Our stay was for 2 nights as part of vacation. The room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. We had a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant as an add on to our stay. The bar/lounge area is great (although can be quite crowded at times) but overall a very pleasant atmosphere. We took a car to town as it is a bit out of the way; but the trade off is for the quiet ambiance!

The windows in our room overlooked the dumpster; as in looked directly into the dumpster; not sure how you can fix that unless it had a roof :) Could use more seating in the lounge area for nights when it is crowded

The receptionist was very welcoming and when I reserved a table for dinner she noted that it was for a special occasion .Our room was spacious and comfortable overlooking the lovely garden. The leisure facilities were excellent. We had a lovely evening meal. There was a great choice of starters, mains and desserts. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. He had been informed by the receptionist that it was my friend's birthday and he wished her a happy birthday as we were being seated. The food was excellent and the roulade was the best I've ever had anywhere.

Food, swimming pool, staff very helpful, steamroller was excellent, the sauna was excellent, the seacoosy, was very good, the breakfast was excellent, such a variety of food and the waitress suggested poach eggs, fabulous, I ask for portage, 1 would 10 for this, I believe the woman was from Cork,

There was maintenance, I was ask to go outside for 2hours, on the Wednesday, I am deft, but I was distracted or disturbed, when ask to leave the Hotel, it was cold outside the rain was starting to fall, the manager allow me in the lobby, at 12 45, I am deft, I couldn't find my hearings aids, so the staff including the young manager worte it down, thank God I did lip reading classes, but I got tips to ask people to write them down, very pleased with that they were busy in the food in of it, it took time to take the order and time for it to arrive, but it was excellent, I felt I ask one of the barmen for a point of lager, Coors, I got a point of Guinness, but I think I will learn from this, because I like to change to lager after having stout,

From the moment l arrived to this beautiful hotel l was blown away, first off all parking right outside and free! The staff at check in were so polite and helpful, they had us checked in within 2 mins. Loads of lifts to your floor/room, the family room we had was spectacular, from the big comfy beds and pillows, the bathroom was perfection, everything you need, towels, face cloths, shampoo, body wash, soap etc it was gleaming, they really do cater for everyone, the heating in the bedroom was so easy to use if your were to warm or cold it’s so easy to adjust. Great big tv to watch numerous Channels. The coffee machine was pure luxury, with coffee pods, milk sugar etc, great variety even decaf and lovely teas. My favourite has be the bar area. Just wow! Loved all the different wee areas you can eat and drink it can be private and also open, take your pic, very reasonable priced menu, it was fab, again catered for everyone, I really enjoyed sampling a couple of times of this. We were very lucky to meet the general manager we guessed he was before he told us as the staff were very attentive to every guest but also the boss lol! Guess what the boss bought us are drinks we had after our meal! A gentleman who after talking a while with him, it was clear to see he’s very passionate about his hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is So close to town, lovely walk in and so many shops on your doorstop, my first time in Galway but not my last, when I’m back l will be booking this amazing hotel! If I could give it 10 stars I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nothing it was perfection!

I loved the breakfast and the pool. Josie is amazing. Anytime I stay there she's just lovely ,professional and so so helpful. I'd go there to see her alone

Solar panels were being installed so had to leave hotel. Was informed beforehand but only had few days holidays so decided to not change my plans. My room was upgraded (thank you ). A bigger room for someone travelling alone was pointless though. Maybe a monetary deduction or even a glass of wine would've been better.

Very clean room, hotel has a spa which needs a bit of an upgrade, but it's good to have one.

Breakfast did not have any vegetarian options.

This is a very nice hotel - Iocated close to Galway city and within a walk of the Salthill promenade but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The leisure facilities (pool, gym, etc.) are excellent and well maintained. We didn't try the restaurant, but the food in the bar\bistro was very nice and service was excellent, although (pet peeve) the selection of zero alcohol drinks was poor. Breakfast was also very good, and the breakfast room is lovely - bright and buzzy. The bedroom was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The air-conditioning was good and not intrusive, and Wifi was also good in the rooms. Special mention goes to the staff, who were friendly and helpful at all times and made our stay very pleasant.

Lovley Hotel is very spacious and in a beautiful location. With fabulous gardens and entertainment at night

The cereal bowls which were left beside cerals for use obviously weren't checked after wash as alot ofvthem were dirty. Also when staff ask visitors staying if they want tea or coffee they should inform visitors which items they need to order from them that ate not left out for breakfast example the fried eggs omelette Also absence of bottles of water in rooms I hope this feed back does not offend as the hotel is just beautiful

- friendly and attentive staff - comfortable bed - huge parking at no extra cost - beautiful surroundings

- several things need better care in the rooms; the bathroom’s door knob was broken therefore the door wouldn’t stay closed. There was a latch installed on the inside of the door like in a public restroom. Multiple stains on the carpet. - no socket in the bathroom - hair dryer hidden in one of the drawers under the tv, found it way after I needed it - no minibar and/ or complimentary water bottle - limited options at breakfast; no fresh vegetables and fruit - water pressure and temperature could be better

Beds super comfortable, modern decor and clean. Restaurant on site very handy because hotel not close enough to shops. Reasonably priced re food, and delicious high quality. Venue has a big turnover due to wedding bookings, hence fresh food and top quality services.

Nothing, location would be inconvenient if you don’t have a car but there is a bus service very nearby - which is a good idea due to limited parking spaces in town
