I found the ladies at front of house (at the Reception Desk) were very very pleasant and helpful at all times and would cheer you up as you come through the front house. Nothing was a problem. We enjoyed a lovely Coffee at the Coffee Dock adjacent to hotel receptionist and it was a lovely homely spot for a break.

We were in room 105 on the first floor and the noise level in the early morning was quite disturbing. My fellow companions were not to upset by it but it was the continuous hauling of crates of minerals and supplies to the Centra Shop across the way seemed to have gone on for ever. My only gripe!!!!

Location was brilliant, just down street from train station. Breakfast was very poor. We had booked b/fast for 9.00pm and we were down around 9.15. Very little fry left and what was left was all dried up, including eggs (3). On leaving dining room we did notice fresh breakfast had been put out but we were not offered same at 9.15.

The breakfast, as outlined above. Also, there was no sound (picture perfect) on our television when we turned it on at 8.30. We phoned reception and after about 30mins a porter came. He was unable to get sound either, and left. We waited for over an hour, no porter. We then turned off telly at the socket and sound returned, thankfully. Disappointed at service received.

Like I said in an email to the hotel what an amazing stay we had We were a group of six ages from 83 to 23 and we all had a super stay The staff were so kind and friendly all of them and the rooms were beyond comfortable and clean The price for a Sunday night was unreal and such value We had lunch in the restaurant and that was absolutely delicious and for the amount of good quality food was very good value Looking forward to a weekend again with friends Highly recommend your ideally located hotel Thank you !

Absolutely Nothing !!!!

Ideally situated off of Eyre Square. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. The hotel validated our Parking in the QPark Eyre Square parking garage which cut the day price in half! Staff were chatty and polite. There were 2 bottles of water and tea/coffee facilities in the room which was appreciated.

The room was extremely warm. We were situated at the front of the hotel so there was the expected street noise and chatter from local businesses. We didn't mind the noise but we couldn't then open the window to ventilate the heat out of the room! Light pjs and no duvet was the work around instead.

The bed was extremely comfortable, as well as a very convenient location in town right across from lovely pubs and centrally located just a 3 minute walk to all the stores! The breakfast was lovely as well! Staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Only thing I didn’t like about the property was they had run out of croissants by 9:45 when we came down for breakfast but besides that everything was lovely. Didn’t have the best view either it was of the alleyway where dumpster was.

Excellent location—near bus/train station and just off the main square. Plenty of restaurants just outside the door. Easy walk to see the city. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty.

This isn’t a “didn’t like” but just a heads up that rooms are not air conditioned. Not a problem at all as it doesn’t get too hot here. My visit was in July and the warmest was about 70F., and cooler in the evening. The room had two fans and the window opened. I was quite comfortable.

From start to finish we were exceptionally well looked after and cared for.....made feel so welcomed. A home away from home. When we got back to the hotel after our night on the town to the residents bar, the very nice night porter informed us the lift was out of action. He was doing his best to rectify this . For 3 of us this was fine but 1 of us(my mother 75) has minor mobility issues but was happy enough to use the stairs as we were staying on the first floor above reception and the restrooms were one floor below so was OK to have to use the stairs....it wasn't anyone's fault the lift wasn't working. Fast forward to the end of the night the porter had finally got the lift to work, which was great. His lovely colleague Danielle because of our understanding especially with my mother treated us to some well appreciated sandwiches, pickels & crisps hand delivered to our room. To me this was well beyond her duties but showed what EXCEPTIONALLY BRILLIANT customer service at the Eyre Square Hotel. Well done all, will definitely be back and most definitely will be singing your praises and HIGHLY RECOMMENDING the Eyre Square Hotel to everyone we can. Thank you for a wonderful stay .

breakfast was lovely, a really good selection of food available the bed was really comfy and the room was spotless clean the staff was very friendly and helpful

the bathroom door was frosted glass, had gaps around the edges and had no lock - not very comfortable and not at all private the kettle provided in the room did not work there was some confusion over room service - there was a leaflet in the room that had a number to ring for room service, however when we rang the staff seemed confused about how we had got the number and said that there was no room service the glasses provided for the breakfast juices did not look especially clean, they were covered in watermarks and fingerprints

Location of this hotel is truly excellent--less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is modern and clean and the facilities are in great shape. The staff was super friendly, which we always love. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was hot with great water pressure. The only thing you may wish to consider is that our room faced front, towards the street. The area is bustling and it was noisy at night--BUT--we had a fan in our room and we simply turned it on and the white noise was enough to drown out any outside noise and we slept so well!! We could not have been happier!

I need to highlight the breakfast and the staff in the morning on 13th of June where a young smiling girl Emma was working. More of Emma - she was the most customer friendly and smiling person who took good care of our Irish breakfast. She really ensured a good start of the day with her friendliness and her way of looking after the guests. The bartender made absolutely the best Bloody Mary I have ever tasted and in general the bar / dinning area was beautiful.

You need to look into the speed of the elevator. We waited a long time both for going up from the reception area to floor 3 and also back again.
