they could to find it for me
Room: the Exelair didn't work in the bathroom and the temperature tap was hard to move, luckily I was able - with some effort - to move it to a cooler setting. I did mention this to the reception staff. The location wasn't the quietest, due to the main road, but this was explained on the website
