The hotel reception area is very welcoming. There is beautiful areas to sit- play games with family, read a book or just enjoy a drink & chat. Overall staff were very helpful and friendly. Spoke to the children & made them feel welcome. Bar food was delicious. You must try the Chowder soup :) Children enjoyed their food & ice cream. Thomas in the leisure centre was so friendly & helpful. Gave the children inflatable toys and offered armbands. (We had our own). Rooms were very clean on arrival and cleaned daily. There is a nice playground across the road from the hotel.

The breakfast the second day was not as good as the first. We had to ask for brown bread, strawberry jam, melon,crossiants very little set out compared to the day before. There was no biscuit's left with the tea and coffee.

Made to feel very welcome when we arrive, reception were were very helpful on things to do and where to go. Breakfast was fantastic, you had a vary varied choice with continental (with pastries, ham, cheese, cereals, fruit and orange juice or milk- porridge) and then there was the fry - bacon, sausages, black & white pudding, tomatoes, scrabbled eggs and they also made you pancakes if required. And toast and tea and coffee so loads to choose from and as much as you want. The food in the bar during day / evening was also very good, not too much choice but what we got was very good( soup of the day, goujons with chips, chicken curry and burger with bacon were all fantastic and delicious)

too much salt onto chips coming from the kitchen and definitely too much salt inthe chowder does the chef ever taste the food he sends out to the guests. does he consider the fact that people have health issues like high blood pressure fluid retention heart conditions etc. if we want salt on or in our meals there are salt cellars on the table take note chef your Hotel group according to their advertising literature put the safety and wellbeing of their guests as a priority, but poisoning them with salt doesn't fit that description

We stayed in the room with one double bed and one single for child. Room was spacious and beds comfortable. We loved water in the pool as it was 29.5 degrees and just great for kids. Jacuzzi was nice and warm. Steam room and sauna was on and not crowded. Water in shower good pressure and warm enough. Lockers with keys in it for storage in changing room. Plenty of parking space outside the hotel. Good location.

The bedroom was too hot to sleep and we had to turn radiator off. Tried to open the window but was noisy from outside as it was facing swimming pool and I am not sure if it was noise of water pump working but looked similar to that. I was able to use my earplugs for the night, but was still too warm for sleeping. Steam room needs an upgrade as a mosaic tiles are falling off. Shower cabinet in the room looks very old but we didn’t use it as were using the one in changing rooms. Small choice for breakfast.

The staff was very gentle and help me. Fiona help me at every turn, and a waitress offer me a tea while I waiting for other key that was to one and half hour to the hotel. Very grateful for that. Bed was comfortable.

The room is too small for too furniture. I was a incident, all of my belongings kept into my van include the van keys. in that moment I would have liked to have a computer on hand, one that is available for guests. Anyway, I was able to solve the issue.

Friendly staff. At check-in receptionist mentioned gently that there was a function at the hotel that night; when we got back to the hotel in the early hours the party was audibly in full swing in the bar. Without prompting a staff member who was about to leave offered to get water for our room. A small easy thing that made our stay better, thank you. Quick check-in / check-out, without the screen-staring and needless feature-listing that many hotel groups seem to think is essential. Thanks.

Old fashioned hospitality…..nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff whether hotel reception, dining room or housekeeping. Guests are greeted with a smile and there is a warm, friendly ambience in the hotel. The bedroom,whilst not the most modern or high tech had a superking sized bed, with a really comfortable mattress and spotlessly clean white bedding. Unlike many modern hotels, they had 2 comfortable chairs in the bedroom which for people of a certain age is very important!!

It has a nice location, the interior of the lobby and the bar is ok. A bit old style but that's the beauty of it.

Nice hotel, which was obviously a first class wellness in the '90 but the ages went by and it got worn. The Wellness is not "well" anymore and it got lots of stupid rules that makes it unusable. especially with children. The breakfast was not a big deal, I ate better in other hotels over Ireland.

Wow - This was the best hotel in Ireland. Everything exceeded our expectations. We traveled from the USA to take a 10-day holiday in Ireland. The Lady Gregory Hotel was our favorite place to stay.(e.g. large pool and hot tub). However - the best part of the stay was the amazing breakfast and A+ service. The lady that served us breakfast was amazing. She taught us about Irish blood sausage and other aspects of Ireland. She was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing - everything was great. Parking could be a little challenging on the weekends, because the hotel is very active (restaurant, pub, etc).

We booked one night in the Lady Gregory and then continued our journey south as planned. We were so impressed with this hotel we booked another night on our return. The hotel was spotless, staff very friendly and the food was excellent. Beds very comfortable and no outside noise to be heard. Great night sleep. Used the leisure centre and again was very good. Karie Ann and the rest of the girls on reception were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return 😀
