Pension Segura is a very friendly and spotlessly clean family-owned and run hotel and is in a perfect location (just 5-10 minutes' walk from the centre of Valencia). The rooms are small and simple (which is why I have given 4/5) and the hotel has facilities (also a 4/5), but this is what I expected in a traditional 2-star Spanish hotel. Segura exceeded my expectations. The staff could not have been friendlier. Although Segura does not have a breakfast room, it is possible to buy tokens for breakfast at the excellent cafe just 20 seconds' away.

Some guests might require a safe in their rooms. This was not a problem for us.

The staff was friendly and the check-in open until very late was very helpful. The staff was very friendly. Appreciated the plastic cover on the remote controls and the possibility to buy drinks. Also appreciated the late check-out and the card to get a standard breakfast in the nearby bar. The location is great, just few minutes from the Cathedral (visible from the balcony!) Electric scooter just outside the door are also a welcome feature. Air conditioning was powerful. View of the top of the Cathedral from the balcony was very welcomed.

The bathroom was really little... I would recommend installing the usual soap dispenser near the sink and in the shower. The liquid soap bags were really unpractical... No fridge, but that's ok considering the class of the pension. The missing lift was a pain but it was an old building, so that's ok too... It was a nightmare to reach the place, as it is very central... I should have planned it better... But circulation in Murcia is just super crazy... very bad indication on crossings and lane... a nightmare... And the parking was just crazy (paid 35 euros for just over one day).

We have to pay a lot for a room because it was a party on that day in Murcia and all the accommodations where a lot more expensive than normal so we felt that it was too expensive but when we arrived they offered us a studio flat instead of the twin room with not extra charge. The flat was newly very clean newly decorated and very comfortable. So we felt better about the expensive price. The staff was very helpful and the location was excellent.

The price was expensive because of a special date in Murcia but we did not come for that event. However the accomodation was very clean and nice to spend a night.

Upon arrival, the host was very kind, providing us with useful directions for exploring the city, gifting us a map, and offering us a ground-floor studio apartment instead of the double room we had originally booked, as an upgrade. The small apartment is very cozy and new. A bit chilly, with some noise coming from the square in front, but overall a great option for visiting the city. A hairdryer and some toiletries would be useful, but for one night, it was perfect.

Arrived early and the room was ready to check in. We were able to leave bags at the reception after check out so we could explore the area some more the following day. Check out was 12 which we thought was great. Nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. The guy on reception was super helpful,sharing where to go on the map of the area. Very bijou but great for an overnight stay.

Excellent location with tidy rooms. Rooms that overlook the plaza with a balcony are very cosy. Some others looked less charming but would probably be better if looking for complete quiet. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

Simple Spanish-style breakfast though lacks gluten-free options in case that matters. Have to ring the bell to get in past midnight and wake up the receptionist, which felt a little inconvenient (mainly for the receptionist).

Such a Great location,right in an area full of places to visit.The owner and his staff are SO vigilant, I have limited mobility and saw alot of other people staying with same health issues.

Nothing to dislike.This is one of the best places I have stayed for years.The location ideal.Parking our hire car was abit fun but a few little side roads and a bit of patience.. .

Excellent location close to the bridge. The room was generally quiet, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and friendly staff. Good for the price of the stay.

There is no lift so it was slightly difficult for us travelling with a baby pram but manageable for the price point. Our room had a random raised 'podium' beneath the window which is okay but constrained us slightly with space for our toddlers cot. There was an offer of a breakfast associated with the room but no staff were able to speak english well enough to explain how to order it from the restaurant - no big deal but a suggestion would be to have this clarified to avoid ordering the wrong thing and paying the wrong amount.

The room was really cozy and had everything I wanted, including a sweet little balcony with view of the square. The staff was very nice and welcoming and serviceminded. I appreciated the good and useful information, map etc. They all spoke very good english. Beautiful building in the El Carmen barrio with park, church and museum.

I would have given a big 10 for all the staff if i didn`t meet the night-receptionist (the 2. night). He reacted in an unpleasant way because I went to the reception intending to buy a snack at 10 minutes past midnight. I tried to retreat when I could see he had gone to bed in the reception, so I was excusing that I didn`t know that it was closed, but he kept on nagging in a quite angry manner about how rude it was turning up to buy something at this time. He could have just said "sorry, we are closed" and there would be no bad feelings.

Great location, just short walk to city centre. Very welcoming staff Clean room, bedding and towels. Just above cafe for breakfast and evening drinks Quiet at night Double glazed and shutters for black out at night/morning. ( rm 202). Small balcony.

Tiny bathroom, but shower, wc, wash basin and hot water.
