Our hosts were the most kind, honest and hardworking folks I have met. Josephine helped us with the directions for our day trip to the cliffs through the Burren way. She is hardworking, industrious woman who started this B&B almost 30 years ago. Both Josephine and her husband are wonderful hosts, and we got an opportunity to taste Josephine's baked scones and bread. Her granddaughter was our waitress for a day and overall, they made us feel at home. The whole facility was very clean, and it felt warm and homely. We will be happy to plan another visit and I wish Josephine and her B&B all the very best.

This is one of the best B&Bs in Ireland. Josephine is the perfect host. She has cared about us in every detail. The house is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and VERY clean. A shower with hot water and high pressure. We had pancakes, toast, croissants, cereals...all what we want for breakfast. In short, everything was perfect. If one day we return to Ireland we will come back to this B&B for sure. See You Josephine & family!! Thank you very much for everything. You'll never walk alone 😜❤️

Everything Perfect !

Absolutely breathtaking views of the countryside and a very beautiful lawn. Only a short walk from Ireland’s tallest tower! Josephine was super nice and very friendly, she recommended a few places for us to eat dinner. The breakfast was amazing; we had pancakes that were made and served by the lovely Sadhbh—she was fantastic! The bedrooms were also very nice. We had electric blankets to warm the beds, which was perfect for when it got a little chilly at night. Overall a truly wonderful stay!

Josephine (the host) is the best!!! So welcoming, funny and nice! We had a really good time with her. Breakfast is great, room tiny but tidy and clean and really nice. The place is lovely and there is an interesting and beautiful and charming historical site, Kilmacdaugh, on the other side of the road. Josephine gave us as a farewell gift delicious chocolate sweets that she made herself. You can reach Gort in less than 10 minutes by car. We really loved to meet Josephine and her husband! Recommended!

Josephine has a passion for hospitality and takes pride in her exceptionally clean B and B. Rooms are a little small, but make little difference unless you're staying long term. It's excellent for a couple of nights. The breakfast is excellent, and the surrounding area is pristine and quiet (it's literally across from a cemetery - see pics - about 10 km to town). The host is absolutely engaging and caring and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. You could spend more, but why? Josephine makes you feel like family in her home and provides recommendations and a history of the area. We wished we could have stayed a little longer than one night.

A lovely B&B in an amazing location - right across the road from the Kilmacduagh round tower. Truly the most wonderful view and a great base for exploring this amazing site, as well as the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher, which were only about an hour away. Josephine and her husband were very kind hosts - their place was spotless and the beds comfortable. They had a lovely lounge with free tea and biscuits and also provided use of a washing machine, not to mention the replica of Anfield in the back yard, for any Liverpool fans! Josephine was also very kind when I fell ill, helping with medicine and toast. A wonderful stay in a unique and amazing place.

A few steps from Kilmacduagh abbey, the views of the site from the breakfast window is very charming. It is close to the Burren with lots to do around. From a logistical point of view it was close to the motorway which was what I was looking for. The area is quiet and relaxing. Our host was friendly and professional. The room was s potless and comfortable. Breakfast was generous.

Well located. Nice and charming house near the Burren. Josephine is very welcoming, helpful and easy going. We were delighted to meet her and her husband. They gave us tips and advices to find a restaurant and to have a wonderful time by the cliffs of Moher. The room is quiet and confortable with a view on the Burren. The breakfast was perfect as well. Nothing to declare.

Josephine is incredibly gracious and friendly. We were at her house for four nights and feel as though she and her husband, Pat, are family now. Josephine takes great pride in what she does, and she should. Josephine accommodated our desires for breakfast and provided a delicious meal. We've been to Ireland many times, and stayed in dozens of bed and breakfasts and can say, without hesitation, that Josephine is our favorite host and Naomh Colman is among the very finest houses. Being directly across from Kilmacduagh is a huge bonus!

The hospitality by Josephine was exceptional. Sometimes it is best to stay away from hotels and stay with bnb. The host, location, guests were very good, helpful and kind. The place is away from the road and town (not too far) but very quiet and peaceful.

It is slightly remote, you must have a vehicle to reach here and further commute. Plan accordingly.
