Breakfast abit limited with selection of fruit only melon and raspberries that had been recently defrosted . The bread to toast was only brown and would have nice to have seen white bread . The breakfast of poached eggs with bacon tasted better than on presentation and the hollandaise looked terrible and tasted the same .

The breakfast that I paid £12.50 needs more improvement with being able to gain access to brown sauce with only one bottle up at the self service buffet . Please offer pastries that look more fresh than stale and about more selection on the fruit otherwise will look to get breakfast outside of Green king hotels in future .

We booked four rooms and luckily for us their was plenty of availability at the time of booking. Although we only stayed for a night we considered the whole experience great value for money. The staff were friendly and polite, The rooms were very clean as were all communal areas. I would consider booking again if I am in the area.

There was nothing we didn't like even the weather was great. However, not really a problem with the hotel, but more a problem with the postcode for the hotel and using satnav. We were guided to a campsite in Charnwood Forest when we first arrived. Advice to all would be guests travelling by car, don't rely on your satnav alone :)

All of it. Its a hidden gem. The rooms are huge! The beds? Pretty sure the titanic was smaller. Fan left in the wardrobe, was brilliant because it was a very hot day! Shoutout to the Reya/Raya (im sorry i cant tell if you put and e or a 🫣) she checked me and my dad into our rooms and she was so funny, so engaging and absolutely a perfect choice to be the first face you see when you arrive. Shes a legend! Absolutely will be back.

Shower? If im being very very picky. Was just a slight puzzle to figure out.

The friendliness of all the staff from the receptionist to the bar staff. They were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Good parking facilities. Excellent breakfast.

Directions using SatNav were confusing as it took us down Unpaved Lane. We missed the signage coming off the roundabout as it was obscured with foliage. My mother came with us and whilst she was thrilled with her room she found the bed was quite high and very hard. However I had a brilliant night's sleep so no complaints from me!

Very clean place, nice food and good bar. Room was very good.

Poor service at breakfast. Had to ask for plates, bowls, didn't bother waiting to have a cooked breakfast because nobody about. Couldn't find anybody to pay so in the end went to reception and the lady working that booked us in the night before sorted it for us an she was brilliant, very helpful booking in and at breakfast time. Other people were having trouble at breakfast and were even asking us where things were. We had the last croissant and no pastries were replenished while we were at our table. Didn't detract from us having a very nice stay. Thank you

Large bed. Tea, coffee, hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the room. TV with lots of Freeview channels. Clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water supply to shower. Speed of food service. Plenty of parking space.

Light switch arrangement was only on one side of bed. No bedside sockets for phone charging. Breakfast room had a couple of flies and could do with a coat of paint. All very minor really :)

The Fieldhead is well located for me when I visit our facility in nearby Coalville. There's a nice range of rooms over the ground floor and first floor, and I must have stayed in most by now! Staff are always helpful and happy, food is great and the bar restaurant area is comfortable. Always a pleasant stay and I favour this property over the other Greene Kings premises which is actually nearer our site ... purely because this ne is so much more comfortable!

If I'm honest, I don't like the ground floor rooms as much ....... but that's just personal taste !

We booked a superior room. It was very roomy and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb, good choice of pastries, fruit and cereals. Excellent choice cooked option - scrambled egg and smoked salmon fabulous. Waitress (Petra) in main restaurant excellent very helpful and friendly.

Food for main course in restaurant disappointing, (would have expected peas or salad garnish with steak, only half tomato provided) although starters good. Bar had no Port and did no correct glasses for serving sherry.

Breakfast was luxurious, and there were several options. It was a great pleasure to have breakfast in this hotel, because service was excellent and everything was well organized.

The only thing that I have always found a bit difficult in hotels abroad, that there seldom is a fridge in he room. So was the case with this hotel, too.

The breakfast and fast service was very good. My husband had full cooked breakfast each morning which he said was very good. I chose continental which offered a good choice.

Service in the restaurant for evening meal was very slow. The waiter forgot to take our order. Lighting in the room was very dull and could do with improvement. Sink in ensuite was cracked and plug hole broken which caused water to drain away too quickly.
