Rooms for small, but very well laid out with all items catered for full

Price was a little excessive at €150 for two people for a room only and stairs were quite steep. No parking available.

It’s in a quiet location of Galway, beside the sea side just perfect for a relaxing break before the Christmas holiday 😊, the staff were so helpful, the room was clean & had everything you needed, I was even cold & they put an extra heater In the room, this is our second stay & it definitely won’t be our last 😊

This is a fantastic accommodation option for staying in Salthill. Super clean and modern. Great stay and great value for money

Very good, clean and nice tiny room, have everything you need. Like it very much. You also have complementary teas and water in the corridor.

Rooms are located above restaurant where I’ve tried to book a dinner (this was the reason to stay in this accommodation- to have dinner in the same place for a convenience). I’ve sent dinner booking request as a message on booking.com but when we arrived staff said they didn’t book us and they don’t read messages and I should have called them., but how I supposed to know that? That was very disappointing and it was hard to find a free table in Sunday evening in Salthill.

Clean new fresh - was able to book very last minute after my plans changed.

No parking- no disability parking It was too warm, heating was on all night. I have a disability and could Not bend down to make a cup of tea, or coffee, when I got in. it would have better to have the kettle and coffee supplies on a small table at waist height. I also didn’t realise there so many stairs when I booked it. I think you should make this clearer in your profile- not suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs, or bending down, or have some mobility issues. Would recommend you have the place vetted by differently abled people to come up with solutions or specific rooms that are more disability inclusive so you can appear to be more inclusive- without being obviously rooms for disabled people.

Room attractively designed and bed very comfortable. No noise at all from the restaurant on ground floor. Lovely selection of teas and coffee available all hours just outside the room. Pillow chocolate a nice touch.

Free on street parking has limited. All disabled parking bays were full when we arrived. Room was very small; very little space for more than one bag and not enough shelf/counter space in bathroom for toiletries. Street outside very busy with taxis and deliveries; quite audible when window is open, which ot needed to be to prevent stuffiness.

Exactly what you need as a solo traveller. The rooms were super clean, big enough to fit you+ bags and they really thought about using the most of the space with access to hangers and hooks for clothes. Bathroom and shower seemed like new. The bed was really comfortable. On the top floor where I was, there is no black out blind so it is bright in there, especially in Summer with the early sunrise but they provide an eye mask and earplugs (which i didn't see until the next morning unfortunately). Drinking water supplied in the room also along with toiletries.

Could hear the seagulls running on the roof until about midnight and then again from 4am. IF I had used the supplied ear plugs, It wouldn't have been an issue so my bad. Two pillows provided but both were really big and found it not to my taste so would suggest getting a different sized, smaller pillow along with the bigger one so there's an option.

Lovely accomodation in the centre of Salthill, ideal for a two night stay for a couple. Received a very warm welcome and well informed about the accomodation upon arrival. The room was modern, bright and very well decorated. Luxury toiletries, teas and coffee along with little extras in the room such as a sleep kits, chocolates, water and vanity kits were a lovely touch. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay again.

I would highly recommend the Black cat for a short stay in Salthill/ Galway. The place is so clean & comfortable. It has everything you need. I had a single room and it was just perfect. Small, compact & cosy. I honestly couldn't fault it. Check in was simple via the restaurant desk and the girl was really lovely and helpful. I also ate with friends in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. A must of you are staying there. I had to leave early in the morning and check out was simple. I would certainly return.

A light breakfast or pastries would be a nice but there are plenty of cafe's close by as options.
