The service was amazing. Every staff member was polite, attentive, helpful and kind. I was so impressed that the shuttle driver was at the airport waiting for me even though my flight was delayed.

I was tired and I didn't like the loud music from the hostel nearby. Also, my room was near the kitchen/restaurant and so I had some noise from that as well.

This hotel is beautiful. It has a handful of rooms and doubles as a bustling restaurant. We stayed in Master Suite 6 and to us it really was the best room in the hotel. Large and comfortable bed, sitting area and beautiful bathroom. Balcony view of the courtyard and a hammock as well. I will say that if you are planning on just staying in the room there will be noisy periods while the restaurant is open and the potential of a wedding next door at another property on FRI or SAT. But we had no problem with the commotions of either. In another room it may be more bothersome but not ours and not after 9 pm or 10 pm. We didn't find it an issue since we were out most nights to dinner or exploring the city With that said - don't pass this up. We travelled in October and had wonderful weather, just one night of rain. The staff were pleasant and patient with our lack of English. The front desk arranged airport travel and laundry for us. We had breakfast most mornings and it was always good and the coffee was first rate. There is a small cafe attached as well if you prefer something quick too. There is also a speakeasy down below the restaurant and we caught a wonderful singer named Anaite - (La Barona) so please seek her out as she was wonderful. Really enjoyed the drinks we had as well - especially the Carajillo. Locations is close enough to everything and Uber is plentiful and cheap - relative to US (Northeast) pricing. Cobblestones are unavoidable and sidewalks are narrow in the city - so embrace them. We walked often and the street the hotel is on is very quiet with a small convenience store across the street for snacks and water and a small bakery up the street for quick bites. I got engaged on this trip to my GF so it was very important to me to find the perfect spot and someplace romantic - and I really could not have asked for a better stay or experience. We will be back for sure - possibly for our destination wedding. Wonderful memories.

The breakfast was very good but limited to eggs or waffles. Fruit or bacon available for an extra cost. The hotel is very small and quaint. Amazing yoga studio and our room had an outdoor space which was great. Can get noisy as there are other venues nearby having events and the hotel does have a restaurant. But it was quiet after 10:00 pm. The area is walkable to everything. Staff are all very polite and helpful. There is a nice roof space to enjoy.

The pool is too cold to swim in and is only available very early in the day.

Slightly rustic but very elegant atmosphere with beautiful gardens. Our room had a private patio (though it was a bit too chilly to have breakfast there). A wonderful choice of breakfast was included and we even got lovely welcome drinks. There is free drinking water. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It’s on the edge of the historic center so easy to walk every but quiet.

We were there 3 nights and it was mostly quiet but on Friday night the place next door had loud dance music at night

Everything and everyone. Our room was comfortable, cozy and romantic. The view (we were in Suite 7) was spectacular. The food! The menu options for the complimentary continental breakfast alone was amazing, but everything on the menu was fantastic. They have a bar with an impressive spirits list, and they even have an underground speakeasy worth checking out. Most of all, the staff. From the waiters and waitress, to the housekeeping staff, they were all lovely, charming, friendly people who treated us as if we were family. I’d especially like to commend the front desk staff. Our trip had some hiccups along the way, which were our own fault, but the clerks at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating in helping us resolve our issue

The property was beautiful, relaxing and welcoming. The staff were always prompt to help and services were excellent. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and having been to some of the best restaurants around the world, Meson Panza Verde was wonderful, one of the best meals we had; the quality, flavor and presentation of food was top notch.

I would had liked to have more variety for breakfast, and hot water in shower always available, as there was one day we did not get hot water for showering. But there was a disclosure that hot water might not be available or delayed to get through the pipe since building was an old Spanish colonial structure and hot water might take longer than usual to be available. But having a room temparature shower in a semitropical environment was refreshing. Overall, if we would return to Antigua, Mezon Panza Verde will always be our stay.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! I loved every minute of my stay here. I was in suite 5, and the bathroom felt like it belonged in a castle. I’ve never experienced such a big bathtub in my life; it would definitely be big enough for 2 people, if that is something you are looking for… The bed was very comfortable, and it was great to have a private veranda with a giant hammock. Breakfasts were delicious, as was my complimentary welcome cocktail. I had dinner in the restaurant one night; it is just gorgeous and there was live music. All staff that I interacted with were friendly and welcoming. I took advantage of the lap pool each morning and participated in a wonderful yoga class with Giulia. If I return to Antigua I will absolutely stay at Meson Panza Verda again.

I found the wi-fi connection in my room to be very poor. This wasn’t a big deal for me, but for someone requiring a strong wi-fi signal this could be frustrating. Also, the food in the restaurant wasn’t quite up to the standard I would expect for this price point. Flavours were a little flat; heavy on the salt without enough acidity and sweetness to balance. However, I am a trained chef and likely pickier than the average diner. I still think it is worth it to dine here for the gorgeous atmosphere and exceptional service.

The room was really lovely with a great bathroom. I left something behind and really appreciated that they called me straight away and I was able to retrieve it. The food is good, but smoked salmon was ruined by a lot of very vinegary capers and onion. It's slightly out of the centre, which we liked.

No air conditioning - ok in February but I don't think it would be in summer, especially with the restaurant noise. It's really a huge restaurant with a few rooms overlooking the restaurant courtyard, so quite noisy until after midnight and woken by staff getting ready for breakfast before 7am. We didn't have the problem of loud music that others have mentioned. I wanted to love it but it didn't make the grade because of the noise.

This is not our first time in Meson Panza Verde. The hotel is lovely, the amenities are very nice and the design of the rooms is unique. The quality of the pillows and towels is very good.

Unfortunately a wedding was celebrated in a locarion nearby and the music was very loud. It's not the hotel's fault but it is something that apparently happens frequently and travellers have to be aware that potential risk. The breakfast choices are limited.

Beatuful old mansion with huge restaurant at ground floor. Amazing views from the rooftop. Very polite and well trained staff. Hotel a bit far from the center, but in a more quiet part of the town. Very comfortable mattress.

Only egg dishes for breakfast and no espresso- cappuccino included. Small rooms are really small, not enough place to unpack the suitcase. No slippers provided. Rooms are quite dark and humid, entrance from the restaurant area. Anything better than standard room costs 250-300$+ per night. No free upgrades even when the hotel is not full. Pool area closes at lunch time as it is within restaurant area. No discount at restaurant for hotel guests. No kettle in the room.
