All the tools to cook were in the kitchen. The dining room and kitchen were neatly managed by the staff. The homemade bread every morning was delicious. The dining room was cleaned frequently ,so l felt comfortable. I could drink tea and coffee at any time.
The room for 6 women was small. I felt uncomfortable with 5 person in the same group in a 6-person room. I couldn’t sleep because they didn’t stop talking in the middle of the night. I think it should not be with the group of 5 people in a 6 person room and the accommodation should be prepared to stay another room for 5 people of the group.

Right at coach station, close to railway, also to downtown only a few minutes walk. great set-up, very friendly service, responsive, and the atmosphere lively and yet comfortable. Free coffee, tea all day, plus water-refill station. Towel and laundry service. 4-bed room was fine, nice curtain for privacy, bathrooms clean. Chance to meet other travellers in common rooms downstairs, plus live music and pub crawl.
Hooks in the bathroom, a shelf for toiletries, a room spray, a bigger coat rack in room.

Great location, right in the center of town. Very nice staff (especially Hugh). Nicest hostel I stayed at in Ireland. The beds were very nice. Plenty of room, decently comfy, and they even had privacy curtains. Showers were good.
Don't eat the breakfast food! It's substandard. The fruit was very bad, shocking that there were no visible signs of rotting because it tasted like crap. It's also way too expensive. I stayed in three hostels over the course of my Irish vacation, and I paid more for this one than the other two combined. Would've picked another if I could've found a cheaper option.

The 4-person room I had was very well lit in the day and at night. There are ample room for people to move around in the room and to stow away their luggage under the beds. The ensuite shower/toilet in the room was comfortably spacious. The location is also great as it is just beside the Galway Coach Station. If you are taking a bus to your next destination in your onward journey, it is extremely convenient. The breakfast was nice although it has limited items compared to the other hostel I've stayed in in Galway.
The only downside of my stay is that there was a stag party for a group of guys. They were out partying and drinking and came back in the wee hours of the morning. In addition, one of them left his stuff and took over my bed. When I got back in the evening, that guy was nowhere to be found and I had to talk to the reception to help sort it out. The chap (sorry forgot his name) at the reception was extremely helpful and was able to help sort it out for me.

This was our first hostel experience. We had 6 family members traveling together so thought the six bed room shared would be ideal. The location was perfect! The food and staff were wonderful! Everything was clean and easy to understand. For the hard, but true.. the 6 bunk bed room was lovely as it had curtains to separate and its own outlet and light and lockers under the beds. The bathroom was tight and difficult to move the humidity out, therefore causing a very stuffy feel to the room- even with the window open. Having a floor fan was nice though. The beds were slightly hard for me (50 year old active fit mom that is a side sleeper) Overall this was a great experience and I would stay here again as well as recommend it!
If I could offer any suggestions it would be for a table of sorts in the bathroom to set items on while showering

Clean, safe, friendly and fast responding staff, wter, tea and little snackas available all day, breakfast every morning from 7 till 10, and most important literally at the bus coach station, so super close when you arrive late at night. Also located in the center, 5 min to the daily tours departures. Beds were comfy, there were enough individual lights and charges at the bed, also with type C. There were free water bottels per person. Would certainly come back!
Only the price (200€/night for two), but its common for Galway for the weekend/holidays. Also it was quite noisy from the bus station early in the morninv with the window open, so you would need earplugs

The location can't be beat. the room was spacious, we had a 2bunk to ourselves and there were curtains in front which made it nice and cosy. massive bathroom all super clean as were the sheets and covers. We got towels fresh from the dryer. Brekki was simple but comfy. Big windows which made it all bright and airy. Very quiet, even though there were lots of families and teenagers.
The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable but some people like that. The main light in the room was very harsh, like one fluorecent lamp. These are the only two things I would change.

Very friendly stuff and very clean
I couldn’t sit in the lobby in the morning at 4-6am when I had sleep problems because “the floor was wet”.

I visited Galway for the second time to attend a major running event who took place during the weekend. Snoozles hostel was a great surprise. Brand new building and completely new facilities, excellent staff (literally everybody I met from reception to housekeeping) and top quality breakfast for a hostel. More than expected, I had a great weekend. A big thank to Valentina, whose kindness, professionalism and smile made me feel at home and eager to return. Her service was truly outstanding and deserve this special mention. My most sincere congratulations.

We staid at a 6 bed private room. The beds are like little cubby pods, with a curtain for privacy. They are sturdy so the person in the top bunk can move without rattling the whole thing. the mattress was firm but comfy and the bathroom looked pretty new and was very clean. The shower was fantastic! The breakfast is amazing (compared to what is usually offered for free at hostels). Toast, cheese, ham, several spreads, several types of cereal, fruit, coffee and tea. Common areas are nice as well, although we didn't use them much.
Pillows are very flat, and the shower curtain sticks to you when the hot water is on (a glass door would be better) but these are very very minor things. Because we booked as a group we needed to leave a 30€ deposit in cash *each* (which was unexpected, I had interpreted 30€ per group and did not realise it had to be in cash) but there's an ATM in there and we got it back when we checked out so no big issue there. The price is relatively expensive for a hostel room, but that's more to do with the prices around Galway overall rather than particularly with this hostel, and you get a very good hostel experience in return.
