We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! It's the perfect choice for families, especially those with young children. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. What truly sets this hotel apart is how well it caters to families while maintaining top-notch facilities. The amenities are thoughtfully designed, ensuring both kids and parents have a fantastic experience. Everything is impeccably maintained, which adds to the overall comfort and peace of mind. It’s refreshing to find a family-friendly hotel that doesn’t compromise on quality or service. We couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone traveling with kids. A truly excellent experience!

slightly over cowed at breakfast and dinner times

Really lovely family oriented hotel, it has all the facilities you could need on site like vending machines, coffee/tea area just inside the entrance, very handy to have in hotel. Hotel room was lovely & comfortable. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was lovely & so much to choose from, we did have to Que but you could see the staff were working hard to clear up tables & the Que did move quickly. It was my first time to travel anywhere with my twins so I was a bit nervous but we really enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning!

The room was quite warm & since I could only open the window a small bit it was a bit difficult to sleep with the heat. Would be handy to have a temperature gauge that you could adjust it as needed.

Hotel was extremely busy but this did not affect our experience during dinner or breakfast. Staff were very efficient in restaurant and dining room and all staff at hotel were very friendly. Good selection of food for breakfast. Location was excellent and is less than half an hour walk to town. Bus stop outside for those who prefer not to walk.

Although our room was clean, there was room for improvement, i.e on bathroom mirrors, bathroom floor and sink countertop/vanity area. Nothing major but not the standard of cleaning you’d hope for. Also wooden surfaces in bedroom area in need of sanding/varnishing. None of this would stop me staying again however and our overall experience was very positive.

Great stay in one bedroom apartment. Quiet, clean, well appointed room with free access to laundry. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Bar and restaurant was very convenient as were nearby convenience stores. Short Uber trip or walk to city. Next time we'll use the pool and also consider a rental car given the ease of parking. I give this hotel 5 stars because of their obvious successful effort to resurrect an ageing facility. Congratulations to management for pulling together an effective service team. Thankyou.

Room was outstanding. Breakfast was also superb (when not overrun by American tourists and their very unusual method of taking up all the area and blocking the ability to get food). Siting was also great and we both drove and used the bus to get into the City Centre. Can't fault it, both my wife and I loved the hotel. Oh, and ground floor as well, no lifts or stairs! Winner!

Coffee stand shut too early. Would be nice if it ran to the evening but can't have everything. It is hard to find any other issues, we both really enjoyed our stay.

Lobby is large, bright, and modern with multiple seating areas. Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The restroom is immediately off of front desk, which is always helpful after a long drive. The bed in our room was comfortable. Shower faucets were easy to use (some have proven difficult for this aging American!) We were on the 1st floor, which meant I did not have to use the elevator. A plus! Breakfast buffet was great and gluten-free toast was available. Oat milk was available for my morning tea and late night coffee in the bar. Large parking lot.

The coffee bar in the lobby, which closes at 4pm, was able to froth oat milk but the bar was not. Disappointing as I want my frothed milk in my decaf coffee at night! I was able to adjust and just use a lot of oat milk.

The hotel is a short bus journey to Eyre Square. The lobby of the hotel itself is very impressive and we saw the lobby and corridors being hoovered more then once and the hotel has a nice atmosphere.

I was told I couldn't use my debit card to pay for our stay and that I could only pay with credit card or cash. I don't have a credit card so had to use all the cash I had to pay on check-in. Although we saw the cleaner hoover several times, the chairs in the lobby and bar were filthy. The room wasn't equipped for 4 people. There was only room to hang our coats but nothing else and no drawers. The portion sizes in the restaurant were quite small, given the cost! None of these were a huge issue though and we would stay again.

I have stayed here every year since the beast from the east in Feb 2014. I love it. Even mu mum and dad now stay there when they need to be in galway Clinic. My daughter died in 2021, so my first time back was last year. I'm so glad I did. I just wish they had a reward system as 8 stay 2, sometimes even 3 times a year. Staff are mostly lovely. My kids live the pool and also great food selection. Only let down was we were promised a superior family room so the older kids had to stay with their granny. I'm a bit disappointed that no one contacted me as promised. However, for our family with 3 special needs kids, it's perfect.

Lack of communication, overbooking, and no refund or compromise offered. It is very disappointing as the Yeoman Hannon family frequents 3+ times a year. The kids love it, and so did I, but im a bit hesitant to book after the last experience. I tend not to mention we do family travel blogs, so to be treated normally, we do these for places with kids with additional needs. This was a top 3, but unfortunately, now a 5.

Bar and Restaurant were amazing with entertainment every night and allowed families to stay together without having to go back early due to younger children etc. Pool was fabulous. Breakfast great and location was 7 to 10 min drive from centre. Walkable for anyone able for 25 minute walk. Great place for young and older in life. Parking was free and plentiful.

Booked a family room with two adults and 2 teenagers. Very small room for a family size so wasn't the best to share for 5 days. A bit dated but some others in the group did get an upgrade to a beautiful room. My room was just on the small side and bathroom was dated. Cleaning could have also been a bit more thorough.

Very large clean and modern hotel. The family room with the bunk beds is small but the beds were very comfortable and our family slept well. The pool is on a workout facility that is attached. We had a long walk inside the building to find it. “Swim hats” are required and we purchased them for our kids and selves at the front desk. Great pool, just not the typical American hotel pool where it’s ok to have a beer while the kids splash around.

Location is too far from city centre to walk but we were able to get taxis easily
