We had a very pleasant experience at Swuite Galway. This is a great option for people that prefer to cook their own food and really live in a city while traveling. The kitchenette provides everything you need to cook meals and all appliances functioned well, although we did need to bring our own oil, seasonings, and condiments. The room was clean and well maintained, except for the shower which was a bit clogged from previous guests; however when we mentioned this to reception, they apologized and were able to clean the shower right away! The location is about a 20 minute walk from the city center, but it was located near the river walking and running paths by the university which we really enjoyed. There are also grocery stores within a 10 minute walk which was perfect for picking up food and drinks. Considering the kitchenette, staff friendliness, proximity to natural areas, and price, we felt that this was a very reasonable accommodation and we would be happy to return.

As mentioned, there was a cleanliness issue with the shower, but staff were happy to rectify this promptly. We did not mind walking to the center but 20 minutes may be too far for some. The room can get quite stuffy and hot, so we left the window open most of the time for some fresh air.

Absolutely great place to stay, very clean, very friendly staff, walkable distance to town centre and 2 buses (which however are not too frequent). Nice room with a kitchenette, so great for breakfast in the morning and you could even cook something if you wanted to. Very friendly staff, it was no problem to get an extra towel, borrow a hairdryer or ask for more coffee. If we go to Galway again, this would be our first choice.

No complaints, just two suggestions: a few hooks for jackets/coats would be great, it is not so great having to put damp overcoats on the hanger in the wardrobe. And it would help if the shower curtain was a tiny bit longer to avoid water getting through.

I really enjoyed my week here. It exceeded my expectations - the rooms were spotless, no damp or anything, and nicer than I expected! Really fab especially in the sunshine. I really felt at home here. The staff were super nice. It was actually super cosy and I will be returning hopefully next year.

The shower seemed to wet the bathroom floor a bit, which was a bit annoying as it seemed avoidable - but not a major problem! Earplugs are an idea as there is some faint sound of traffic from the road; but nothing too loud at all.

This accommodation in Galway was a pleasant surprise. It’s primarily used as student housing during the school year but it’s open to travelers during the off-season. It is a very clean, well-maintained and comfortable place to stay. The location is convenient — close to everything, with a handy convenience store right next door. Free garage parking was included. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I understand there’s a laundry facility on-site, though we didn’t use it during our stay. If you’re looking for a basic but very nice place at a great value, this is a solid choice. I’d definitely stay here again.

Room was lovely and clean. Very spacious with lots of light and a lovely kitchen area with all the utensils you need. Excellent location for walking to main attractions. Excellent bus service from outside the carpark. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful 👍

Unfortunately, there was a lot of early morning noise caused by the deliveries to the garage next door on Monday morning. A comfortable chair to sit on would have been appreciated. The swivel chairs supplied are for office/student accommodation and don't suit for relaxing to watch TV.

About 15 minutes from the centre walking, cracking garage for coffee and snacks next door! Underground parking is a major bonus in Galway. Also a washer and drier in the basement, which was really helpful. We had to ask for more towels, but they were provided promptly next morning. Beds were ok size and fairly comfortable.

Hot room, temps were mid 20s during our stay, so that didn't help, but room was very warm during the night, too warm for me! Shower had poor pressure.

The noise outside. The car wash at the garage next door seems like it runs all night. Very noisey! I know on the sheet of rules we received on arrival, it stated only after seven days of stay the cleaning gets done. We had to wait until four o' clock for check-in as the room was being cleaned. I think your cleaners need training. The suite floors should be swept and washed and the washroom should be cleaned each day! I pulled the bed out from the wall to make the bed, and the dust on the floor was disgusting, which seemed to be there for some time along with a hair brush which was also very dusty! No face cloths Also, while waiting for four o'clock check-in, we were told they could store our luggage. They sure did in a so-called broken washroom??? So not happy!

Great room, very clean, great facilities in room and excellent location. When booked early, very good value for money!

The blinds let a lot of light in as soon as 4am, so a sleeping mask might be a good idea. Unusually hot weather meant we had to have the windows open but it's right on a very busy road next to a 24hr garage. Light sleepers will struggle but for everyone else it's an absolute winner!

Within 15mins walking distance to town centre, also 5 mins on bus with bus stop at Cemetery opposite Swuite. Beside garage which sell basics. Shopping centre nearby (also within 10 mins walking distance) with Tesco etc. Staff on 24hr, very pleasant. Had all essential facilities, bathroom, small kitchenette, storage.

Not much space for sitting in room, other than desk chair or bed.

The reception staff were nice and helpful. The suite was bigger than I expected and had most things you would need for a short stay.

The cleanliness was good but there were a few hairs and so on, so just needs attention to detail. The room was a bit warm but as it was by a busy road and petrol station it wasn't possible to keep it open overnight - a fan would have been useful.
