The entire staff was incredibly welcoming, and the room was ideal for two, featuring a spacious shower and a mini fridge, which is great for extended stays! I really appreciated the aesthetic of the building both inside and out. The breakfast was tasty, and the location was just right for walking to nearly everything!

My partner and I thought that we could request a room cleaning or tidying, and if we didn't, no one would enter our room. Don't get me wrong; we were grateful that someone did come in, but we weren't given any notice. I would recommend putting a simple sign on the door so guests can indicate whether they would like someone to come in and clean or if they prefer not to have it done.

We had a lovely stay here. The room was a good size with seating in it as well. The bed was large and comfortable. The location was a short walk to the city center areas. The first day we had to leave extra early to make our ferry to the Islands so we couldn't order a sit-down breakfast. They provided a paper bag with fruit, pastry and juice to take with us. The second morning we were able to order a delicious hot breakfast before going off.

I would say a luggage rack to put your luggage on would be helpful. The other thing would be to open the windows before guests come so there is fresh air to cool off the room. But these are small things.

Loved this Bed and breakfast. The staff were exceptional. Such lovely girls and really helpful in regards to recommendations and requests we had. We stayed 4 nights over a very busy time and it was a great location. Just a little distance out of the centre of town and far enough away from the noise and craziness of the bars. Very safe area to walk, day and night and 6 min walk to the closest pub. Clean property with slight noises heard from creaking floors, street and other rooms but nothing that bothered us too much. Amazing breakfast included in the mornings where we met other travellers. Would recommend and would stay again.

The only issue/ feedback I would have would be about the blinds. The blinds let alot of light in from the street and also when the sun rises. Curtains or i vesting in black out blinds may be something worth looking into as this was something we had an issue with. Small issue that didn't bother us too much.

Location! It is within 10- 15 minutes walk to the river and cathedral. 20 minutes walk to the train station. The staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful with their two options of cold and cooked breakfast, many good delicious choices!. We got a room on the second floor with an ensuite. It was a comfortable and not too loud if you close the window. The place is clean and welcoming.

The size of the room was a little bit too small, but If you travel with a carry on and a backpack , your luggage will fit well.

We stayed a double room, very big (big bed...nearly king size bed and comfortable. It was really helping on the first night very warm night, we have comfortable space to make cooler. Room was bigger than we expected. Breakfast was beautiful and full of selection, cerials, fruit and cooked breakfast with aromatic coffee. They are big enough keeping us next meal.

Nothing special, street traffic sounded even in midnight, but we live in countryside so we may be more sensitive than others.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is cooked to order and tasty. The room was spacious. I really liked that it was in a residential area which was a little more peaceful, but still only about 5-10 minutes' walk to restaurants, pubs, and the shore, and 10-15 minutes' walk to the center. It was homey rather than fancy.

We were in the front of the house on the ground floor and the traffic noise was a little loud. I think a room towards the back would be perfect.

The location of this B & B is excellent and easily located. We chose this place because it because it had free parking and was quite frankly the cheapest property that we could find in this overpriced city. The staff and accommodation are excellent. The breakfast was adequate in so far as it was cooked in a peculiar manner maybe all together in an air fryer (egg yolk solid , mushroom dried out 4 small slices, rashers and sausages okay, black and white pudding oddly dry from the cooking process). Overall impression is that corporate has gone mad on portion control. The cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice selection was very good, and in fairness we enjoyed the breakfast. The room was immaculate, quiet and the bed very comfortable. We slept very well. I would recommend this B&B to anyone having to go to Galway city.

Staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, they had 2 options cold and hot food. We had a room ensuite. And it was a lovely time. It was so close to city centre, pubs, park, cathedral and seaside. Definitely, I would like to recommend this place.

I took -1 because they don't have some shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. I would like to recommend you that you should have. It's just my advice.

Location was amazing and the parking was great. Easily walk into Galway city centre along a lovely canal. Despite being so close to town, the area is nice and residential, so no late night noise or partying. We had a great, spacious room, clean, everything worked, lots of hot water and good water pressure. Staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, really lovely people. Breakfast was plentiful and good, lots of options and cooked fresh.

Some light came in through the window, better curtains/blinds would have been ideal. Not a huge problem but we did notice the morning light and outdoor lights at night.

Location is ideal. Just a short 10 minute walk to the centre. Desota is very well maintained. Very clean. The breakfasts were outstanding. Great variety and superb quality. We were at Desota for three nights & enjoyed our stay.

It is on a busy road so some might find the traffic noise a nuisance. A bum point we know but the toilet paper is very thin. One can always double it up!!
